SP QUICHE 😋

That’s a few lunches sorted this week! Completely SP as base is made out of swede. I just pulled the swede and cut across the width chopping into discs. I par boiled the swede once it was chopped up & then lay across the bottom of my dish & then cutting half discs for around the side of the dish I sprayed. With @frylighthq popped in the oven for 10 on 180 to begin to brown first before adding my filling.
I chopped a courgette, Cherry tomatoes, spring onion and grated and chopped some carrot mixed with three eggs and half a tub of fat free natural cottage cheese. .

Hoy un experimento basado en una receta que he leído. La verdad que no recuerdo en qué página la he visto. Me he quedado con algunos de los ingredientes y ya está.
Creo que la receta se llamaba algo así como... "gorditos de garbanzo"??? 🤔
Me parece que es un plato típico de algún país sudamericano.
No es la receta original, he cambiado algunas cosas, pero ha quedado muy bueno 😊

Bocaditos de garbanzo y queso:
.
🥕 1 bote grande de garbanzos lavados y escurridos (500 gr).
🥕 3 huevos.
🥕 1 puñado de queso parmesano (o el que prefieras).
🥕 1 c.p. de tajín.
🥕 Comino y cilantro en polvo (al gusto).
🥕 Ajo granulado (al gusto).
🥕 Cebollino.
.
👩‍🍳 Poner en un bol los garbanzos y el resto de ingredientes, excepto el cebollino, y triturar.
👩‍🍳 Añadir el cebollino y remover bien.
👩‍🍳 Formar los bocaditos y colocarlos en una bandeja de horno sobre papel vegetal.
👩‍🍳 Meter en el horno precalentado a 180°C y hornear unos 20-25 minutos.
👩‍🍳 Sacar del horno y a comer!!! 🤗

I looked up how to spell this too many times... but our friends made a delicious ciopinno last night.

Ciopinno= seafood stew, in case you are wondering.
Our friend behind this magic rarely uses a recipe, but her method is as follows:

Start by sautéing chopped onions, celery, carrots, and garlic. Season generously with herbs and salt and pepper. Then, add two cans of crushed tomatoes and a couple cups of white wine and a cup or two of stock... and some clam juice. Let simmer for 30 minutes. Follow with seafood of your choice, and let it simmer until the seafood is cooked through. This one has salmon, halibut, scallops, and shrimp.
This was on the stove for an hour or so total before we ate. That’s my best shot at how this deliciousness was made. A quick Google search yielded tons of recipes to try, so go that route if you want something more exact 😉 the flavor is incredible.

When traveling, I get to enjoy both of these things: socializing with the people I meet and feeling a part of the community I’m visiting as well as the community of fellow travelers. ⁣

I find that, especially when going to far-flung places, fellow travelers are more prone to engaging. I often end up chatting with complete strangers, hearing their life stories, and even sharing a meal with my new friends! ⁣

This is equally the case with the locals - the more open I am, the more likely they are to engage with me and open up their hospitality.⁣

I bring these up because this sense of community brings joy and a sense of belonging, both of which reduce our levels of stress, thereby increasing our health! (We all know that stress is bad but, if you want to know more about it, I invite you to watch my new Masterclass in which I discuss). ⁣

It’s no wonder, then, that cultures with a greater sense of community live longer - it’s science!⁣

This Japanese omelette nigiri was a nice alternative to fish. The egg was slightly sweet which complemented the sticky sushi rice perfectly! I really enjoyed this and recommend it especially for those trying a meat free diet this January. 🍳 🍣

On me demande souvent ce que je prends pour mes collations. Exemple aujourd’hui donc avec ces deux parts de banana bread vegan sans sucre ajouté fait maison 😍😋 (recette déjà sur mon blog). Délicieux, sain, et surtout loin des goûters ultra transformés (mon fils goûte pareil et il adore 😉). Vous voulez voir plus souvent mes goûters/collations ? [ 🥞 Crêpes // choco & caramel 🥞 ]

À l'approche de la chandeleur, j'ai profité de ce week-end pour réaliser de belles crêpes. J'ai pour cela suivi la recette proposée par @megandcook et @bonnemaman_fr et le résultat est parfait 🤤 Avec du caramel ou du chocolat et quelques éclats de cacahuètes, régalade assurée !

Ingrédients :
- 250g de farine
- 1 pincée de sel
- 2 CàS de sucre
- 3 œufs
- 50cl de lait
- 50g de beurre fondu

Préparation :
Mélanger la farine, le sel, le sucre et les œufs. Ajouter petit à petit le lait et mélanger afin d'éviter la formation de grumeaux. Incorporer le beurre fondu. Réserver l'appareil au réfrigérateur pendant 1 heure minimum.
Faire chauffer une poêle légèrement beurrée et verser une louche de préparation. Cuire les crêpes et réserver. Servir nature ou avec le topping de votre choix. Bon app !

VEGAN cinnamon roll dessert bars that are lower in sugar, soft + scrumptious and made with real ingredients. it just can’t get better than that ♥️✨ runnnn to the kitchen 😘
in a bowl, mix
3 cups almond flour
1/3 cup creamy almond butter
1.5 tbsp cinnamon
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/3 cup almond milk
1 tsp baking powder
spread out in an 8x8 baking pan and bake at 375 for about 23 min!
cream cheese frosting
1/2 cup vegan cream cheese of choice
2 tsp maple syrup
top and enjoy!
