今日は珍しくグリーンスムージーです
昨日、道の駅で沢山のパセリを買ったので、パセリのスムージーですよ*\(^o^)/*
パセリ、アボカド、自家製カスピ海ヨーグルト、牛乳、バナナ、ナッツをミキサーにかけました。
まったりとムースみたいな触感でこんな風にトッピングが沈まないくらいしっかりとした感じです。
アボカドやバナナなどを入れることでムースのような感じで美味しく食べられますよ
そして、パセリは味が強いと思いきや結構スムージーと会合うんですよ。
整腸作用、免疫力アップ、美肌効果。

Chicken fajitas 🔥

Y’all, this chicken is 💯
I rubbed it in olive oil, drizzled it with the juice of 1 lime, and coated it in the @primalpalate taco seasoning. I let it marinate for 3 hours and and then cooked it in strips over a medium heat.

The peppers and tomatoes are from my @misfitsmarket 📦 and I used the @sietefoods . •

RECETA 👇SHAKSHUKA⁣
Les dejo un link en mi perfil con tips, y mas @saboresdemihuerto

INGREDIENTES⁣
4 huevos⁣
1/2 cebolla (150 gr)⁣
1/2 pimiento (75 gr)⁣
5 jitomates (500 gr)⁣
1 diente de ajo⁣
1–2 ramitas de Perejil (4 gr)⁣
1–2 chile serrano (10 gr)⁣
1 cucharadita semillas de cilantro⁣
1/4 cucharadita de comino⁣
1/2 cucharadita pimentón dulce ⁣
3 cucharadas de aceite de oliva⁣
Sal y pimienta a gusto⁣
INSTRUCCIONES⁣
1-En una sartén con 3 cucharadas de aceite de oliva sofreír las cebollas hasta que estén suaves. ⁣
2-Agregar el pimiento y cocinar por 3 minutos más. ⁣
3-Colocar el ajo, las semillas de cilantro y el comino. Cocinar por 3 minutos o hasta que las especies suelten sus aromas. ⁣
4-Colocar el jitomate (tomate), sal y pimienta y cocinar tapado por 5 minutos o hasta que se forme una salsa. ⁣
5-Con la ayuda de una pala de cocina, hacer 4 agujeros y en cada uno de ellos colocar un huevo. ⁣
6-En cada huevo colocar sal y pimienta, y el pimentón dulce, tapar y cocinar a fuego medio-bajo entre 7 y 11 minutos o hasta que los huevos estén en el punto de preferencia. ⁣
7-Espolvorear el perejil por encima y servir inmediatamente.

I’ve never been the biggest fan of yogurt. Of course, unless it was the super sugary, dyed-fake colored kind, the kind that have just as much sugar as a candy bar 🙄 .

When I started delving into healthier yogurt, I would choose those cute convenient cups with the foil lids, with all the different “fruit” kinds to chose from, even some with fruit IN it! Some of them even had claims of health benefits right on the front, really making me feel good about my decision. Turns out, those are pretty much just as bad as the aforementioned yogurts, sometimes worse! GAH! .

I was tricked by situations like this CONSTANTLY. And seriously, the only way around it is to read the labels. The actual nutrition label, and ingredient list is THE only way to know what you’re truly eating. We are constantly tricked into sugar/chemicals disguised as “healthy” items due to clever marketing and packaging. General rule for life, if it has more than 9g of sugar per serving, it’s candy. .

With the help of my current nutrition “program” I’ve learned so much about labeling and the science of food. This non-fat Greek yogurt has 5g of natural sugars, I added REAL fruit on top, and drizzled just a little bit of honey, because I may be watching sugars, but I still like a little natural sweetness! This is even BETTER than ANY “health” yogurt I’ve had and it is fueling my body with protein, fiber, calcium, and NOT sugar aka fat. And to top it off, this serving size is WAY bigger than those pre-made cups of yogurt, so I actually feel satisfied with what I just ate. .

