You all have been asking (a while ago, I know... 🤦🏻‍♀️), so here it is... finally! My healthy no-bake cookie recipe 😋 & trust me, they taste so much better than they look 😉
.
• 2 cups organic gluten free oats
• 1/2 cup organic maple syrup
• 1/2 cup organic coconut oil
• 1/2 cup organic almond butter
• 1/4 cup carob powder (if you can have chocolate, you can also use 100% raw cacao powder)
• 2 teaspoons organic vanilla extract
Prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Take a spoonful out at a time and place on cookie sheet. Once completed, place cookie sheet in the freezer for one hour, or until the cookies are firm. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer and enjoy!

you’re the meatball to my spaghetti 🍝 🥰 .. NEW recipe for these Roasted Red Pepper Turkey Meatballs are now up on allisapron.com (link in bio!) ..these meatballs are grain-free, gluten-free, paleo-friendly, and most importantly DELICIOUS! They’re really good with pasta of any kind including zucchini noodles, and even as an appetizer served with a little tomato sauce on the side for dipping. I recommend a no sugar added tomato sauce like @cucinaantica 👍🏼 ..lemme know if you guys try this recipe! ❤️

Midweek and day 3 of #ETGveggies calls for some fries, and not just any fries, but TURNIP FRIES! Yes we are changing up your typical potato and using turnips. They are seasoned with garlic, cumin, and paprika and made in the oven or air fryer for a lower carb alternative to your typical potato fries or just a great way to change it up!⁠⠀

This recipe totally hits on a veggie I don't usually make a home too. I've had turnips before (and like them), but never really buy them. I know we all usually buy the same things week after week, so I figured this would be a fun way to change it up. And you can’t really go wrong with fries.⁠⠀

Let’s get some things straight though - these are not potatoes. I absolutely love potato French fries and these don’t really compare to them (in my opinion), but make a fun and delicious alternative.⁠⠀

ASIAN INGREDIENT - #fishsauce is a liquid condiment made from fish or krill that have been coated in salt and fermented for up to two years. It is used as a staple seasoning in Asian cuisine, particularly Thailand and Vietnam cuisine which I teach in my cooking classes.

When you purchase fish sauce I recommend one from Thailand as it's lighter in color and flavor than Vietnamese brands, store pantry with your soy sauces, does not require refrigeration.

Spenótos és aszalt szilvás csirketekercsek fekete erdei sonkába tekerve 💕

Ezt a receptet karácsonykor és szintén a múlt hétvégén (még a mostani előtti) készítettük. Karácsonykor anya, múlt hétvégén pedig én. És szerintem tök extra, de tudom sok ember szerint elég bizar. 🥴

A 4 tekercshez 4 csirkemellet klopfoltam ki viszonylag vékonyra. A szilvásokhoz aszalt szilválat tettem a csirkeszelet egyik hosszabbik oldalára (2 tekercset csináltam ebből is, abból is), ezután feltekertem. A spenótoshoz pedig egy csomag fagyasztott spenót pürét kiolvasztottam,amit egy szűrőbe téve lecsepegtettem. Ehhez kevertem hozzá egy gerezd összenyomott fokhagymát, 40g reszelt zsírszegény sajtot, sót és borsot. Ezt a krémet eloszlattam a kiklopfolt csirkén (fele-fele arányban a két szeleten), majd ezt is feltekertem. A négy tekercset fekete erdei sonkával tekertem be (a zsíros részét alul levágtam) összesen 150g kellett. A tekercsek 30-40 percen keresztül sültek 180 C*on. Ha már langyosra hűlt, akkor vágtuk fel szeletekre. Én salátával és savanyú ubival ettem, a családom meg hercegnőburgonyával. 🧀🥬🥓

As panturrilhas trabalham quando você anda, pula ou até mesmo fica parado em pé
Como precisam ser resistentes, os músculos da batata da perna tendem a ter mais fibras de contração lenta (do tipo I)
Essas fibras são bem resistente à fadiga, porém possuem menor potencial de hipertrofia
Ter um bom volume de treino, variar os exercícios e fazer movimentos para a batata da perna até a exaustão são táticas para aumentar esse músculos

🌟Chicken Pita Pockets🌟
Made these post shoulder workout for dinner today. 🥰🥰
I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and italian seasoning and grilled it on a skillet in coconut oil along with some lemon.🤤
Filled the pita bread with sliced chicken, tomatoes and lettuce. .

Sometimes I get in the mood for that bbq flavor, you know? Also, I love making my own hamburger buns. This here is a chicken bbq sandwich on a homemade wheat hamburger bun with a side of frozen onion rings by @alexiafoods. .

The homemade buns were super easy to make. It included combining yeast, oil, and sugar with warm water to proof for a few minutes. After adding in an egg and a dash of salt; I had to add in some bread flour and all-purpose flour (both by @kingarthurflour), to make a dough. .

After the dough was formed, I kneaded it for a few minutes. After forming the buns, I baked them at 425 degrees for close to ten minutes until golden brown. .

.

It’s Wellness Wednesday 💥!

I feel truly grateful 🙏 to be both mama and doctor to my girls.

Although sometimes it can feel stressful when something does come up with their health...here goes the blame game we all know...”Oh, is it my fault?! What can I be doing better to take care of my children?!”⁠

Yet then I calm down and remember: kids get sick 🤒 and stop feeling guilty or blaming yourself! Actually, we are all susceptible to the physical, emotional, and chemical stressors that affect the health of the body. These stressors hit the nervous system and trickle down to everything that keeps us in good order: the ability to digest food, allow blood flow, how the nerves function, and so MUCH more.⁠

Being able to care 💙 for my girls allows me to bear witness to the power of the nervous system to adapt, respond, and heal.

