    This one always gets me.

So many times I'd get a good start on my journey and not get that instant gratification of losing weight as quick as I wanted to and I would in turn "fall off the wagon" rather than just keep going.
.
If I kept this thought in my mind 6 months, 12 months, 18 months ago, I can only imagine where I'd be now! But, that's the beauty of it - 6 months, 12 months, 18 months from now I can only imagine where I'll be!!!

    The key to having a successful fitness journey is not just simply going a diet, but changing your entire diet. You have to change the way you eat. For example, instead trying to go without drinking sodas for a month try to gradually wean yourself from drinking them. Eventually you want to get to a point where you no longer crave them; therefore, they are no longer apart of your diet.     You will always reach a fat loss plateau.

Back in my early twenties I always wanted to do things super fast.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I wanted to build muscle and lose fat extremely fast.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remember my first ever cut, all I ate was chicken and a few rice cakes and I was doing an hour of cardio after every workout, training 7 days per week.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All in an attempt to get ripped as fast as possible.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I really didn’t want to hit a fat loss plateau.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But back then that was all I knew and thought this was the right approach.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This approach is the fasted way to lose muscle.

It’s extremely important that you focus on both retaining muscle and losing body fat when you’re in a fat loss phase.

Focusing on a slower rate of fat loss (0.5-1.0% weight per week) as well as trying to retain your strength will help to maintain your muscle mass.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But this will mean that you WILL reach a fat loss plateau.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t worry it’s normal and its a good thing because you don’t want to lose a lot of muscle.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When a plateau happens, just slightly drop your calories or add in some extra cardio.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Keep it simple and focus on being consistent.

    ZASLEPUJÚ NÁS LEN OBRÁZKY, NIE SKUTOČNÉ OSOBNOSTI
Veľa z nás má skreslené pohľady na TOP FORMY ľudí, ktorí sú nám “možno” vzorom (sme schopní jesť dobodky to čo oni, mať takého psa ako oni, také tetovanie, oblečenie, značky, toaletný papier etc.). Avšak tu chcem zdôrazniť a podotknúť, že väčšina týchto fotiek je zhotovených v čase keď sú v súťažnej forme (diéty, odvodňovanie a rôzne iné veci, ktoré tu spomínať nechcem). Týmto nejdem dehonestovať akúkoľvek snahu všetkých súťažiacich atď.! Klobúk dole pred každou hodinou vo fitku👌🏾 Len chcem pomôcť mladým ľuďom, aby neprepadali komplexom, stresu, fóbiám, bulimiam, anorexiam z toho, že nemajú tehličky na bruchu, alebo držia v sebe vodu, alebo nemajú zadok, stehná atď. JE TO PRIRODZENÉ A NORMÁLNE. Prosím najmä tých, ktorí tu ste a makáte v akejkoľvek podobe, neukazujte len svoju "svetlú stránku", ale priznajte aj svoje nedostatky (že ste si dali MC Donald, zmrzlinu, rum, pivo, cigaretu, pizzu, že z iného uhla pod svetlom proste tie tehličky na bruchu nemáte a úplný vrchol je upravovanie fotiek: zužovanie, či rozširovanie podľa potreby-sick 🤦🏽‍♀️). Povedzte o sebe pravdu a neklamte ich ilúziou dokonalosti, ktorá neexistuje. Veľa ľudí, ktorí s cvičením, alebo akýmkoľvek športom začínajú majú potom skreslený pohľad na realitu a o tom, ako má vyzerať ZDRAVÝ ČLOVEK!!!!!!!!!
