Had an intense workout today at modo! Thanks for the inspiring class to keep pushing on!
Today I forgot my lock for my bike, and had to work with leaving it available for theft.
I was anxious and panicky until class started and I became more calm with inner peace. I actually forgot about my bile within five minutes of Modo, and found myself learning a valuable lesson once I returned downstairs for my bike.
1. Karma aspects seem realistic more than ever before
2. Despite clinical anxiety, Yoga can temporarily stall it
3. Stressing over little things is a complete waste of energy and time.
4. Yoga is physically demanding and will kill you in the first week 😅

Here is to dropping another two lbs this week, and adding that inner core strength and muscle mass •

Took a little break from squats as I was focused more on strengthening my posterior chain with other movements but I missed them so much so I’m slowly starting to incorporate them back into my routine. I love placing the box bc it allows me to practice depth with each rep 🏋🏻‍♂️ I think it will always be one of my favorite leg workouts 💖

It's hard to remember where I was and the slow process getting back there. Seeing others pics, (@_katfit 🔥) knowing I didn't get my fit together soon enough to do the things (show) I said I was going to do but knowing I'm on the right track, making progress, and keeping my eye on the long term prize 💪

@joelbaez_1993 Amazing how strong I felt today the entire time I was doing back. Deadlifts is one of my top favorite routines to do and today I cracked a barrier.

Set 1 & 2: 1 plate for 10reps
Set 3 & 4: 2 plates for 10reps
Set 5 & 6: 3 plates for 10reps
Set 7: 4plates for 9reps
Set 8: 4plates for 8reps
Set 9: 4plates 25lbs for 1 rep
Set 10 & 11: 3 plates for 10reps.

!WORKING HARD AND GAINING HARD!


When I first started working on my fitness, I never thought I’d be where I stand today. My mindset consisted of disbelief and discouragement. I craved to see myself in a healthier and better way but that would have never be possible if I didn’t see my journey in a better light. •

It’s easy to tell yourself that your goal is to go to the gym to be more toned, fit, or hot. Trust me, I’ve been there and I’ve done that. But those kinds of goals require motivation, and it takes much more than just motivation. Hell, Ive had countless times where I just wanted to relax and sit on the couch instead of going to the gym. But It takes dedication and discipline. It takes habit. It takes a way of life. •

Your mindset is everything.

When I first started working on my fitness, I never thought I’d be where I stand today. My mindset consisted of disbelief and discouragement. I craved to see myself in a healthier and better way but that would have never be possible if I didn’t see my journey in a better light. •

It’s easy to tell yourself that your goal is to go to the gym to be more toned, fit, or hot. Trust me, I’ve been there and I’ve done that. But those kinds of goals require motivation, and it takes much more than just motivation. Hell, Ive had countless times where I just wanted to relax and sit on the couch instead of going to the gym. But It takes dedication and discipline. It takes habit. It takes a way of life. •

@instagram is finally letting me like, comment, & post finally sooo we’re back baby!! sitting here reminiscing about how i used to admire the gals that could hip thrust this much, telling myself “i’m going to be able to do that someday.” slowly but surely this weight became my 5 rep max & now it’s my 10 rep max. my 5 rep max is now 130 lbs heavier than this & i can now consecutively put up this weight for 4 sets. SO DANG PROUD of myself & of my body. .

It's been 1 week since I last worked out. I just purchased a scale for when I start my training for competitions and I was curious to see where my body was at. To my shock and disappointment, I gained 5 lbs. Seems like nothing and it may be nothing BUT that was all the motivation I needed to get my bum back to working out. My weight fluctuates like any human, but with PCOS, I get scared that if I gain weight, how much harder will it be to lose it again. It's horrible to think about but I am human and this is my passion so it's natural for me to be worried and scared. I sometimes do need to remind myself that my career I am building with my own 2 hands. It's not easy but I know with my husband and everyone who supports be by my side I'll beable to go far. I'm here to be real with everyone, not have a cookie cutter profile. This is my blog diary practically and I love sharing the truth about how life is, and sometimes it can interfere. As long as keep getting up and going back to our goals, then failure is never going to be an option ❤💋

Where there’s a will... there is ALWAYS a way!! When the option is modifications or nothing... I make the mods work!!! Been really focusing on mind muscle connection... especially in the booty area... I have a lazy ass 🤣 given the chance it will always pass the work on to my quads... so this time around I’ve been working really hard at making the connection with my glutes... always start leg day with some warm up activations... I think it’s helping!! N makes me even more excited to see what we can build this time!!! WE’RE DOING WORK @the_klick_way

IM BACK AND IM FEELIN GOOD 😍🤩🤗⁣

It took a lot of will power to get outta my funk and to finally push myself to go to the gym .. but I have noooo regrets. I didn’t do super heavy weight today, but my workout sesh was still amazing. It felt really good to break a sweat and to lift weights after a couple days off. ⁣

Since I didn’t start my week working out, here are some goals I have for the rest of the week:⁣
🐝 drink A LOT of water⁣
🐝 no more days off for the rest of the week⁣
🐝 incorporate more ab workouts into my split⁣
🐝 get enough sleep at night⁣
🐝 & finally, progressive mf overloaddddd!! ⁣ ⁣

My secret to success👇🏼⁣

What you don’t see in my face on the left is how miserable I was. How badly it hurt to look in the mirror and think “how the hell did I let myself get like this”. How horrible it felt to continuously go up jean sizes, to not fit in my clothes anymore, to not want to go out with my friends.⁣

But what you see on the right, is indescribable. ⁣

Man, it’s been an amazing journey and I can’t say it was easy. I conquered my fears, got uncomfortable, and overcame the obstacles that came my way.⁣

But being able to continue getting results and making progress without restriction has been the most amazing part. ⁣

Establishing a healthy relationship with food and finally having balance makes me love my freaking life so much more.⁣

Believe it or not...I don’t diet. I don’t restrict ANY foods. I drink wine, I eat cookies, and you bet I go out to eat!⁣

Everyone deserves to be free from the self-hate. Everyone deserves to be fully confident when they look in the mirror.⁣

Tbh my back was in such pain yesterday, idk how I managed to take selfies🙃

Yesterday evening I got called out by you guys for trying to test my back even though I was in pain, and today I've received an insane amount of messages from y'all showing support for sharing a personal struggle I've been going through recently. 🥺
It warms my heart knowing that I have a great group of people supporting me, whether it be through calling me out for being dumb or offering a shoulder to cry on whenever I share my vulnerability😂

Tbh my back was in such pain yesterday, idk how I managed to take selfies🙃

Yesterday evening I got called out by you guys for trying to test my back even though I was in pain, and today I've received an insane amount of messages from y'all showing support for sharing a personal struggle I've been going through recently. 🥺
It warms my heart knowing that I have a great group of people supporting me, whether it be through calling me out for being dumb or offering a shoulder to cry on whenever I share my vulnerability😂

🖤I saw this story from @paigereilly yesterday about a comment someone posted on her youtube video on how other girls “did so much better”. And it really reminded me of this...

🖤You really never know what someone’s going through or what their life is like or what their insecurities are, and social media is typically only like 1% of someone’s life. So please don’t judge people on what they choose to show the world because it takes so much courage and confidence to even show that 1% of your life to the world, especially when they’re ACTUALLY being authentic here!
