So many women I chat to tell me they struggle with motivation.

This is common.

The problem with this is, motivation will always come and go.

Have you ever woke up on a Monday feeling motivated then by the end of the day you think to yourself “I couldn’t be bothered right now”? Instead of looking at motivation to get you to where you want to be, look for the reason why you want to get there.

How many times have you looked in the mirror and thought to yourself that’s it I’m going to change, I don’t like the way I look, I’m going to start going to the gym to lose weight, tone up, feel and look bette or for whatever it may be. You then become motivated to change.

But then all of a sudden you stop.

Why?

Because you haven’t found the “why” you wanted to go to the gym.

What’s the main reason you want to go to the gym?
Yes, you want to lose weight, drop 10-20lbs, tone up, get fitter, healthier and stronger. But, why?

We never seem to ask ourselves this question enough sometimes.

There’s usually a deeper reason to why we want to lose weight, tone up. And from experience with working with over 100’s of women it’s because they’re unconfident, not happy with how they currently look, don’t feel comfortable in their clothes and want to become more self-confident, improve how they look and feel, wear clothes that fit better and feel more comfortable in.

When you set a goal, ask yourself - What’s the outcome of this goal? What will achieving this goal do for me?

Now ask yourself - What are you willing to do to achieve that goal?

Your reason should help overcome the struggle of motivation.

Igår stod der interval løb på trænings planen. Derefter besluttede jeg mig for at hoppe direkte i noget indendørs trænings tøj og gå i fitness og få klaret ugens første styrketrænings pas også. Behøver jeg sige jeg var en anelse tilfreds med mig selv bagefter? 😂
Nå men i dag kan jeg så tage en velfortjent hviledag, og så skinner solen bare helt vildt så man får helt lyst til at løbe en tur 🙈 men men, jeg har sovet virkelig elendigt i nat, så jeg tror jeg passer lidt på mig selv i stedet for 🤔🤷‍♀️😉

What were you doing at 12:30 am? After running up and down the street, my son and I were driving around the neighborhood with the windows rolled down and the high beams on looking for this little guy who got out because we left the gate open after putting out the trash cans. We found him frolicking in a lawn a block away and when I pulled over and opened the car door he right right over and jumped inside. Thank god we found him, I don’t know what we’d do without him! It was a horrible 15 minutes, but I guess it gave me a jumpstart on my steps tomorrow.

I just love working our deep abdominals.
But it does require alot of concentration that most us mums just want to blast through a workout instead of thinking constantly. It is incredibly important to wake our TVA muscles up before/during exercise to support us through & begin/maintain our healing for #postnatal plus the demands from motherhood.

🔸Table top legs & tricep ext ( diastisis-recti leave legs down)

Weight training mistakes your making and may not realise !
Now this isn't your fault.
Most of you will watch a You Tube video, go on Instagram to see what exercise these Insta stars are doing. (Bare in mind there paid to click bait you).
Most of these Insta stars arent qualified and naturally have great figures as lots of people do in the 20s. Most of there physique is down to healthy eating.
So lets get to basics, in order to burn more calories which is what most of you are trying to achieve, you need to use your larger muscle groups. Legs and Glutes, Shoulders, Back, Chest.
Now.....in order to move these larger muscle groups you need assisting muscles. The smaller ones, biceps, triceps, certain heads of your shoulder. So don't be wasting your time doing tricep pushdowns, bicep curls, adductor and abductor machines. (the ones where you open your legs and close your legs, the ones I call the Good Girl and Bad Girl machines😉, I'll let you work that one out!)
Instead opt for the big moves, deadlifts, squats, bent over row, single arm row, lat pull downs, Kettlebell swings, power cleans, chest press (machine or barbell), shoulder press (again machine or free weights)
Lift heavy, your muscles need to burn as many calories as possible, this is done by lifting "heavy shit". Yes you can do 25 reps even 50 reps a set but these are different protocols of training. Keep it simple, lift big lift heavy, see how you breathing after doing 10 deadlifts heavy, I will guarantee your blowing out your arse.
Ive seen idiot PTs coaching clients through weight loss programmes spending 30 mins doing a tricep workout. WHY??? you are going to burn more calories performing any of the above exercises. Why target the smallest muscles in the body when you can target the largest. Targeting large muscle groups will illicit a growth hormone response from the body making it more biologically active. More growth hormone means a leaner body and better functioning muscles.
So ditch the small move for the big moves, lift big lift heavy and watch the changes happen to the body.

A na zdjęciu, torebka na pasek. Kiedyś bardzo ale to baaaardzo tego nie rozumiałam i nie podobało mi się to😁🤷🏻‍♀️ a teraz, tak i jeszcze raz tak. Przy dziecku jest to bardzo praktyczne i wygodne rozwiązanie, które polecam wszystkim Mamuśkom♥️ i nie tylko.

Need to CHEAT out some extra reps?
This is an effective way of doing so if you want to grow muscle size. If you want to increase your muscle mass you need to go heavier than what’s comfortable. If you get too tired to finish all reps properly, using other muscles to help you finish will still work your targeted muscle. So which is better? Doing 8 perfect reps OR 8 perfect reps plus 4 reps recruiting other muscles. Certainly the latter. Obviously while being safe and smart about it. Do half reps. Allow your other muscles to assist. When you want to exhaust a muscle this will do the job. .

Day 3 out of 5 this week. Had my doubts about this lowerbody training because I still have so much muscle soreness from Monday. But I did it again.💪 Decided not to doubt but just add more and it went great. The only one I am not so sure off is my deadlift. But I will probably get back to that subject on a later date. Anyway this workout is done again and I hope I can still walk end of the day🙈. ...Somebody waited for me when I had to go down the stairs😳 he thought I would not make it safely down the stairs, that was really kind. When we were downstairs he said have a nice day and then found out I really was not finished training yet💪

The physical changes and growth of my body has been somewhat challenging & feeling self conscious at times and physically uncomfortable is part and parcel. Remembering what I am creating brings me back into shutting off the noise

My pep talk face to myself. If you see my dimples come out in the gym, it’s either because I’m smiling or I’m in pain...or I’m thinking....or I’m talking.... Ok never mind they’re always prominent. ☺️ But the point of all this is, is that 255 pounds for reps was easy peasy. Even still, I never leave that space without giving thanks to my body for its strength. #whatsnext .

When I started this business almost 8 years ago, I was a broke newlywed who saw this Arbonne “thing” as a way to make an extra $500 a month... it was either this or picking up some waitressing shifts again, so I chose Arbonne. Little did I know, that that decision would change not only mine and Brendon’s life but also our 3 little babies. Sometimes you have to do what’s best for your life, and not what TF is best for everybody else. If you feel like giving up, look back and remember how far you’ve come. When life gets harder...challenge yourself to be stronger.
There’s another level out there with your name on it, and you’re gonna piss a lot of people off by doing you and striving for it. Do it anyway. In the end, those that are meant to stay will STAY. Respect yourself enough to know you deserve peace and happiness, and walk away from people or things that hold you back from attaining it or making you doubt it..
