    Lowered my fast to 43 hours instead of 66🙊 First time ever fasting so I’m going to lighten this week’s a bit. Next week’s I’ll go for longer. Baby steps in learning this IF thing👌🏽 Feeling fab though and loving speed Keto! Maintaining 6 pounds lost in 5 days🙌🏽

    I was a mess and anxiously waiting for Monday to arrive, so I could go ‘burn off’ those extra calories from the weekend.

I remember feeling so disappointed in myself…

M-TH were always great, but my weekends were horrible. No balance and 100% all or nothing thinking.

It’s FRIDAY and you wanna know something?

I don’t feel like I’m going to break apart and eat all the things…pizza, ice cream, or any other food I used to daydream about during the week.

I remember white-knuckling through the week and then the weekend would arrive and I would start off by having a glass of wine and some chips Friday evening, and then that lead to pizza for dinner.

I would wake up feel defeated Saturday, but I had tailgating, family gatherings, weekend trips, etc and I would eat all the chips, dips, casseroles, cakes, etc.

Sunday would roll around and I felt miserable. Some days I would barely eat anything to try and make up for the weekend.

All or nothing mindset didn't get me anywhere.

Monday would arrive, I would head to the gym and workout to try and cancel out my bad weekend. I would get back on track with my diet until Friday rolled back around.

Then I repeat this cycle again.

Does this every happen to you? Do you willpower through the weekend and fall off the rail on the weekends? The guilt, the shame, and frustration I felt was the saddest part for me…

I was so disappointed in myself, but I never paused to think that maybe I’m not eating enough throughout the week, maybe I am being too restrictive or exercising so much it's negatively impacting my hormones.

I can say after years of handwork, breaking free of restrictive diets, and following my own tailored nutrition and workout program my hormones are happy, my weight is happy, and I am HAPPY.

    💪🏼Flex Fridayyy💪🏼 Resting and going to bed early yesterday was 100% the right choice. I woke up feeling great! Kept it easy at the gym today though... just did a quick bicep pump. I have a busy day including a 90 minute cardio session with @refitrev tonight, so I didn’t want to push myself too much. Here’s to taking care of yourself, whether it’s with rest or activity!
