You live most of your life inside of your head. Make sure it’s a nice place to be ❤️ How you talk to yourself will either move you forward or hold you back. It takes work, but be kind to yourself, forgive yourself, and compliment yourself. Even if you don’t believe it today, you will believe it if you’re consistent with it - like anything else in life. Tell yourself that you are capable, strong, AND worthy! A positive mindset is everything :)

🔥 DB Step-Up
Start with your left foot on the bench and the dumbbells by your side. Your left foot stays on the bench the whole time. When you step up, try to use your left glutes and hamstrings rather than bouncing off your bottom leg. Repeat on the right side.
🔥 Bulgarian Split Squat and Hop
Keep your torso upright as you hop on your front leg. Keep your back leg pressing against the bench throughout the exercise. Repeat on the other side.
🔥 Single Leg Elevated Glute Bridge
Start laying on your back with your right foot pressing against the bench. Try to keep your left thigh in line with the right as you press into the bench and lift your hips in the air. Repeat on the left leg. -
🔥 Double Leg Elevated Glute Bridge
This time, start with both feet pressing against the bench. As you left the hips off of the ground, squeeze your glutes!

Have you ever gone on a fitness/health retreat?! This was my first retreat EVER and my experience at @campconscious_ was absolutely incredible! Taking yourself out of your everyday routine to try something new can be a bit scary. But, I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone - I promise you will learn so much about yourself throughout the process. The past few days at #CampConscious have been filled with UNREAL foods, lots of laughs, and incredible support from the women around me!
It’s crazy to think that I started my fitness journey 9 years ago! Looking back, I never knew the joy and opportunities it would bring me - but I am grateful EVERYDAY for it. Im grateful for the days I got to the gym when I didn’t want to because I felt too tired or lazy. I’m grateful for the lessons I learned when pushing through the burn and persevering through the pain. I’m grateful for the fitness community I am apart of and built. I’m grateful for the changes in my body that my hard work and consistency in the gym has brought. Living a healthy lifestyle and creating your own fitness journey is a choice that YOU get to make! We are officially one month and four days into 2020!! ★ How is your 2020 going so far? Many of you have been messaging me saying that you are losing your New Years @Motivationforfitness. Let’s change that!! If you’ve been exercising daily and eating healthy regularly, but not seeing any changes in your body, that’s okay! It takes TIME and PATIENCE for you to notice change - and we’re talking very small changes - so don’t give up!! -
Here’s some advice: -
★ Start with small, manageable goals and build on each accomplishment. -
★ Work hard, and don’t give up -

▶︎ Pulley Alternating Step-Up
Hold handles to the side with your shoulders rolled back. Hold this position as you do alternating step-ups. -
▶︎ Pulley Single Leg Step-Up
This time, keep your left leg on the platform the whole time. Continue the step-ups on the left leg to finish the set before switching to the right. -
▶︎ Pulley Single Leg Step-up to Single Arm Curl
Keeping your right leg on the platform, you will only use 1 pulley in your left hand. As you step up onto the top of the platform, do a bicep curl with the left arm. Continue the set on the right leg/left arm, before switching to the other side. -
▶︎ Pulley Single Leg Step-Up to Single Arm Shoulder Press
Keeping your right leg on the platform, you will only use 1 pulley in your left hand (starting at your shoulder). As you step up onto the top of the platform, do a shoulder press with the left arm. Continue the set on the right leg/left arm, before switching to the other side. -
▶︎ Squat Hold and Curl
Hold a squatting position (feet wide and toes slightly facing outward) behind the platform. Hold both handles in front of your knees. Hold still in the squatting position as you do bicep curls.

I’m currently off to Mexico for a health and wellness retreat and I couldn’t be more excited! 😘
This week has been particularly tough for me, and social media can be deceiving! In my stories and posts I know I exude only strength and confidence because I never want to give off negative energy. But, I like to continually remind myself (and I like to remind all of you) that it’s OK to be vulnerable and it’s OK to not be OK.
This has been a week full of stress, breakdowns, and anxiety for me.
It is important though to allow yourself to feel vulnerable and share your struggles with your loved ones. This will allow you to heal, connect with others and maybe even help someone who is also struggling.
When I’m having a difficult week, some things that help me feel relaxed are to turn my phone off for a few hours, take a bath, sit quietly and focus on my breathing, light some candles, or treat myself to a massage. I used to ignore my feelings and move on with my day but I am learning to make time for myself (without guilt)
If you’re having a hard day, be gentle on yourselves babes! We’re all human and are allowed to struggle. Everyday try to do something for YOU to reconnect with yourself and always remember that the tough times only make you stronger.