Kale salad
Roast in oven at 200 degrees: Parsnip, carrots and cauliflower with olive oil until golden. Massage raw kale with olive oil. Toss some cooked chickpeas with a pinch of saffron and roast in oven until golden.
Toss everything together with some pecans and pomegranate. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
12 oz. tilapia fillets, fresh or thawed*
2 tsp. avocado oil
1 1/2 tsp. blackened seasoning (my recipe is #ontheblog)*
6 small corn tortillas*
1 1/2 cup purple cabbage, shredded
6 tbsp. fresh cilantro
3 oz. cotija cheese, crumbled*
Lime wedges
Avocado crema:
1 medium avocado
1/4 cup plain yogurt (can use dairy-free)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tbsp. fresh cilantro
Dash of hot pepper sauce (optional)
Water as needed to thin sauce

Las barritas comerciales no son saludables? 👀 Esas de paquete verde, light, bueno, digamos que no son la mejor opción! 👎🏻Por que⁉ Entre sus ingredientes encontramos azúcares (con diferentes nombres pero azúcar en fin), aditivos, conservantes, poca fibra y proteínas (o nulas😬) en resumen: poco nutriente, por eso las comes y enseguida tenés un hambre tremenda! Pero tengo una buena noticia 🤚🏻 Hacerlas vos mismo es facilísimo, las podés tener como variante en tus desayunos-meriendas, y hasta como colación saludable de bolsillo 😉 Si, son súper transportables! Quién se anima a hacerlas? 😊
🌰Barritas caseras
🌰Ingredientes: (8 unidades) 1 taza de copos de maíz sin azúcar, 1 taza de avena arrollada, 4 cdas de coco rallado, 4 cdas de mix de semillas, 2 cdas de miel, 1 huevo y una clara, 100 gr de mix de frutas secas y pasas de uva.
🌰Procedimiento: Mezclar huevo, clara, y miel, agregar el resto de los ingredientes (picar las frutas secas) pisando con tenedor, integrando bien todos los ingredientes hasta que se forme una pasta heterogénea pero integrados sus componentes. Tomar una placa para horno y forrarla con papel aluminio/manteca. Colocarle rocío vegetal. Colocar la preparación sobre la misma en forma rectangular, apisonando bien para que quede compacto y no se rompa luego. Cocinar a horno moderado por 15 minutos aprox o hasta que comience a dorarse. Retirar del horno y dejar enfríar. Cortar en rectángulos.
*Tip: podés reemplazar la avena y copos de maíz por granola sin azúcar en igual cantidad.

I was so embarrassed 😳 to post my picture but I told y'all I was gonna be raw and honest. Im so proud of myself. Will I lose 30lbs within my 31 day challenge? Idk, we'll see. I shared with you all that I lost 13lbs my first week, to give you an idea how effective my regimens have been working for me.. I found a way to lose excessive belly fat by just altering a few things, even if you work 9 to 5. I complete most of my regimen at work. When i get home i workout or snack and prepare for bed. I don't eat after 6pm, and get plenty of sleep💤.
Thanks for letting me expose myself and walking through this journey with me because it was a tough start. This is my first time working out & eating healthy 🌿 since my son who is now 7 months. 🤦🏾 . However, faith & consistency has made this process easier. I think I may get an iPhone to expand my journey more effectively.lol 😆. But until then enjoy this Samsung Galaxy🎉. Tootles.

BBQ Chicken Tostadas 😍 Definitely my favorite recipe in awhile!! This is a great recipe if you’ve got a significant other who doesn’t always eat the same as you 👌🏻 -
I added sweet baby rays to Eli’s and @primalkitchenfoods bbq sauce to mine. I used a simple homemade cashew cheese sauce on mine (seriously could drink this stuff) and just regular provolone on Eli’s. One thing I’ve learned cooking for both of us is that it’s all about compromise and you can’t/ shouldn’t try to make people eat things they don’t want to eat 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s a touchy subject but just being honest over here. So sometimes I make a meal two slightly different ways and it works for us 😁 Do you guys eat the same/differently from your partner? -

#recipe details 👉🏻 Shredded BBQ Chicken:
This recipe made 4 tostadas + leftovers!
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once it’s hot, add olive oil then add 3 chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook for 7 minutes on each side. Check the internal temp to make sure they’re done!
Remove, add to a bowl, shred with two forks. What I did was split it in half and added some to another bowl. Coated each with 1/2 cup of the bbq sauce we like or if you’re doing the same you need 1 cup total.
For the tostadas, I used @sietefoods grain free tortillas.
Toasted in the oven at 350 with a little olive oil rubbed on each side (gets them super crispy!!) for 4 minutes.
Removed and added the bbq chicken + cheese to Eli’s.
Baked another 6 minutes.
I made my cashew cheese sauce for another recipe so I added it here. -

