Em seu treinamento você avalia seu padrão respiratório?

A respiração foi o primeiro movimento que fizemos ao nascermos e desde então não paramos mais.
.
Devido a padrões culturas e fatores de estresse ao longo do nosso desenvolvimento mudamos e comprometemos o padrão de funcionamento natural desse movimento.
.
Gosto sempre de começar o treino dos meus alunos através do reconhecimento e treinamento respiratório, pois apesar de ser involuntário temos o controle sobre a velocidade, a quantidade e lugar que executamos ela.
.
Além das funções de organização das emoções, desenvolver a atenção plena, estado de presença, a ativação do diafragma através da respiração  possibilita a estabilização do core, e consequentemente permite que as estruturas mais periféricas do corpo,se movimentem de forma mais eficientes durante o treinamento.

    I had a big presentation for a  hospital contract this week. I was super anxious plus managing mom/wife/daughter/doctor guilt and when I walked into the presentation, I saw this little gal on the shelf.  Reminded me that worrying isn’t my business, that’s God’s job. I need to dream, prepare, practice and be authentic.

    This kind of weight training used to really intimidate me. Now I’ve learned that I really need to be lifting like this to achieve my goals. 💪💪

I think probably everyone has heard that “muscle burns fat”, but I’m not sure I really understood that until a year or so ago. 🧐

When I used to think about burning fat I imagined that I melted fat off with every mile I ran. Part of that is kinda true 🤷🏻‍♀️. Long cardio sessions burn more calories while doing the actual activity. However, after weight training you keep burning calories at a higher rate after you’ve finished the weight training session. Building muscle burns calories for longer. ⏰

The most common misconception among doctors, dieticians and personal trainers is that the missing mass (lost weight) has been converted into energy or heat.

Long story short we don’t excrete fat out or melt it by burning it off. We breathe it out!!! The more muscle you have the more fat you will convert and breathe out. Now that makes sense! 🤓
