    This guy is making amazing progress. @drrashadnazir trains with me 3 times a week. When he came to me his blood pressure was through the roof to the point of needing medication.

We are now at the point where his blood pressure is consistently within optimal range and there is no longer a need for medication.

He is stronger, more energetic, lighter on the scale but most importantly he is healthier 🙏🏻

    My arch-nemesis aka pushups were back in rotation today and they almost made me cry at the gym, smh. As you can see I fall to my knees at one point while doing them and laughed it off as I didn't want to get myself down. Yet, not to long after that you can see that I my put my hand in front of my face as I had started to get teary eyed. I didn't want to cry at the gym, so I got it together and kept pushing through the pushups and the rest of the workout session. I was frustrated with myself as here I am two weeks into this challenge and I still can't get through a set of pushups. While I had already been doing exercises before the pushups and my arms were hurting, I still felt that I should be able to do these pushups by now.  I had to tell myself to keep fighting, which I did. So I fought through my frustration, my weaknesses, and self doubt and didn't leave the gym until they closed. I am very grateful for this challenge as I am pushing myself past my limits and even when I falter, I get back up and know that I will ultimately be stronger at the end of this challenge. I am also very grateful for @blinkfitness staff members as they always have a smile when I come in. I appreciate their smile as I know that what I am getting ready to do at the gym is not going to be easy. Tonight as they were getting ready to close, I was grunting as I pushed towards my last sets and one of the staff members tells me "You're doing great! You got this!" and kept telling me motivational things as he got the place ready for closing time. I kept telling him thank you as his positive energy came in the clutch and I did my last sets. I went in there feeling a hot mess and left tired tired, yet uplifted. I almost didn't make it to the gym today, I am so happy that I didn't let myself get in my way of making progress.

•DINNER: arugula, 1 carrot, 40 g blue cheese, 25 g walnuts, 100 g beetroot, 2  tbsp olive oil purple cabbage
