Diets don’t work. I’m grateful to know that now ✨

The truth is, I have dieted...a LOT. I have tried clean eating, several different meal plans and programs (the dancing ones, the don’t-season-anything ones, the eat broccoli, brown rice, fish, chicken and sweet potato for the rest of your life ones), tracked macros and other sorts of diets that in the end only made me fear food. Certain foods were bad and if I had them, I’d feel guilty. It’s more profitable for society if you fear food, hate yourself and binge than it is for you to have a good relationship with food and with yourself. 🤷🏽‍♀️ The latter isn’t easy by any means, but it’s worth aiming for ❣️

I’m grateful for our holistic health program, the HSE, because it’s all about abundance in all areas 🌱 wholefood nutrition, mental health, self love, delicious recipes and beyond. ✨

No restrictions, no diets, no going hungry because life is WAY too short for that ❤️ You increase your nutritional intake so your body can thrive while taking your time to navigate through the rest of the resources and areas of your life at your own pace. It’s not about overnight changes, restrictions or punishing yourself into a healthier you ➡️ it’s about embracing the abundance in your life and learning to come from a place of love, with food, with nutrition, with fitness, with your mind and with health overall.

It’s okay to try everything before you find something that works, it’s really the only way to know what doesn’t work. That’s right, folks! Fresh start at uni means I’m officially getting a clean slate! Plus, my housemate gave me the @quakeroatsuk / @quaker his mum forced upon him in an attempt to keep him healthy at university (something he’s dead set against— his loss, my gain! 😂) Anyway, what better way than to funkify my breakfast?! Strawberry-Kiwi-Mango is best flavour and no one can tell me otherwise! 🍓🍈🥝 INGREDIENTS - 60g Quaker Oats covered with @twiningsteauk strawberry - mango infused boiling water
- 25g @myproteinuk vanilla whey
- 1 teaspoon @beaniescoffee Creamy Caramel Coffee
- @oatein Strawberry white choc bar
- 10g @tescofood sugar free strawberry jam
- froot to your preference!

Swipe ⏩ for dat mix and melt and for them macros!

Cacao & Avocado smoothie.
Taking a leaf from one of our favourite hormone gurus @meganhallett and having a minimal fruit smoothie this morning. Megan has just posted a delicious list of low fruit smoothies on her website and explains the reason for cutting back on fruit only smoothies.
To make our super thick cacao and avocado smoothie you will need -
1 small chilled avocado
1/4 of a banana
1 tbsp of cacao powder
2 tbsp of nutty nutty peanut butter @thatprotein Super protein powder
1 tsp of almond butter
2 tbsp of chia seeds
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Cover with plant based milk - and blend until super thick and creamy.
Topped with toasted almond flakes, cacao nibs and @therawchocolatecompany very dark chocolate chunks (couldn’t help myself).

Happy ☀️- day! The weather inspired me to make a fruity oatmeal. Made this raspberry vanilla oatmeal and got a bit crazy with all the toppings. But never too much toppings, right?
🇩🇪 Hello, hello - wie schön war bitte das Wetter dieses Wochenende? Deshalb gab es bei mir auch eine fruchtige Oatmeal Variante! Hab mir Himbeer Vanille Oatmeal gemacht und bin dann bei den Toppings ein bisschen eskaliert, aber es gibt sowieso kein zu viel Toppings, stimmt’s? Wir waren heute eine schöne Runde wandern und haben das Wetter genossen! Ich hoffe ihr auch ? 🥰
