    Mindset is Everything whether you want to believe it or not....
If tomorrow is day 1, 31, or day 131 of your fitness journey - the most important part is having the right mindset!

If you are eating healthy and exercising with the only goal to “lose weight” - what happens after you lose the weight? Do you stop your healthy lifestyle?  If your only measure of success of your healthy lifestyle is weight loss - it will be much more difficult to stick too & determine success.
.
What about the short term and long term effects eating healthier and exercising will have on your energy levels, sleep quality, overall feeling each day, and of course quality of life long term.  There is so much emphasis our on weight loss that people forget and tend to over look the other amazing benefits that come along with a well rounded healthy lifestyle.  Being healthy & fit allows me to be able to get outside and go for a jog in a beautiful city with some good tunes or a podcast in your headphones, have the energy to play with my son, take the ball to the park & shoot some hoops, or just feel more energized and comfortable in my own body in general.

Today my goal for you is to really think about how you feel after you exercise, after you eat a healthy meal, after you eat a “Not so healthy” meal, and how you feel if you don’t move your body.  Just remember you only have one body, so take care of it!  This doesn’t include crash diets, long exhausting hours in the gym - it just means making healthier choices - less processed foods - more clean foods - and simply adding a little more movement in the day.

We all think about the present - think about how you want to feel 10/20 years from now - the choices you make now will have an impact on that.

A BODY IN MOTION STAYS IN MOTION

Outside of the gym, what are some of your favourite ways to move your body? I am such an outdoors girl (when it’s warm out and not raining), fresh air brings me life and I absolutely love it!  Comment below your thoughts, let’s keep this conversation going and morganite each other to keep that positive mindset going....
