1.5 pounds lost this week, pleased with that as I was advised to up my calories to 1600 a day and given macros to try stick to. I was worried the increase in calories would mean I wouldn’t lose weight although it makes sense that I needed more calories to build the muscle I wanted to build in my quest to tone up and I have indeed had more energy when training. I’ve not hit my macros this week but planning in advance to try tweak the day so I hit them is the plan for next week. But I have eaten loads more protein compared to normal so it was a step in the right direction -

VENERDÌ - quanta pioggia ☔️🌧 anche stanotte.. che tempaccio e quando è così e fa freddo è un piacere accendere il forno 😅.. mi chiedono spesso ma tutti i giorni una colazione diversa!??? Siiii.. adoro cambiare tutti i giorni e lo faccio anche per mio figlio che essendo goloso mangerebbe tutto ciò che chiama dolcezza.. ma lo faccio con testa cercando il più possibile di renderlo felice ma rispettando anche la sua salute.. .
Detto ciò la mia colazione.. CESTINI DI AVENA CON MOUSSE AL CACAO 20gr fiocchi di avena baby
30gr fiocchi di Avena grandi

Cannella
Schiacciare la banana e amalgamare con la cannella aggiungere i fiocchi e creare l’impasto.. riempire dei contenitori per Muffin in silicone.. cuocere per 15min a 180 gradi forno statico.. La mattina farcire con yogurt greco e 5gr di cacao amaro Mirtilli freschi e granella di cacao crudo (consiglio farcire sempre la mattina altrimenti il cestino diventa molle..) @delicious.breakfast insegna 😍😊

After a few months away and near to fully recovered from surgery I'm getting back into things and hitting the gym hard starting next week. Was at my peak before I stopped and now I want to beat all the personal records I set back then and peak again💪🏼

Smokey Cauliflower steak with roasted quinoa and kale salad by @the_clumsy_vegan. 🥗 A very tasty cauliflower steak recipe!

Ingredients:
Cauliflower: 1 large cut into 2 thick steaks about 2 cm thick
Vegan butter: 1 Tbsp
Herbs of choice, I used Tarragon
Kale: 1 C
Quinoa: 1/2 C cooked
For sauce:
Liquid aminos or soya sauce or tamari: 2 T
Balsamic vinegar: 1 T
Olive oil: 2 T
Tomato puree: 1 T
Xylitol or sugar: 1 T
Smoked paprika: 1/2 T
Method:
1) Make sauce by mixing all the ingredients together
2) Preheat oven to 180C
3) Add butter into a skillet followed by cauliflower and herbs. Cook for a few minutes on each side till cauliflower begins to brown.
4) Spoon 2 T on sauce over each steak and cook for 1 minute more on each side
5) Transfer the contents of the skillet into a lined baking tray and place in the oven.
6) Roast the cauliflower for 40 minutes till done turning half way and and adding 1 T of sauce for each steak once turned . Finish cooking cauliflower under the grill 3 minutes on each side
7) Transfer cauliflower into serving plate and add kale and quinoa to the same baking tray.Mix kale and couscous with the remaining sauce on the tray and place in the oven for 10 minutes

31 weeks: The twins are the size of a head of romaine lettuce 🥬 🥬 -

All of their organs, with the exception of the lungs, are fully developed at this point. -

I had a little scare last week after my shower — from Sunday to Thursday I felt almost no movement at all with the boys. I had gone on Thursday morning to get them checked out, they hooked me up to an NST machine that monitors and reports their movement and also times my contractions. They had a tough time finding Baby A’s heartbeat which was freaking all of us out. It took about 15 minutes to find it. After a while being hooked up on the machine, they started kicking away and acting like their normal selves! Which was a huge relief. (Babies should be kicking at least 10 times within 1-2 hours & doctors usually have you call the office to come in for monitoring if you haven’t felt them for ONE day; I was brushing it off because I didn’t want to be THAT mom that freaks out about everything, but after talking to my doctor and reading the different scenarios that could have happen by missing a simple appointment because of loss of movement, I definitely should’ve made that phone call day 1)

I had a busy week last week — set up the twin bassinet for the living room, put together the changing table, and the nursery rocking chair, organized the boys’ closet, clothes & diapers and practically have everything done with the nursery except for hanging up some wall decor 🤗 aaaaand my Christmas Tree will be up this weekend. Anyone else decorate for Christmas this early? 🎄 -
