Was REALLY hoping for a day off, but I got called in, so I couldn’t get a run in this morning! If you’ve been following me, I’ve been working A LOT the last 2 weeks so I haven’t been able to get a run in! I know it sounds like an excuse, but working with kiddos all day is exhausting! Not to mention coming home to my own! 😏 Always amazed by everything teachers do!!!

Anyway, I had a pretty easy day at work today, so I was feeling a run when I got home! Got 2 miles done!!! 🏃🏻‍♀️ I’m gonna take it as a WIN! 👏🏼 •

Push yourself to the limit. Keep it challenging. Find someone that keeps you going forward and support each other all the way✊❤️

I was never a flexible person 😂 but i stretch every day before workingout. Just being cautious. My wife @__curlywurly is a yoga person and is extremely good at it 😂❤️ unlike me. So today i literally tried that move to see how far i can go with it, and BAAM 😂 Turns out all those simple stretches I've been doing paid off eventually lol.

Long story short, keep in mind that stretching is really important before any physical activity, it helps you get the right form and prevent whatever injuries you might be able to get. People neglect it sometimes but it is very important.

AND WE BACK BOIIIIII. Got my work schedule changed last week (now I’m off Friday’s and Saturday’s 😎) so I had to change my workout day’s to Monday- Thursday. I decided to just take a clean 5 day’s off to hit It hard starting with this new schedule. Bench sets today were easy hit a 3 x 5 at 225 with final rep paused, then my top set were all touch and go which I hit for 6 (could have got more but my back cramped up after 5). Feel like I’ll be able to hit my goal of 10+ reps at 225 soon enough 😎. Then I hit my arm and tricep block, did some weighted dips for the first time in a hot minute which felt great! It’s good to be back 💪🏼 •

Mama needs a new pair of runnin shoes, but let’s make shoe shopping more fun from a goal oriented fitness bing bong’s point of view.

Been working on this 6 miles under 60 minutes thing and I’m feeling really awesome about it. So here’s the deal:

When I get my 6 mile time down to 50 minutes, I will register for my first ever 10K, run it in these beauties as a Marie Kondo style “thank you,” and I will then purchase some fresh feets.

Happy Monday people. So today I decided to join the @1stphorm #transformation challenge again! I did it last fall and was very pleased with my results. I'm a super competitive person, so seeing everyone crush their goals made me want to work harder. It's tough when you don't have a personal trainer or a workout partner all the time. It's easy for things to get a little boring. There is a heavy online presence and plenty of support so it's like having thousands of workout partners. I'm super excited to link up with that community again and get shredded 😂😂😂

The left was my first time in the gym in 2016. And the right picture is 3 years later with hundreds of hours of consistent training 5 -6 days a week. In high school, I was naturally skinny and never went to the gym. Also, I learned how to properly fuel my body with proper nutrition with the @rpstrength diet templates and their new diet app! ⁠

We zijn begonnen met een mooi nieuw trainingsschema waarbij ik voor het eerst wat oefeningen ga proberen middels de BFR (Blood Flow Restriction), occlusion of KAATSU trainingsmethode. Je gebruikt hierbij wraps die je zo hoog mogelijk om je bovenbeen of bovenarm bind. De toestroom van bloed wordt hierdoor belemmerd wat zorgt voor een grotere ophoping van metabole stress. Je traint met zeer licht gewicht en zou dus met een lage trainingsbelasting een hoge trainingsbelasting kunnen nabootsen. Ben benieuwd of het wat zal toevoegen!^
