    🌿🌿🌿 Most delicious way I’ve eaten Brussels sprouts in a LONG while ♥️. If you’ve yet to commit to a veggie side for your gatherings this weekend, this treatment is insanely delicious. Simply sauté a large red onion [sliced] in a generous amount of olive oil for 5 minutes then add 2 pounds of trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts along with salt, chili flakes, and wine vinegar. Cover and cook for 20 minutes until everything is tender and well browned. Toss in 1/2 cup of toasted nuts of choice [the recipe calls for walnuts ~ I only had almonds] and serve with more salt, chili flakes and fresh herbs as desired. Of course I also added @flourist Green Sauce I brought home too cause I cannot live without it 😆😉. So good! This recipe is from @lidiabastianich’s book Lidia’s Mastering The Art of Italian Cooking ~ I cannot wait to dive further into this incredible book!     little bowl of sunshine on a sunday🌞 haven't had some good old fashioned oats in toooo long and they are just tooo good for that kind of disdain😟 ~ 
plain rolled oats topped with sunflower seed butter, really yummy plums that I came across at this amish farmer's market (the picture does them no justice but they're bright yellow on the inside; never seen it before but i like it), a couple plant based apple-cinnamon fig bars, and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon for the finishing touch. sweet & satisfying; my kind of bowl
