I made these delicious granola bars a few weeks ago and totally forgot to share with you my friends. •


Make these granola for your family get together breakfast or your friends or put in jars and have as a snack. Delicious and healthy! Enjoy!



To make these granola you need the following ingredients: ▶️1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
▶️1 cup old fashioned quick oats
▶️1/2 cup toasted wheat germ
▶️1/2 cup chopped up almonds
▶️1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
▶️3 tbsp unsalted butter
▶️1/3 cup honey
▶️1/3 cup of maple syrup
▶️1/3 cup golden syrup
▶️1 tsp vanilla extract
▶️¼ tsp of salt
▶️1/2 cup dates pitted and chopped
▶️1/2 cup of chopped apricots ▶️1/2 cup dried cranberries
▶️1/2 cup raisins



Mix oats, almonds and coconut on a cookie sheet and put in oven at 350 for about 10-12 minutes to toast a little. Make sure to mix a few times, otherwise they mix will burn. Cool for a minute or two and put in a big bowl to mix with the wet ingredients.



Next, in a small saucepan put butter, honey, golden syrup, maple syrup, and vanilla. Simmer for a minute and add to the bowl with dry ingredients. Add dry fruits and mix well.



Finally, put the mix into 8 x 12 pan and press firmly into the cake pan. Bake in the oven at 300 for 25-30 minutes.



Cool for a couple of hours before cutting into 18 bars. Enjoy with yogurt, fresh berries and a cup of your favorite hot beverage for a healthy and delicious breakfast.

Consistency is key 🔑?

Well for me it is. I’m working out and counting calories/macros for about 3.5 years now. But consistency at the same time doesn’t mean 100% restriction everyday for me.

It means to just let go sometimes and enjoy life - without counting calories and thinking about every single piece of food you eat and how that will affect your body.

Even while counting calories you can enjoy food, that’s the good thing about it. Someone brings cake to work unexpectedly? Good. Eat and enjoy it, track the calories and maybe skip your breakfast for that (or save the calories somewhere else on that day).

If you’re not going to plan to go on stage or have a certain date where you have to be in a certain shape why restrict yourself so much? You are doing this for yourself, so keep a healthy relationship to food. You can have a great body while still enjoying food/life.

Here consistency comes back into play for me, as consistency also means going back to your routine after a day or some planned days off. Without falling off track or hesitation. I love to eat “unhealthy” food sometimes, but I love getting back on track after that just as much!

That’s what consistency is for me. It works perfectly for 3.5 years now. How do you think about it?

Wie wir wissen gehört Eiweiß zu den drei wichtigsten Makronährstoffe und ist hauptverantwortlich für eine Muskelregeneration nach dem Sport und den Aufbau

Doch wann ist der beste Zeitpunkt Proteine aufzunehmen und den Muskelaufbau zu unterstützen oder voranzutreiben

Grundsätzlich gilt es erstmal zu klären, wie viel Eiweiß man braucht.
Laut der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Ernährung benötigt man 0,8 g Eiweiß pro Kilo Körpergewicht, dies ist aber nur der Mindestwert um kein Eiweissmangel zu erfahren.

Wer effektiv Muskeln aufbauen will der sollte seine Eiweißzufuhr auf 2 - 2,5 Gramm pro Kilogramm Körpergewicht hochschrauben und keine Angst das ist für die Nieren kein Problem.

Der Titel sollte nicht und heißen sondern oder heißen😁

Proteine schaden nie! besser geht es zu klären welche Proteine und wann.
2 Std vor dem Training solltest du langarbeitendes Eiweiß zu dir nehmen, das sogenannte Casein.
Kurz vor dem Training kannst du dir BCAA zum Muskelschutz in Form eines Shakes geben. Direkt nach dem Training benötigt der Körper schnelles Eiweiß um den Muskel effektiv zu versorgen, nachdem das geschehen ist kannst du deinen Körper mit Casein versorgen, damit der Muskelaufbau und die Proteinsynthese angeregt werden.

Das sogenannte anabole Zeitfenster sollte nicht so hoch genommen werden.
Früher sagte man immer, es währen 30 Minuten nach dem Sport,aber das stimmt nicht.
Es reicht auch wenn du zwei stunden nach dem workout hochwertiges Eiweiß zu dir nimmst.

Grundsätzlich soll man zu diesem Thema keine Wissenschaft draus machen. Wir sind alle keine Wettkampf Athleten, sondern verfolgen das Ziel nur als Hobby, man muss sich nicht verrückt machen.
Wichtig ist, dass man auf seine Menge an Eiweiß kommt😁! Doch wann ist der beste Zeitpunkt Proteine aufzunehmen und den Muskelaufbau zu unterstützen oder voranzutreiben

Grundsätzlich gilt es erstmal zu klären, wie viel Eiweiß man braucht.
Laut der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Ernährung benötigt man 0,8 g Eiweiß pro Kilo Körpergewicht, dies ist aber nur der Mindestwert um kein Eiweissmangel zu erfahren.

Wer effektiv Muskeln aufbauen will der sollte seine Eiweißzufuhr auf 2 - 2,5 Gramm pro Kilogramm Körpergewicht hochschrauben und keine Angst das ist für die Nieren kein Problem.

Der Titel sollte nicht und heißen sondern oder heißen😁

Proteine schaden nie! besser geht es zu klären welche Proteine und wann.
2 Std vor dem Training solltest du langarbeitendes Eiweiß zu dir nehmen, das sogenannte Casein.
Kurz vor dem Training kannst du dir BCAA zum Muskelschutz in Form eines Shakes geben. Direkt nach dem Training benötigt der Körper schnelles Eiweiß um den Muskel effektiv zu versorgen, nachdem das geschehen ist kannst du deinen Körper mit Casein versorgen, damit der Muskelaufbau und die Proteinsynthese angeregt werden.

Das sogenannte anabole Zeitfenster sollte nicht so hoch genommen werden.
Früher sagte man immer, es währen 30 Minuten nach dem Sport,aber das stimmt nicht.
Es reicht auch wenn du zwei stunden nach dem workout hochwertiges Eiweiß zu dir nimmst.

Grundsätzlich soll man zu diesem Thema keine Wissenschaft draus machen. Wir sind alle keine Wettkampf Athleten, sondern verfolgen das Ziel nur als Hobby, man muss sich nicht verrückt machen.
Wichtig ist, dass man auf seine Menge an Eiweiß kommt😁!
