    Bulalo ni Lolo bu #JeepneyAve in #Eatogether 
We got 1 Classic Bulalo ni Lolo, which came with 1 cup of rice. The bowl was huge! There was a huge chunk in middle in a pool of beef broth. That big chunk was a huge knee cap bone, with some tendons still on it. The rest of the meat was swimming in the soup. The meat though was so tender. Could barely find them in the pool though, since the broth was rather dark vs what i'm used to. There were only a few cuts of veggies in it. Let's just say you wont run out of soup. The broth was also a bit salty for us. But not putting fish sauce with calamansi wont make every spoonful complete.

Overall, it was a good meal. For someone who loves thin soup, this is an eye-candy. It was just too salty for sipping frenzy. Might still try it again sometime. You should too!

    Look @juliettavecchio made me dinner! Beef wontons in a delicious broth over fresh spinach. She ground steak with a raw egg, garlic, ginger, mint, basil, and carrot. The broth I had made previously from bones and trimmings. She clearly found my stash in the freezer. Added some water, ginger, garlic, onion, celery, and soy sauce. Brought to a boil, simmered, then strained. Cooked the dumpling right in the broth. I topped mine with a dash of sesame oil, hot chili oil, scallions, cilantro, and seasame seeds. Amazing! #beefbroth #dumplings #wontons #asiancooking #homemade #nickssupperclub

    Guest appearance by #chefmom, with her short rib mushroom barley soup. She made her own beef broth with the short ribs, and then used the broth and the ribs for soup, adding white and cremini mushrooms, barley, carrots, shallots, and celery. All in all it took her two days to make, and it’s turned me into this emoji —> 🤤. my review✍🏽: my God this is the first time I rlly rlly liked shirataki noodles. I've had them with spaghetti sauce before and they've never came out this good. I think the instructions kyndra gives on how to cook them made this dish taste suhgoood 🤤

husband✍🏽: I rreally like the texture of the noodles in this recipe. They didn't taste overly chewy and it paired well with the broth, steak and eggs. This was a complete meal.

    Lean Beef Stroganoff Meatballs in a Light Cream Sauce 🤤 Would you serve these over noodles, rice or mashed potatoes? So many options! These tender meatballs made with lean ground beef in a light sour cream and mushroom sauce are easy to make, comforting and super delicious.

INGREDIENTS:
**** Meatballs ****
▪️750g of lean ground beef
▪️1/3 cup of diced onion
▪️1/4 cup of chopped parsley
▪️1 tablespoon of minced garlic
▪️1 egg
▪️1 teaspoon of seasoned salt or seasoned meat tenderizer
▪️1/2 teaspoon onion powder
▪️Pinch of salt and pepper
▪️1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
▪️2 tablespoons of olive oil (for cooking)
**** For sauce ****
▪️1 tablespoon of butter
▪️1 tablespoon of water
▪️1/3 cup of diced onion
▪️2 cups of sliced white mushrooms
▪️2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
▪️2 cups of beef broth (low sodium/ regular)
▪️1/3 cup of sour cream (light/fat free)
▪️Pinch of salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS:
**** Meatballs ****
🔹️In a mixing bowl add ground beef, onion, parsley, garlic, egg, seasoned salt/seasoned meat tenderizer, onion powder and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well.
🔹️Add breadcrumbs and mix well (mix by hand).
🔹️Scoop out one full tablespoon of ground beef and roll into a ball shape. Place on plate. Repeat until all mixture is used.
🔹️Heat olive oil in a large pan and reduce to medium heat. Add meatballs and cook for 8 minutes, flip over and cook for an additional 8 minutes on the other side. Reduce heat slightly if required - do not burn.
🔹️Remove meatballs from the pan and set aside.
**** Sauce ****
🔹️ DO NOT WASH PAN! Using the same pan, scrape/discard all drippings reserving just 1 tablespoon of drippings.
🔹️Add butter and onions to the pan with the reserved drippings. Cook for 1 minute on low-medium heat stirring frequently.
🔹️Immediately add mushrooms plus water and cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
🔹️Add flour and mix into mushrooms for 30 seconds.
🔹️Immediately add beef broth and mix well, bring to a boil and reduce to simmer for 3 minutes.
🔹️Add sour cream and mix well for 1 minute until combined into the sauce.
🔹️Return meatballs to the sauce, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to sauce if required.
