Don’t think I’m gonna reach my goal for the month, wanted to be 250. I definitely didn’t put on this weight overnight so I’m not going to loose it that way. 70 pounds is a lot in a year overall and I will not stop!!!! After almost 6 months of mastering the importance of going to the gym I am finally reeling in my eating and mastering eating clean and it showed on the scale today. Some people phyically aren't able to work out and move so easily, so be grateful you can!)

16 days between the left column and the right column. I still weigh around the same weight but I see a difference and that’s my motivation. I was very unmotivated at the beginning of this week so I didn’t go to the gym over the weekend or on Monday but I went yesterday and plan to go the rest of the week. I keep telling myself that I have to do this for myself and so that I can confidently take pictures for my upcoming bachelorette party, wedding, and honeymoon! I wouldn’t want to look back at pictures or WORSE refuse to take pictures because I hate the way I look. That’s what keeps me going.

Actually having a good body day. Crazy what a new workout shirt can do 😅 I hadn’t planned on going to the gym but I made myself and I’m glad I’m here now. Doing a good chest day and tomorrow I’ll end with a back/abs day. Right now I’ve decided to focus on working out and stopping eating before I’ve finished everything on my plate. My parents were always huge on clearing your plate before you could leave the table and it’s fucked me up because I have a hard time throwing away food even if I’m full. Progress not perfection, I’ll get there and I won’t burn myself out this time. #fattofit #fitness #girlswholift #weightloss #weightlossjourney #2020goals

This outfit is an #NSV for sure. I never would have worn a sheer top before. I just wasn't brave enough to. Those tops wouldn't let me hide under them. I always wanted to wear a cami under my shirts. Even now, it is rare that I don't. But I'm going to do it today! I'm going to step out of my comfort zone because gash dangit I've earned this. 💪

40 INCHES. That is the length of the measuring tape I'm holding in the picture on the right. That is also how many inches of fat I have lost off my body, that I know of! I didn't even take measurements until after losing 7 pounds the first week. That was the moment I realized it might actually happen this time. Some areas I didn't measure because I felt like I could never hit the exact same spot twice, and I didn't want inaccurate measurements. 40 INCHES! That is over 3 FEET of fat gone. Over 3 FEET less for my heart to work hard pumping blood across. It blows my mind. Inches lost:

Waist 10
Chest/back 12
Above knee 2.5
Below knee 2
Forearm 1
Neck 2.5
Wrist 0.5
Hips 9.5

My husband raved about how good this Chicken Carbonara was!!! Another simple and delicious low carb recipe!!!

Ingredients

* 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)
* ½ tsp garlic powder
* salt and pepper to taste
* 6 slices cooked bacon (crumbled)
* 1 tbsp bacon grease
* ½ cup onion chopped
* 2 tsp minced garlic
* 1 cup heavy whipping cream
* 1 cup chicken broth
* 1 beaten egg (optional)
* ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
* 1 tsp Italian seasoning
* 1 tbsp fresh chopped basil
* 2-3 cups fresh spinach
•
Instructions
* Cook the bacon until crispy and then crumble into pieces.
* Place 1 tbsp of the bacon grease in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
* Add the chicken to the skillet and sprinkle with the garlic powder as well as salt and pepper to taste. Continue to saute the chicken until it is completely cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
* In the same skillet, at the ½ cup of chopped onion and saute for a few minutes until they start to become tender.
* Add in the minced garlic, and saute for another 30 seconds.
* Whisk in the heavy whipping cream and the chicken broth, scraping the bits off the bottom of the skillet. * OPTIONAL: Put the beaten egg in a small bowl. Slowly stream the sauce into the egg while whisking it vigorously. Once half of the sauce has been incorporated slowly add the egg mixture back to the skillet while whisking.
* Mix in the parmesan cheese, chopped basil and Italian seasoning.
* Toss in the crumbled bacon, and 2-3 cups of fresh spinach. Cook until the spinach has begun to wilt.
* Add the chicken back into the skillet, and toss to coat in the sauce. Sprinkle in additional salt and pepper to taste.
* Simmer the mixture for 3-5 minutes longer, and serve.

So my niece’s second birthday was a few weeks ago, and I had wanted to post this comparison then but I couldn’t find the shirt 😂 I finally did so we’re gonna go with it now for #waybackwednesday! I have no idea what I weighed at that point as I hadn’t made health and wellness a priority yet, but I was so excited to be wearing this shirt for the first time because I had just become “Aunt Jessie!” My body has changed a lot over the last two years, and the love and adoration I have for my niece has only grown since then 💜 Aunt Jessie is still one of my most favorite roles! So my niece’s second birthday was a few weeks ago, and I had wanted to post this comparison then but I couldn’t find the shirt 😂 I finally did so we’re gonna go with it now for #waybackwednesday! I have no idea what I weighed at that point as I hadn’t made health and wellness a priority yet, but I was so excited to be wearing this shirt for the first time because I had just become “Aunt Jessie!” My body has changed a lot over the last two years, and the love and adoration I have for my niece has only grown since then 💜 Aunt Jessie is still one of my most favorite roles! And now, I can keep up with a crazy little two year old more than I ever would have been able to before. That’s a #NSV that I’m okay bragging about!