Cashew Cheese Sauce:
1 cup soaked cashews (soak for at least 4 hours- overnight)
1 cup water
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
Combine everything in a food processor and purée.
Store in the fridge and reheat when you want to eat!
Enjoy and remember- everyone is different and that’s 10000% okay 💯 #paleo #paleofood #choosingbalance

I like making overnight oats because it seriously is the easiest grab and go breakfast ever 🙌🏻 You can grab the jar out of the fridge and eat it in the car if needed 👌🏻I added @lifewaykefir plain plantiful into these which gives it the best texture ever! I like adding some to my oats or I’ll drink a glass in the afternoon for a snack that’s packed with protein + probiotics and this one is vegan 🌱 They have so many tasty flavors but I went with the plain to limit the sugar in this recipe. Gotta keep that gut healthy! -

Makes 2 servings
1 1/2 cups gluten free rolled oats
1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup @lifewaykefir Plantiful probiotic drink
1 1/2-2 tsp maple syrup
3/4  cup chopped strawberries
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp nut butter
Instructions:
Chop your strawberries as small as you want. 
In a jar that has a lid,  add the oats, almond milk, only 1/4 cup of the Plantiful drink- save the other 1/4 for the next morning, maple syrup, strawberries, chia seeds, and nut butter.
Put the lid on and shake everything up. 
Place in the fridge for 2 hours at least up to overnight. 
When you remove, shake up again, add 1/4 cup of Plantiful to make it super creamy, stir in, and enjoy with some more nut butter on top, granola, whatever sounds good! #probiotics #guthealth #choosingbalance

I like making overnight oats because it seriously is the easiest grab and go breakfast ever 🙌🏻 You can grab the jar out of the fridge and eat it in the car if needed 👌🏻I added @lifewaykefir plain plantiful into these which gives it the best texture ever! I like adding some to my oats or I’ll drink a glass in the afternoon for a snack that’s packed with protein + probiotics and this one is vegan 🌱 They have so many tasty flavors but I went with the plain to limit the sugar in this recipe. Gotta keep that gut healthy! -

#recipe details 👉🏻
Makes 2 servings 
1 1/2 cups gluten free rolled oats
1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup @lifewaykefir Plantiful probiotic drink
1 1/2-2 tsp maple syrup
3/4  cup chopped strawberries
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp nut butter
Instructions: 
Chop your strawberries as small as you want. 
In a jar that has a lid,  add the oats, almond milk, only 1/4 cup of the Plantiful drink- save the other 1/4 for the next morning, maple syrup, strawberries, chia seeds, and nut butter.
Put the lid on and shake everything up. 
Place in the fridge for 2 hours at least up to overnight. 
When you remove, shake up again, add 1/4 cup of Plantiful to make it super creamy, stir in, and enjoy with some more nut butter on top, granola, whatever sounds good! #probiotics #guthealth #choosingbalance

a simple, easy, basically no brain dinner. sometimes all we need is a meal that takes 20 min or less and this tasty peanut stir fry is it 🤩 stir fried veg and tofu tossed in a simple peanut sauce topped with chopped peanuts on a bed of brown rice. recipe details below!

peanut sauce:
• 1 heaping tbsp creamy peanut butter
• 1 tbsp rice vinegar
• 2 tbsp tamari
• 2 tsp sesame oil
• 1 tsp maple syrup

stir fry veggies of choice until tender. add in baked (or in my case pre made) tofu. add sauce and toss to combine. Serve over brown rice and top with toasted peanuts and a squeeze of lime juice.

Want a super easy pesto sauce that’s also #nutfree? This kale pesto sauce will do the trick.
Normally when I create something for fun I don’t measure everything. So here is how to make this easy kale pesto!
1 handful of kale
1 handful of basil
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1 clove of garlic
Salt & pepper
Combine everything in a food processor or high speed blender and gradually add olive oil until smooth. I hope you all have an amazing day!

Plantains are BACK for me 🙌 and it’s just like old times ❤️❤️ have you tried my Whole30 beef bacon veggie bowls with plantains? One of my fave quick and easy meals!
Seasoned ground beef is cooked with savory bacon and lots of veggies, then topped with perfectly fried sweet plantains and chipotle ranch sauce. Ready in 20 minutes and great for lunch or dinner!! Recipe link is in my bio 😄
