3 slices multigrain bread
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
4 tsp cinnamon
4 tsp brown sugar
1 tbsp maple bourbon syrup
2 apples, cored + diced
3 tbsp caramel syrup
1/2 cup whip cream

melt butter in a pan on medium heat. in a bowl, combine egg, milk, 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1 tsp of brown sugar, and maple bourbon syrup. whisk until all is well combined. 👉🏼 let the bread soak in the bowl for 1 minute before adding to the pan. cook on each side until golden brown, then set aside on a plate. 👉🏼 meanwhile in a separate pan, melt remaining 2 tbsp butter on medium heat. add apples, and let cook 4-5 minutes. add the remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, and caramel syrup. cook for another 2-3 minutes, until syrup reaches a nice consistency. 👉🏼 serve toast with apples, whip cream and drizzle with caramel sauce left in the pan. enjoy!

Wild Rice Salad with Butternut Squash, Cranberries & Mint (& a punchy lime vinaigrette.) The original recipe calls for dried tart cherries which I swapped out but pomegranate arils would be welcomed too. I used to make a version of this back in the 90’s & brought it to many a pot luck!👌🏻It’s the kind of salad that you can eat all week & not tire of it. 😋 Thanks for the salad inspiration @amandahaascooks !

BEST CROCKPOT MEAL PREP CREATION!! This shredded Mexican chicken can be served so many ways. I made it at the beginning of the week and we ate it 3 times: Once over rice, once in tacos, and once on nachos. You only have to cook once and you can get a few fun meals out of it!

Place chicken breast (I used 3 large ones), 1-2 cans black beans (rinsed), 1-2 cans corn (rinsed), 1 diced onion, 1 jar of salsa, and taco seasoning in the crockpot. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. The chicken shreds so easy!!
.
Serve this over rice, spaghetti squash, on tacos, with nachos, etc... pair with avo, cabbage, extra salsa, lime, shredded cheddar, cilantro, etc!! OR just eat it as-is!!

If you know me, you know I positively adore @inagarten and often not a day goes by without me making something of hers. Today it is an adaptation of her Buttermilk Cheddar Biscuits to which I added dill. Pair them with bacon, eggs and beans and you have a winner breakfast
:
Buttermilk Cheddar Dill Scones with Bacon, Eggs and White Beans
:

Adapted slightly from @inagarten
2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more as needed
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, diced
1/2 cup cold buttermilk, shaken
1 cold extra-large egg
1 cup grated extra-sharp Cheddar
3 tbls chopped fresh dill
1 egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water or milk
Maldon sea salt, optional

Preheat the oven to 425F.
Place 2 cups of flour, the baking powder, and salt in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. With the mixer on low, add the butter and mix until the butter is the size of peas.
Combine the buttermilk and egg in a small measuring cup and beat lightly with a fork. With the mixer still on low, quickly add the buttermilk mixture to the flour mixture and mix only until moistened. In a small bowl, mix the Cheddar with small handful of flour and, with the mixer still on low, add the cheese and the dill to the dough. Mix only until roughly combined.
Dump out onto a well-floured board and knead lightly about 6 times. Roll the dough out to a rectangle 10 by 5 inches. With a sharp, floured knife, cut the dough lengthwise in half and then across in quarters, making 8 rough rectangles. Transfer to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the egg wash, sprinkle with salt, if using, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the tops are browned and the biscuits are cooked through. Serve hot or warm.

Jeśli zostało Wam z obiadu trochę ryby smażonej lub pieczonej to jest dobra alternatywa do wykorzystania jej.

Zalewa 2 szklanki wody pieprz, ziele angielskie, sól, liść laurowy koncentrat 200 g 1/2 szklanki oleju 3 łyżki octu 2 łyżki cukru

Warzywa 3 cebule 0,5 l słoik ogórków koncerowych 0,5 l słoik papryki konserwowej 1- 1,5 kg ryby. Dorsz lub miruna lub inna

Przygotowanie

Rybę pokroić na kawałki, obtoczyć w jajku i mące. Usmażyć.
Cebulę pokroić w póra i spażyć. Ogórki konserowe kroimy w plasterki około 3 mm grubości,a paprykę na kawałki około 2 cm.
Wszystkie składniki zalewy umieszczamy w rondlu i zagotowujemy.

Many of us are trying to eat a more plant based diet, to improve our health and cholesterol numbers. When doing this, we need to be mindful about consuming vegetables and grains that have a substantial amount of protein per serving.
Here are a few plant based high protein sources:

Soy beans, also known as Edamame, are a great source of vegetable protein. They have 15 grams of protein per half cup.
Quinoa is also a great choice because it is considered a complete protein all by itself. It has all 9 essential amino acids. This is very uncommon in plant based sources of protein. Usually you must combine 2 plant based protein sources to make a complete protein. Your muscles need enough of all 9 amino acids to grow. A cup of cooked qinuoa has 8 grams of protein, and about 220 calories.
If you are eating less meat these days, eat more protein focused veggies and grains, like the ones mentioned here, to get all the protein your muscles need.

Step
* Prepare ingredients
* Cut the sausage according to taste. grated cheese. Set aside.
* Rebus makaroni sampai matang, tiriskan. sisihkan.
* Boil 1 pack Powder cream soup and water according to the packaging (650ml)
* Add a grated cheese and taste the powder cheese until the color is not too pale, stir until the grated cheese melts.
* After boiling insert macaroni and sausage, cook until thickened.
* After thickened serve and garnish with sprinkles of oregano on it (if you have any).

. 30 gr di farina d'avena io choco_cocco @prozisitalia (in alternativa 30 avena +5 cacao) . 5 gr di farina di cocco
. 100 ml di albumi . 50 gr di purea di mele . 3 gr di cacao amaro . Dolcificante . Idrolitina più acqua per la lievitazione
4' al microonde massima potenza mettendo insieme una tazza con poca acqua, aiuterà a non seccare la vostra MUG.
Decorato con salsa al cacao e mirtilli freschi

whipped up some classic avocado toast for lunch yesterday and was very happy that i decided to do so 👏🏻🥑🔥 i always buy a couple of avocados at the beginning of the week, knowing that i can use them for salads, toast, to top savory bowls, and apparently to even make frosting - they are a key staple in my house!! 🥑🥑 i also always keep the TJs rustico or WF seduction bread in my freezer so i can pull out two slices whenever i need it 🍞 makes busy day lunches super easy. hope everyone has a fabulous thursday!! ♥️♥️♥️
