Today is probably the first time in these 3 weeks that i feel really really drainned , im proud i still got a workout in today even lifted heavier on dumbbells 💪 but im legit exhausted. Have i accomplished everything i said i was gonna do this week ? NOPE😂 am i still happy ? YES ✔

Another cliche gym photo (I don’t think they’ll ever stop 😆) A low key Friday night for me. Went to the gym and did legs. Its in the upper 90s in WI today which doesn’t happen like ever...so let’s just say I was easily a sweaty mess at the gym (I was told the air conditioning was on but I’d question that). Spending the rest of my night studying my CPT and getting to bed early. I have to teach a group class in the morning at 630am. Happy FriYaY!

This workout was a killer and I don’t know if part of it had to do with the fact that it got to 92 degrees today which made me feel a little sluggish. Or maybe because I didn’t sleep well last night because little man didn’t sleep well. Or because it’s just a doozy of a workout to begin with. I’m sure it was a little bit of each. I am loving my @neeboofit hip circle though. It’s so much easier to use than regular bands. It has a little more resistance to it as well. Not to mention it felt like a waist trimmer on my legs during the workout today. I could feel my legs sweating where it was. And that was during the longest 90 seconds of my life! I had to do that twice too! My butt started to cramp up a little during my second round. And you know what? It’s still quivering right now as I’m standing in the kitchen cooking dinner. Now you know that means that was a killer workout and I hit the muscles properly too. I feel like I got a helluva #glutepump too. Oh and I did hit a PR on the glute machine- single leg. 110 for 6! And that may not seem like a lot considering I hit 335 Monday but it’s a lot different when it’s just one leg. CHALLENGE YOURSELF ⁣⁣

When I was a little girl, I was very shy. I didn’t really climb trees, because I was afraid I would fall. It took me forever to get the guts to walk up to other kids, asking them whether they‘d like to play with me. I always hesitated doing things I wanted to do, because I thought I wasn’t going to be smart enough. But I realized, that the hesitation will always limit my possibilities, it will pull me back from reaching my goals. To change that, I started challenging myself. I started stepping out of my comfort zone and doing things that I always thought were to big for me. ⁣⁣
Always remember: if you think you aren’t able to do something you‘re probably right. Don’t limit your possibilities by thinking you aren’t good enough. Challenge yourself and grow.✨⁣⁣

Als ich ein kleines Mädchen war, war ich sehr schüchtern. Ich habe mich nie getraut, auf Bäume zu klettern, weil ich immer dachte ich würde herunter fallen. Es hat ewig gedauert, bis ich den Mut gefasst habe und andere Kinder gefragt habe, ob sie mit mir spielen wollen. Ich zögerte immer Dinge zu tun, die ich tun wollte, weil ich immer dachte ich wäre nicht gut genug dafür. Aber ich habe realisiert, dass dieses Zögern meinen Möglichkeiten Grenzen setzt. Es wird mich immer davon abhalten, meine Ziele zu erreichen. Um das zu ändern, habe ich angefangen, mich selbst aktiv vor Herausforderungen zu stellen. Ich habe Dinge getan, die weit außerhalb meiner Komfortzone liegen und die ich mir normalerweise nie zugetraut hätte.⁣⁣
Denke immer daran: wenn du denkst, dass du etwas nicht schaffst, dann wirst du es auch nicht schaffen. Setze deinen Möglichkeiten keine Grenzen durch negative Gedanken und Zweifel. Fordere dich selbst heraus und wachse.✨⁣⁣

When I was a little girl, I was very shy. I didn’t really climb trees, because I was afraid I would fall. It took me forever to get the guts to walk up to other kids, asking them whether they‘d like to play with me. I always hesitated doing things I wanted to do, because I thought I wasn’t going to be smart enough. But I realized, that the hesitation will always limit my possibilities, it will pull me back from reaching my goals. To change that, I started challenging myself. I started stepping out of my comfort zone and doing things that I always thought were to big for me. ⁣⁣
Always remember: if you think you aren’t able to do something you‘re probably right. Don’t limit your possibilities by thinking you aren’t good enough. Challenge yourself and grow.✨⁣⁣

Als ich ein kleines Mädchen war, war ich sehr schüchtern. Ich habe mich nie getraut, auf Bäume zu klettern, weil ich immer dachte ich würde herunter fallen. Es hat ewig gedauert, bis ich den Mut gefasst habe und andere Kinder gefragt habe, ob sie mit mir spielen wollen. Ich zögerte immer Dinge zu tun, die ich tun wollte, weil ich immer dachte ich wäre nicht gut genug dafür. Aber ich habe realisiert, dass dieses Zögern meinen Möglichkeiten Grenzen setzt. Es wird mich immer davon abhalten, meine Ziele zu erreichen. Um das zu ändern, habe ich angefangen, mich selbst aktiv vor Herausforderungen zu stellen. Ich habe Dinge getan, die weit außerhalb meiner Komfortzone liegen und die ich mir normalerweise nie zugetraut hätte.⁣⁣
Denke immer daran: wenn du denkst, dass du etwas nicht schaffst, dann wirst du es auch nicht schaffen. Setze deinen Möglichkeiten keine Grenzen durch negative Gedanken und Zweifel. Fordere dich selbst heraus und wachse.✨⁣⁣

Burning body fat doesn’t happen until you eat less food than your body requires. If you are following a keto diet and your not in a deficit then you are burning the fat that you eat and not body fat. The same rule applies for if you follow a high carbohydrate diet. If you are eating at maintenance then you are burning carbohydrate for fuel. When you are in a deficit that’s when you start burning body fat. •

I’ve been there. Thinking keto was some sort of magic and that the government was trying to kill me with there high carb food pyramid. Shit I was so balls deep into keto that keto was going to be Mia’s middle name. •

I’m afraid the truth is that you will not lose weight until you eat in a deficit. If you’re not losing weight then I think you should maybe track your calories for a bit. Count everything. Alcohol, that chocolate bar that you got at the petrol station 😏, that take away that is a “one off”.


It’s a slow process but what you will learn along the way you will have for the rest of your life. •

SOUND ON: this morning this shit ain’t polished. all I see is that my cross isn’t fully extended, my front foot is too flat, my stance is too short and oh damn not a flattering angle. 😂 BUT I post because I can’t even begin to express how much I ♥️ boxing. damn it it’s humbling that 2 years of boxing later Im back to working on basics, bracing, not dropping the 2 and hip rotation. stepping back to step forward with a few curse words today #beautyinthejourney