Jetzt bin ich seit gestern Mittag eigentlich nur am Schlafen und werd gar nicht richtig wach, aber Schmerzen und Schwindel sind weg. Magen grummelt noch etwas, aber auch da wirds besser.

Bin bestimmt morgen wieder einigermaßen fit 💪🏼😊 aber Training gestern Morgen war gut, abgesehen vom Puls, der etwas höher war als normal. Also ein weiteres Warnsignal.

Schon krass, was einem der Körper alles sagt, wenn man sich die Mühe macht, ihn zu spüren und zu pflegen.
Ich hab es mir am Sonntagnachmittag ja schon fast gedacht, als der Lymphknoten zusammen geschwollen ist und morgens der Schwindel auftauchte, nachm Training aber weg war.
Und gestern war es dann wohl zu viel. Na es hätte auch gut gehen können.

Wie ist es bei euch? Könnt ihr es schon Tage vorher spüren, wenn was im Anmarsch ist?

The top 3 questions I’ve gotten since announcing my pregnancy: ⁣⁣

⁣So I thought I’d take some time tonight to address these questions☺️⁣

1. NO - I am not scared of gaining weight .. and let me tell you why. Since I reached my initial goal weight near the end of 2018 I have never ONCE worried about gaining the weight back. I have never once been concerned I would “slip back in to old habits”. Sure I spent 2018 focusing on “weightloss”.. but not just the physical.. but mental and emotional as well. I journaled, I talked through my feelings, I challenged myself to make sure my mind was strong, I did everything in a repetitive fashion to solidify my new habits. Not only that BUT .. I lost 120lbs in 10 months following a simple yet amazing plan that is now the guideline for my everyday diet, with a support team like no other @21daymealplan #mealplanbabes .. I will be WELL equipped to continue my post partum journey when that time comes 💕 ⁣⁣

2. Tummy tuck: first things first - YES having a baby post tummy tuck is completely safe💛! I can’t tell you what will “happen” to it post partum or how my skin will respond ... but I can tell you that I’m in the best shape of my life. I started my last pregnancy at 260lbs so physically and mentally I am in a much healthier place.. which is my focus for now ☺️⁣⁣

3. To be honest I don’t know why I’m getting this question so much 🤷🏽‍♀️ maybe because pregnancy often comes with cravings ? Either way I will continue to eat how I always do .. and when cravings strike I will eat .. much like I do now 😂. I think one of the most common misconceptions about pregnancy and eating is that you’re “eating for 2” this is false.. and probably why I was over 300 pounds when giving birth to both girls. The 1st trimester it is not necessary to add any additional calories, 2nd trimester 350 or so, and 3rd 450 or so. So basically I’ll continue to eat intuitively and add a couple snacks to my day to day as time goes on.⁣⁣

This body has shocked me so much the past 2 years. It is strong and I know it will carry me through💪🏾❤️

I can’t tell you how much I was plagued by the opinions of others or even conjured you thoughts in my life. I was more concerned about what everyone else thought about me for me to even realize that the only one that mattered was ME. I needed to love myself and realize that no matter what happened, time would pass anyway.. so why not make the most of it. My health was spiraling downward, and it took a near heart attack to occur before I finally said YES to working on ME. While the transformation on the outside is amazing, what transformed inside is even more remarkable.
It wasn’t until I started pushing against my people-pleasing habits that I started to feel the most alive and MYSELF I’ve felt in YEARS.  You never know what gift you’ve got masked inside that you need to share with the world. ✨❤️️

I didn’t start this journey with an end goal weight. I started it with a goal to be healthy mentally and physically.

I wasn’t in a hurry to be “skinny” all I wanted was to feel confident in my own skin.

It’s been a process and a lot of hard work but I can honestly say I love myself and life can only get better from here ❤️

Completely forgot that it was 3 months post-op on Sunday just gone!
Time flies eh?
Nothing new to report, mobility 100% fully back.
Not needing compression anymore unless I’ve had a particularly salty day of food - but I’m currently consuming 4-5ltrs of water a day so no problems.
Still super weird I have no armpit hair or armpit sweat glands 😂😂.

Just growing my baby guns again - they’re coming through nicely.
Scars are healing nicely - they do turn red when I’ve either had a shower, exercised or drunk alcohol - but that happens with all of my scars in general.
Just using a @lush therapy bar on it and that’s it.
I’ll get both scars covered and the rest of my tattoo sleeves completed come 30th birthday. T-minus 6 months 😱.

I was SOOO excited when I lost those first 17 pounds! I remember taking these first set of weight loss pictures and feeling like a total babe. Look at me now! I'm so happy I stuck with it. Through Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now I'm starting off 2020 a full 44 pounds lighter than I was starting on September 3!⁠⠀ Highest Weight: 255 lbs⁠⠀ Starting Weight: 238 lbs⁠⠀ Current Weight: 194 lbs⁠⠀ Height: 5'9"⁠⠀ Gals. I AM YOU. I know how it seems like there isn't enough time to take care of the kids, your husband, your house, your job, let alone yourself. But there is! Add yourself to your to do list. Grocery shop, make healthy meals, exercise a little bit and the weight WILL come off. Bonus? You'll have an insane amount of energy, feel great, have the most self pride, and be a better mom and wife because of it.⁠
