Morning!! Not a fashion - related post ... I just liked what I wore yesterday- beanie and all...!) I actually wanted to talk about an amazing book by @drchatterjee “The Stress Solution” that was given to me by my dear and very wise friend @dizzlesky (an early Christmas present). .
I am only 1/3 in but I implore any of you who are feeling ‘full up’ with whatever challenges life is throwing at you right now to get this. He explains what stress us, how it effects us and gives such a huge range of ways to deal with it so it doesn’t consume us and inevitably effect our health.

My stress is mainly coming from having a child with additional and complex needs; we are rapidly finding out that Christmas for her is actually a really hard time and while she grapples with that we have to ‘absorb’ the knock on effects. .
It is highly stressful- making. So I cannot read this book quick enough! (I’d like to add that it’s not a ‘quick fix’ book- it’s showing you a whole host of changes you can make for your whole life...) Anyway- I’m starting my day as I mean to go on- with an affirmation or two (as recommended) a cup of tea and a slice of my Bundt cake for breakfast (can’t change all habits in one day!!!) I am then going to turn off my phone (clearly top of his list of things to do) and decorate our Christmas tree (yes I know we are quite late to the party on this one). Have a lovely one- whatever you are doing... xx
