Happy hump day. Today was cardio and abs and squats. We busted it out in 40 minutes and got it. My girl @jill_luvsthefood is doing @thesculptyou body challenge and she is killing it. I am loving being able to get to the gym with her again. Her pushing herself is my motivation to push myself that much harder. I am so grateful for her journey because if not for her I would not be into year 3 of my health and fitness journey. Oh and like last Wednesday we wore our match @balanceathletica gear. Here is a compilation of some great ab workouts to make them pop out but remember you first have to burn the layer of fat that is surrounding them to begin with. Everyone has abs technically but you have to train them and also go through a caloric deficit to see results and remember it takes hard work and and consistency.

AURUM Pull Down is like a chin up exercise in a seated position. It is used to keep the back upright and bring the shoulder blades into a neutral position, close to the spine.

The latissimus protects the lungs and ribs and acts as a pull-up mechanism. Meanwhile leaning forward to desktop at the office desk impacts the posture negatively (think of the shape of a 🥐), which is why it is so important to train the latissimus.

When latissimus is optimally controlled and thoroughly trained, the posture of the body becomes naturally upright and therefore, the chest muscles appear larger because they are wider and more open over the torax.

So, train your back well, guys, and your chest will look gigantic!

Ladies! Even when you train like this, don't worry - you won't become bulky thanks to your genetic optimum.

Couldn't let today end without getting my #workout in especially since my body was primed for it.

I went with a 30minute #tabata workout from @hasfit_official . Each exercise was done for 20seconds 4times with 10secs rest in between reps. It got me sweating and panting in no time, also engaging several muscles. I love these kinds of workouts when I want to get maximum results in little time.

Durante todo o treino é importante estar atento a todos os movimentos do seu aluno/cliente, pois além da estabilidade corporal, evitamos lesões, e melhor será o desempenho do aluno durante todo o treino.
Por que contrair o abdômen durante o treino??? O que eles fazem?
O músculo abdominal serve para realizar alguns movimentos de tronco, para segurar as vísceras abdominais e, estabilizar a coluna enquanto a pelve e os membros se movem. Por isso precisamos manter o abdômen contraído para não sobrecarregar e tensionar a região lombar e sacroilíaca e para um melhor posicionamento da caixa torácica.
Com uma boa ação dos músculos abdominais temos uma melhora da postura.

Heyooo! I’m back with some more ab workouts! Just a few to get your core burning a little! These are pre-filmed since i haven’t had time to film this week, i had these saved up and decided why not post some??

✨Heel Taps! - 15-20 reps x 3 sets! These are essential for me tbh, i do these anytime I’m feeling like doing some abs!
✨Assisted Sit-Ups - perfect for beginners or anyone really! Just stick your feet some place where they won’t move (i used the railing in the gym) you can use a heavy dumbbell as well!
✨Toe Touches
- these are absolutely killer tbh! Add some weight like a dumbbell or a medicine ball for more of a challenge!!

Want to make this post short and sweet since I’ve got a bunch of assignments to get through tonight! But I hope everyone’s having a great week and a great February!

Durante todo o treino é importante estar atento a todos os movimentos do seu aluno/cliente, pois além da estabilidade corporal, evitamos lesões, e melhor será o desempenho do aluno durante todo o treino.
Por que contrair o abdômen durante o treino??? O que eles fazem?
O músculo abdominal serve para realizar alguns movimentos de tronco, para segurar as vísceras abdominais e, estabilizar a coluna enquanto a pelve e os membros se movem. If you have been following me for awhile, you have seen many MANY leg raise workouts. They are my fave & a big reason why I have developed a strong core!

However, you’ve never seen these exercises because this was my first time discovering that a foam roller makes a world of a difference! 😵

Happy Monday my fit friends! 🤙🏼 I was thinking of something encouraging and motivating to write about today, but honestly, I had nothing. I was starting to let it affect me, to bring me down, but then I told myself to stop. I'm human too. I get unmotivated just like you do. Just because I choose to share only the positive parts of my life doesn't mean I don't experience periods of feeling unmotivated. The other day, I took some pre-workout, and went to the gym with the idea of doing legs. I couldn't wake up, the pre didn't work (or maybe my mind didn't let it work). I was focusing on how much I DIDN'T want to be in the gym and I let it affect my workout. So I left. I did one exercise and left. Am I upset about it? No. Did I fall behind in reaching my goals? No. Is today a new day? YES. Can I go to the gym today? YES. Did I listen to my body? YES. Whatever you may be feeling today, just remember that tomorrow is a new day filled with new opportunities! It's ok to have an off day, we all do! Don't beat yourself up over little things. Do your best to focus on the positives! I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Monday and a great week! Happy Monday my fit friends! 🤙🏼 I was thinking of something encouraging and motivating to write about today, but honestly, I had nothing. I was starting to let it affect me, to bring me down, but then I told myself to stop. I'm human too. I get unmotivated just like you do. Just because I choose to share only the positive parts of my life doesn't mean I don't experience periods of feeling unmotivated. The other day, I took some pre-workout, and went to the gym with the idea of doing legs. I couldn't wake up, the pre didn't work (or maybe my mind didn't let it work). I was focusing on how much I DIDN'T want to be in the gym and I let it affect my workout. So I left. I did one exercise and left. Am I upset about it? No. Did I fall behind in reaching my goals? No. Is today a new day? YES. Can I go to the gym today? YES. Did I listen to my body? YES. Whatever you may be feeling today, just remember that tomorrow is a new day filled with new opportunities! It's ok to have an off day, we all do! Don't beat yourself up over little things. Do your best to focus on the positives! I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Monday and a great week! Un petit peu marre d’insta et son feed ahah. J’ai envie de poster sans me soucier du feed, poster des endroits que j’ai aimé sans me soucier des hashtags, publier des moments que j’ai vraiment adoré sans aucune description, publier à des heures insensées. Autant j’adore les story parce que c’est instantané, autant les posts ça me bloque. Quitte à faire baisser mon insta, est-ce que je préférerai pas juste poster ce que je kiff et basta🤔😅♥️

קבלה לכולם...
לפניי עומדות שתי מטרות לשנת 2020 (בין היתר) עמידת ידיים וריצת חצי מרתון. לריצת חצי המרתון התאמנו כבר ארבעה חודשים ושבוע הבא זה ממש קורה... לגבי המטרה השנייה- זה בתהליך.. תהליך ארוך.. תהליך שגורם לי להתייאש ולמצוא את הכוחות להגיע יום למחרת לתרגל שוב, תהליך שנראה ככה:לא מצליח לא מצליח לא מצליח-מצליח- לא מצליח לא מצליח-מצליח-חיזוקים-לא מצליח לא מצליח לא מצליח-מצליח חלקית וכבר הבנתם את הפואנטה... אבל הדבר שהכי למדתי מכל התהליך הזה הוא לקבל.. לקבל את זה שזה ב״עיבוד..״ לקבל את זה שיש ימים שהתרגול לא הולך (הרי אין תרגול לא טוב.. כל תרגול הוא מצויין!) , לקבל את זה שאין לי כרגע (בדגש על הכרגע!) את הקשר בין המיינד לגוף ברגע נתון, לקבל את הפחד כמו שהוא.. לקבל את התהליך עצמו! דברים לא קורים בבת אחת. מזל שלי שיש לי את איתי שתמיד מזכיר לי שזה לא משנה מתי אנחנו משיגים העיקר שאנחנו צועדים לכיוון ולומדים על עצמנו בכל צעד בדרך.
