Who would have thought that I was going to be doing this.... I can tell you that exercising or weights were #never something I was passionate about and now look at me learning and getting stronger. 🏋🏼‍♀️ -I started dancing 💃🏻 then zumba then boot camp and now personal training .

Today was intense and I was dead after but I did it !!!! #workout ✅ .

I can check the flu off my list this year(hopefully). After 48+ hours of not working out for the first time this year - Pat and I finally started feeling better and was able to go outside. It was so nice out so we took @lildoodleharbor for a hike on a nature trail and then on a 5 mile walk to the point and back! It felt so good to finally be exercising and getting some (much needed) vitamin D! This morning I traveled to California for work and got to my hotel around 10pm EST. I had been stuck on a plane all day so I needed to burn some calories. I headed to the gym and was able to get in 2 20 min rides on a peloton bike! I’m obsessed y’all! It was my first time trying one and it was so much fun!
I have a long week ahead but determined to stay on east coast time and go to the gym every morning! I’ve already talked to my co worker I’m traveling with and told her to bring her tennis shoes! Here’s to holding me accountable each day! I hope everyone has a great week! •

Telling you was one of the biggest mistakes I felt after losing my pregnancy.

How will I face you and explain you will not be a big sister anymore. You used to talk about how you would help and how this was your baby too. The day I was taken to the hospital you were concerned...are you okay mommy? Is the baby okay? I said, I don't know but I hope we are okay

For days, I wanted to tell you that I was no longer pregnant, but how can I tell a 3 year old that? As she was cuddling one night, I started crying, she said, mommy why are you crying? Is it the baby? Yes I said. I am so sorry Gretta but mommy is not having a baby anymore. Why she said, did the baby died? Yes honey that's why mommy is crying. She hugged me so tightly and said, I am sad too mommy.

Today, I am glad that I told her. She understood in her own little way. That day we cried together. I no longer feel that I made a mistake by telling her. She was empathic and supportive. Sometimes children surprise us, sometimes we think they might not understand, but she did and I love her for the love in which she cared for me and gave me strength. .

Took advantage of the gym in the hotel while being in Vegas! Definitely wasn’t expecting anything going in yet I came out with a massive pump🔥 Had little to no equipment but still made the best out of my leg day this afternoon👍🏼

Happy #selflovesunday everyone! Although I’m stuck in bed on this sunny and somewhat warmer day, I hope all of you are taking advantage of this weather. Going outside and being active/getting vitamin D is so important for our mental health. I find throwing my headphones on and walking for 30 minutes therapeutic.
As much as I love relaxing for self care, I’m going a little stir crazy lol and actually looking forward to getting back to the gym. Right now I’m not able to eat a whole lot but plan on stopping by @greencarrotjuiceco to get some goodness into my body.
