I am not perfect, but I stick to my workouts! It is more important for me now than ever as I navigate a new job, new home...basically a whole new life once again!
It is a chance for me to release the negative, stress, anxiety so that I can be a better friend, sister, daughter, girlfriend, co-worker!

The thing I miss the most, besides friends, after leaving Phillips is teaching my class and sharing my knowledge and love of fitness! I hope to be able to find that here!

Ok yesterday’s session got slightly out of hand 😅 but then again it’s all about #fitandfun
I mean, it was a combo of Strength training 💪🏾➕ African dance 💃🏾 for cardio & strength ➕ stretching 🙆🏾‍♀️ for cool down = total body 🏋🏽‍♀️! All smiles 😊 and sweat 💦 and breathlessness 🥵was so fulfilling to see. Thanks ladies for your contagious amazing energy, i got a workout as well. Great job you fit mamas 👌🏾💯
Oh, and another thing: music 🎶 is more than soul food ✨ .

Morning Tableyoga 😃😃❤ Versuche jeden Tag etwas aktiv zu sein
Etwas dehnen und etwas Sport schadet nie 💃. Natürlich habe ich auch Tage wo es mir schwer fällt aktiv zu sein und ich am liebsten nur auf der Couch liege. Doch dann packe ich meine kleine süße Meggy Maus und mache einen großen Spaziergang. Kinder halten einen sowieso fit 🏋🏃😃. Aber komischerweise habe ich umso mehr Energie wenn ich morgends direkt ein schönes Workout erledige ✔❤. Da muss man einfach seinen inneren Schweinehund🐖🐶 überwinden.

Just think about the number of coffee shops on each street corner, I think we can be reasonably sure that they along with caffeinated drinks such as coffee and tea are here to stay, and ok many of us enjoy them

Good Morning! ☀️We are still here!
On my way to the gym cause if i don't keep exercising my fitness level begins to go in reverse and that doesn't look or feel great so.... Keep Moving!
This is a fun exercise to work your core muscles and trim the waistline.
Here i am focusing on keeping my stomach muscles tight & keep my hips from rocking forward and backward ( to protect my lower back)- so keep hips in as neutral position as possible to let my abs do all the work👍🏽
And making sure to simultaneously breathe throughout the movement- i do that by counting out loud😊

Sleep is super important. It is the time during the day where our body recovers and restores our energy for the next day. 🤸‍♂️When we sleep, our ‘rest and digest’ nervous system gets to work and allows tissue healing and our body’s digestion to take place. This process restores our energy levels and hormone balance within our body, and when our hormones are balanced, our mood, brain functioning, social interactions, libido and physical capabilities improve. 😄

If we don’t get enough sleep excess cortisol (our stress hormone) is released which makes our body more alert and awake, making it even harder to sleep. 🌚 When we run on little sleep our body also fails to release adequate amounts of insulin (our sugar control hormone) which decreases sugar digestion and causes weight gain. Our hormones too lack balance which can decrease our immune system function and cause mood changes. Little sleep also reduces our mental clarity and brain functioning which affects our central nervous system as our brain is the decision making organ in this system. Long term and most concerning, lack of sleep can increase blood pressure and increase risk of heart disease. •
It is recommended that we get between 7-9 hours of sleep per night but the amount of sleep everyone needs depends on activity levels and physiological needs. 😴If you’re feeling tired or you are seeing any of the negative effects of sleep deprivation, it might be time to get more sleep!

Erstmal vielen Dank für die Zahlreichen Antworten von Euch auf meine gestrige Story. Ich habe anscheinend einige Leidensgenossen, aber auch ganz neue Tipps und Erfahrungswerte von Euch erhalten. Tatsächlich hatte ich, schon heute Vormittag einen Termin beim Physiotherapeuten. Mir wurden die Triggerpunkte (👉kleine Muskelverkrampfungen )Massiert 🦵🙌🏻, anschließend habe ich eine Art Schröpfmassage bekommen. Ich merke jetzt richtig, dass in der Muskulatur was passiert ist und bin guter Dinge, dass es was bringt ✊.

We have more fun making these videos than I can say. No rehearsals, no scripts, we just go and whatever happens happens, and invariably, I am trying to catch my breath at some point from laughing so hard.

Whether it’s my workouts, my business, or any other part of my life, I want to laugh, I want to have fun, and I want to smile. -
Think of your fitness journey the same way. Strength Training not really your thing? Cool. Find something else. Something that will keep you active, healthy, and something that might even make you smile and laugh along the way.

Work hard while you are there, have a shit ton of fun, and feel like a confident and accomplished badass when you are done, and let THAT translate into all areas of your life.

The most important thing is to not take this whole fitness thing so seriously, Life is way too short not to laugh, smile, feel excited, be happy, and maybe even act a little goofy (even better!). Have fun with whatever you choose to do and crush the shit out of it.

I do.  A lot.  Like a lot a lot.

Finding your passion in life, no matter how old you are, is incredible, but being able to laugh and love every second of it, is taking it to an entirely different level.

It doesn’t get much better than being able to work with @syattfitness and create content for all of our amazing Inner Circle members, AND be able to laugh and carry on while we do it.

Being on this planet for 59 years, I have learned two very important life lessons: Life is way too short:

A) to not love what you do.
B) not to laugh along the way.
