    Double tap if meal planning is confusing after weight loss surgery🤦🏻‍♀️•

Follow these simple steps when planning out your meals.👇🏽•
•
1) Pick out your protein! Once you reach the regular stage this could be anywhere between 3-5 oz protein which is usually at least half cup portions. This could include chicken, fish, tofu, turkey, beef, or tempeh. Here you see 4 oz Maple Dijon Chicken which is about 28 G protein •
•
2) Then add 1/3-1/2 cup non-starchy veggies for fiber and a vitamin boost. Here you see green beans but it could also be broccoli, salad, cauliflower, or carrots 🥕.•
•
3) Add 1-4 Tablespoons of carbs. The amount really depends on how far out you are from surgery and how much you can handle. Here you see mashed potatoes with the skin for extra fiber. Sweet potatoes, beans, butternut squash or rice could also be options. The key is the portion size and listening to your body. •

4) Lastly, make sure you have some flavor.  Having flavor is key to being able to enjoy healthier meal options. The chicken was cooked in Dijon mustard, oregano with a touch of maple syrup in the pressure cooker.•

    ABS BABY! 🔥😅 Firstly, let me just apologize for the angles of the videos, I'm still getting used to filming in the gym with other people around and I don't want to take up too much space 😬. This was yesterdays ab workout! ➡️ To start I did crunches, I grabbed the heaviest weight in the women's section as an anchor and got to work. You can see me put my hands between the floor and my back to make sure there was no space and that my core was completely engaged.
I kept sliding so you see me readjusting myself, it's always okay to stop your workout and fix your form. I did 10 reps! ➡️ Bycicle crunches! I focused on one side, after 10 reps, held for 5 seconds and repeated the same steps on the other side. ➡️ Plank! 😅. I've got some troubles with my wrists so doing a plank on my hands and not my forearms is huge! I held this for 1 loooooong minute. I kept checking my form in the mirror, my legs could've been a little higher but my core was stronggg! ➡️ Toe taps, I put a towel under my back bc my back was making farty 💩 noises against the floor 🤣. You often see heel taps but I find toe (ish) taps are more challenging for me, maybe it's bc I have a longer torso? I did 15 each side #ouch. ➡️ Leg raises. Put your hands under your bum for back support, I usually adjust during my first rep to make sure I'm in a comfortable spot. 10 reps baby! ➡️ Weighted around the word crunches. You don't need to add weight if it's too much, this was the 2nd time I added weight and only added 2.5lbs. Switching between legs, for a total of 20 reps bc these kill me 🤕. ➡️ After that I sat a did some deep breathing to give my core a little break. ➡️ Last but not least, plank hip dips! Again, looking in the mirror to make sure my form was good and I did move my feet back in position a couple of times.  30 reps total!

    Progress 🙌🏼😃 I am so proud of myself guys, it’s been rough and I’ve had my days were I get of track for a day and I remember my goals and pick myself right back up! It’s been such a struggle to lose weight🧭  but seeing this shows me that slow progress is better than no progress and Even if you have a bad day it’s okay to start again the next! Patience is key 🗝 and as long as you focus on what you want you WILL get results! 👏🏼🥳 I don’t weigh myself often because I dont want to discourage myself if I don’t see the number I want see, that’s just the way I am. But these pictures say a lot and I am soooo HAPPY 😍😱🌟 KETO is amazing!

    Learning something new for me. How to ride a dirt bike/motorcycle. So you'll have to wait a week or so for me to throw an axe on fire while riding it. You see me ride four-wheelers but never been on a motorcycle till yesterday. A brother of mine rides dirt bikes and brought one over for me to learn and we made a little course in our field so we'll have a place to ride. He has this philosophy that makes a lot of sense to me in light of the training I do with the idea of being prepared for anything in life... I think you ought to be able to lift/train with/fight with/shoot/throw anything/move any way so your body is physically prepared for any possible tasks...he thinks you ought to be able to ride anything or drive any kind of vehicle for the same reason. Makes a lot of sense. Learning new things makes even more sense. Plus I got a strong man feat with motorcycles in mind you'll have to just wait on seeing... until then join #NoahsArmy learn something new push yourself achieve your dreams and become a #blooddonor and #organdonor today! #dirtbike #motivation #motorcycle #learnnewthings #newnueralpathways #strongman #oldtimestrongman
