Well developed shoulders will not only look good but also have a big impact on your appearance, as you will look a lot bigger with a strong lateral shoulder head.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Especially during the lateral raise a lot of people struggle to fully contract the muscle. ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They lift most of the weight with either their traps or their shoulders.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are some cues you could implement to improve your technique:⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
☑️ LEAD WITH THE ELBOWS: Your wrist should never be the highest point - bring your elbows up instead. So always pull with your elbows. This also applies for a reverse pec deck machine or any other rear delt exercise - always think of your elbows!⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤙🏼 GRIP THE HARDEST WITH THE PINKY: Through this you will ensure to have the perfect angle.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
➕ INCREASE FREQUENCY: The two shoulder head recover pretty fast, thus you will be able to hit them more than 2 times per week.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📈 INCREASE VOLUME: Only doing 3 sets two times per week won’t lead to great results, which is why I strongly recommend to increase your volume! Anything from 16 to 22 sets should be fine (combined rear & side delt.)⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Wie verbringt ihr den Valentinstag? Mit eurem Partner, oder mit Freunden ganz normal?

Also ich bin mit meinem Freund schon über 7 Jahre zusammen und da braucht man keinen Valentinstag um einem zu sagen, oder zu zeigen das man sich liebt. Das sollte man jeden Tag tun und nicht nur am Valentinstag 😊

Mehh weather makes me wanna stay inside and just be lazy.

But every day, every moment matter and can make a difference so I had an awesome meal, getting some coffee and leaving the house shortly!

Life is for living! Thinking of the storm in UK today (fingers crossed the trains will still go on time tonight!) I just remembered a quote “Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain.”

And there’s always a sunshine after the storm is over! So keep dancing in the rain, don’t give up just because the weather ( #lifehappens ) is acting up, get inspired!

Right now I’m in pjs with a cuppa, no gym gear in sight 🤷‍♀️☕️

I’ve had more rest days than normal this week, such as today, due to a combination of being more tired from working more and my period not making me feel too good 😕
-
Not going to worry about the lack of workouts though because I’ve been having a good week despite that and it will allow my body to rest before smashing out some great workouts next week 💪
