Well I didn’t have time to dig out a shirt this morning as we tried to race out of the house then we ended up missing the school bus for my oldest 🤦🏻‍♀️ So here I am working out in my sweatshirt 😓 🤷🏻‍♀️ still got a decent workout in though and everything is good. Today started off rocky but all that matters is that I’m still making the most of it 🏋️‍♀️💪🏽 .

For my 2am sweat check I did biceps and triceps. Then I did some interval stuff on the elliptical for 35 mins. (also, don’t judge me... I work nights so I don’t see much sun.... so yes, I am getting artificial UV radiation) ❤️ 💪🏼🤘🏼🥰🤘🏼💪🏼

Strength workout followed by an easy 5K.

I’m now introducing bodyweight strength sessions into my weekly routine. Plan is to do this at least twice a week, as it takes less than 15 mins to power through the below exercises (recommended by @runwithless, I’m using one of Ben Parkes’ routines from YouTube).

▫️Reverse lunges inc. knee drive
▫️Squats
▫️Calf raises
▫️Hip bridges
▫️Plank
▫️Crunches
.
After this went out for an easy 5K to loosen off the legs. Another morning, another run!

Oh, and I met a hedgehog 🦔 en route, who nicely posed for a photo 😃.

Going from 289LBS in December of 2017 to 140LBS today October 22 2019 is a lot to go through mentally. •
My entire life people have made comments about my weight. All negative of course, because that’s world we live in right?

I can say I did this ALL natural. Exercise and watching what you eat. NO DIETS!!!!!

Even though I am stuck with my lose skin, i am now learning to love my body for what it is. And it’s the HARDEST thing because I have ALWAYS been shamed for my body for as long as I can remember.

My point is... to all you women and men out there working hard EVERY SINGLE DAY and going through the mental struggles EVERY SINGLE DAY I applaud you. It’s NOT EASY!

As far as Tuesdays go that was pretty awesome, everyone really working hard yesterday.

The 1st if 2 30 min Padwork PT sessions with Louise this week. These may only be half an hour but they are pretty much non stop and high intensity meaning lots of calories are burned.

Kat and Keli giving it another 100% effort in another fully action packed full body training session.

A very leg heavy session with Emma and Kirena in their 1st of 2 weekly PT sessions.
Lots of core work in there too.

I had Lauren in for her free taster session who did very well and I'm really looking forward to helping Lauren reach her goals.
She is very keen to get started properly and get stuck in which is brilliant to see.

And William in his new Tuesday evening slot, William's sessions are always mainly weights focused as his goal is to build muscle.
We mix it up each week but always get big compound lifts in every session.

I can say I did this ALL natural. Exercise and watching what you eat. NO DIETS!!!!!

Even though I am stuck with my lose skin, i am now trying to learn to love my body for what it is.

To all you women and men out there working hard EVERY SINGLE DAY and going through the mental struggles EVERY SINGLE DAY I applaud you. It’s NOT EASY!

Trained upper body with a quick dumbbell only workout! 💪🏼 You don’t have to use a bunch of equipment to have a good workout!! You can do most exercise with just free weights (barbells, dumbbells, kettle bells etc) Plussss it can be super helpful when the gym is crowded! You can always turn the workout into a circuit or decrease the rest time to keep the intensity up through a dumbbell only workout! Do you ever do dumbbell only workouts??👇🏼

It was leg daaaaaay, more glutes and hammies focused 🔥💪🏼 my legs are dead!! What’s your fav leg day exercise?!! 👇🏼 My current workout split is Legs, shoulders, back, legs, full upper body and my fav cardio is just walking!! 5x a week with 2 rest days! Don’t forget your rest days you neeeeeeed those!

Let's get this one out of the way before someone says it - Yes, you can eat any food you want and lose fat. I agree with incorporating less healthy foods you enjoy for adherence. ⁣

Solid fat loss foods have at least 1 (but ideally 2 or more) of these elements:⁣

1. Convenience⁣

Convenience meaning it takes little time to prepare or you can take it with you easily. This makes it more practical and likely you will eat the food regularly.⁣

2. Filling⁣

It fills you up, allowing you to consume fewer total calories for the day.⁣

3. Low Calorie⁣

Hopefully you understand in order to lose fat - you must consume fewer calories than you burn.⁣

4. High Protein⁣

High protein foods will typically fill you up and help you retain muscle. This will help increase your metabolism, as well as increase the thermic effect of feeding. This simply means your body will burn more calories digesting protein than it will carbs or fats.⁣
