For the past 400 years, just a short drive from where we are living Lipizzan horses have been bred on the Karst Plateau.
.
So when the youngest family member found out there was a horse theme park down the road we had to go check it out. .

Piran jsou takové malé Benátky. Autem je dovoleno vhet pouze místním a ubytovaným v místních hotelech. Fakticky úžasné malé městečko.

Liam’s daycare is starting in 10 days and we did a little shopping at @malizakladi to get all the things we need 💕 I’m super excited, but at the same time worried, for the day 1! How did you handle it? 😊 #daycare

    Where are my dragons??
One of the many bridges over Ljubjanica river is the nest of many of those fantastic beasts. If you’re looking for a city with character, I’d definitely recommend Lubiana!

The heart shaped road lies about 30 minutes drive from Maribor in the small village of Špičnik.
The location is a private property of family Dreisibner which keeps a tourist farm so we recommend to pay a visit there and have a snack or a drink before entering the premises to take a shot. ================================== .

Alpine ibex & Mt. Triglav. Photo by @mitjarobic. Selected by @sanya_lt, founder of @igslovenia.

Triglav is Slovenia’s national symbol and pride, which we carry in our hearts as well as on our flag. Its pyramid-shape summit rises above central Julian Alps and is clearly visible from far and near. As the highest mountain, it has stirred the imagination of explorers, hikers and climbers already in the 18th century, when it was first conquered by four brave men from Bohinj. After that Slovenian and German mountaineering societies practically competed in the number of marked and climbed routes. Nowadays, challenges in its huge north wall are left for the best climbers, and the ascent to the summit is a wish for most Slovenians and an increasing number of tourists as well. But there is no easy way to the top. /slovenia-trips.com/ ================================== .

    Škofja Loka by @rocketborn_aerial
. You can't easily get a view like this but you can get an idea how beautiful is this medieval city!
.
Located just a short ride from Slovenia’s capital, historic Škofja Loka is the best-preserved medieval town in Slovenia. Narrow streets, charming buildings, and a castle surrounded by hills and forest, create the fairytale-like appearance of the town. Škofja Loka gained city rights in 1274, and with that, became a vibrant craftsman and economic center of the region. After a devastating earthquake in 1511 that damaged nearly every building in town, Škofja Loka was successfully renovated and has not changed in appearance since. This preservation presents travelers with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to step back in time.
