    It’s official! I have eaten way too much rubbish over the summer. Things are feeling a little tight on me. And I’m ok with that. I’ve have a good summer. Made some fabulous memories. But at the same time I think I’m rather ready to beck back into routine. The plan is to start my swimming up again when I’m back at work. I did it for a few weeks this summer and it really calmed me. I’m hoping it will help me de-stress , help with my stomach and help me with mental health too. And if I happen to fit back into my smaller clothes because of it, then that will be a bonus too!

    I really HATE food waste so if I screw up when I am trying something new, I do my best to salvage what I can and turn it into something edible. This Follow Your Heart Vegan Egg turned weird when I got the measurements wrong so my plans for an omelette didn't quite work out. I scrambled the results and threw in some scallions and grated vegan cheese and turned it into a toast topping that was actually pretty tasty! Served with some pan fried Brussels sprouts and a side of salad greens, with a drizzle of mustard because I had a weird craving, this was an unconventional but satisfying brunch.

    Big sis was doing her meal prep today and asks me..."What's a normal size portion of grapes? Well not YOUR size portion! A normal one"... Anyone else happily sit and eat a punnet of grapes in one sitting?? Better than a family sharing bag of buttons right... Unless you've eaten both in an hour 😅 that's what I call a happy snaccident. What's your fav snack?? Healthy or unhealthy 😈

Day forty seven
Today has been a chaotic day full of sweet treats and not a lot of nutritionally balances food!
I planned to have Pancakes with lemon curd, fresh raspberries and crumbled meringue for breakfast... which was delicious may I add!
But then I went out in the morning and took longer than expected and fell in to a coffee shop on the way home and had a pot of tea and a slice of lemon meringue pie! Which was also delicious!!!
Then when I got home I was literally starving, I had already made up a fruit bowl from yesterday that I didn’t eat so I scoffed that and then Andres mom offered me a slice of Victoria sponge which of course I couldn’t refuse!
I then planned to go to the gym so I had a cereal bar but I’d lost all motivation and had a bath and a face mask instead♥️
Can’t imagine tomorrow and Sunday are going to be much better, family party tomorrow then bbq on Sunday.
But sometimes these things happen, I’ve been doing so well compared to how I was eating. I feel stronger and generally happier and I’m sure il have a great weekend.☺️

Breakfasts: lemon and raspberry meringue pancakes 🥞 🍋 & a cup of ☕️ tea

Lunch: raspberry, blueberry, 🥝 kiwi, pineapple 🍍, mango 🥭 & cherry fruit bowl
1/6 of raspberry Victoria sponge

Pot of ☕️ tea & a slice of lemon meringue

Cup of ☕️ tea and cereal bar

Evening meal: sriracha salad with 100g broccoli and haddock fish cake

Cup of ☕️ tea
2 lemonade freeze pops

    Today was hard to eat right. We’re moving house tomorrow and all the kitchen stuff is packed up so I can’t prepare something nice and healthy. Also, what with the running around all day I was so hungry! I found some chocolate mini eggs when sorting through some kitchen stuff and arranged them into my mouth so to save room in the packing boxes 😉😬😋 then I craved sugar all day 😩 
I did take the kids to Mac Donald’s and I didn’t have a single chip, not one! I popped next door to Sainsburys and got a prawn salad 🥗 .