It’s ok if you’re not a doctor. You still have the ability to care for your children with the biggest tool of all: their 🥒🍓🥦🥕🥙⁠ diet.

1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
3 large carrots, cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) pieces
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons paprika
kosher salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ medium red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup fresh italian parsley (35 g), roughly chopped
DRESSING
¼ cup tahini (60 mL)
1 clove garlic, grated
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ cup water (60 mL)
¼ cup olive oil (60 mL)
kosher salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower, carrots, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper and olive oil. Toss until well-coated.
Spread the vegetables on the baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20-25 minutes, until the carrots are tender.
Make the dressing: In a medium bowl, whisk together the tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and water. While whisking, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the dressing is emulsified. Season with salt and pepper.
In a large bowl, mix together the onion and parsley. Add the roasted cauliflower and carrots, and toss well.
Drizzle the salad with the dressing, then serve.

Balkabaklı Glutensiz Çekirdek Kraker 🌱💚🧡 Malzemeler:
200 g ay çekirdeği
250 g kabak çekirdeği
30 g chia tohumu
60 g keten tohumu
2 yemek kaşığı Hindistancevizi yağı veya zeytinyağı
2 çay kaşığı toz zerdeçal
1/2 çay kaşığı toz tarçın
1 çimdik muskat
1 çimdik taze çekilmiş karabiber
1 çay kaşığı tuz
300 g Bal kabağı

Yapılışı: İlk olarak bal kabaklarını haşlayıp rondodan geçirerek püre haline getirin.Soğumasını bekleyin. Tüm malzemeleri bir kasede iyice karıştırın. Yağlı kağıt serilmiş 2 adet tepsiye (tepsi boyutunuza göre değişebilse de 2. Tepsi yarısı kadar dolacaktır)
olabilecek en ince ve eşit şekilde spatula yardımı ile yayın.
Önceden 160 dereceye ısıttığınız fırınd iyice renklenene dek 40-45 dakika kadar fırınlayın.
Soğuduktan sonraki gelişi güzel parçalayıp servis edin.

Jour 22 - Pâtes complètes au tofu, champignons & oignons rouges 🌿🍝

3e et avant dernière semaine de ce challenge sans viande ni lactose, et si certaines tentations comme les pâtisseries rapportées par les collègues au boulot ou la tablette de chocolat au lait me font toujours de l’œil, je tiens bon ! 💪 Les effets sont bien présents, je vous ferai un récap final des changements ressentis si bien mentalement que physiquement suite à ce challenge 😉

Voici ma recette du jour, des pâtes complètes au tofu, oignons rouges et champignons, un délice ! Rapides à faire, elles sont saines et parfaites lorsqu’on n’a pas le temps de cuisiner 👌

Pour 1 personne:
100g de pâtes complètes
1 sachet de tofu
1/2 oignon rouge
1 poignée de graines de courges
1 cas de sauce soja
1 cas d’huile d’olive
1 cac de persil
Sel & poivre .
Cuire les pâtes complètes. En attendant la cuisson, couper en dés le tofu et l’oignon. Une fois cuites, mélanger les pâtes avec le tofu, l’oignon, les graines de courge, l’huile, la sauce soja et les épices.
Parsemer de persil. Déguster ! .

This is one of my most favorite treats of all time!!! It may not be the most creative or the most colorful, but it is so so good! It is also super cheap and super quick to make
Ingredients:
🍞 Bread of choice
🍞 Nut butter of choice, I recommend almond butter because it is a little sweeter
🍞 Sweet jam or spread, I used my date syrup, which I highly recommend (go to my story to see how to make your own)
🍞 Banana
Instructions:
1. Toast bread, chop 🍌 up while your waiting
2. Spread 🥜 butter and date syrup on toast
3. Put 🍌 chunks on toast
4. Totally optional If you want extra protein you can sprinkle hemp seeds on top, which you won't even notice
Macros:
🍞 ≈ 300 Calories
🍞 10g Protein
🍞 60g Carbs
🍞 10g Unsaturated fat
🍞 9g Fiber!

☝️Quien dijo que las cremas son aburridas?? Hay tantas combinaciones que nunca me canso de ellas.. tanto en invierno calentitas❄🌫 como fresquitas en verano🌞

🧡💛CREMA DE CALABAZA ASADA CON MANDARINA💛🧡
*Sin Lácteos

Esta época en que estamos a tope de virus, gripe y resfriados 🤒🤧 no viene mal darle un empujón al sistema inmunitario con esta crema cargada de antioxidantes, beta-carotenos y vitaminas, además de nutrir nuestro sistema digestivo.

📝Ingredientes y preparación:
.
🔸️Partir una calabaza por la mitad (el peso dependerá de la cantidad que quieras hacer), untarla de aceite de oliva, sal y 1 cda. De pimienta de Jamaica (en inglés se la conoce como allspice)
*sabes que es un tonico para el tracto gastrointestinal y el sistema digestivo?? ademas de tener un olor entre canela y nuez moscada muy especial 😋
🔸️Asar la calabaza unos 20 minutos en el horno a 180°C
🔸️Mientas tanto en la olla donde vayas a cocinar la crema pocha la cebolla en un fondo de aceite de oliva hasta que esté transparente
🔸️Una vez asada la calabaza, en cuanto la puedas manejar sin dejarte los dedos, quítale la piel y añádela a la olla troceada.
🔸️Cubre con agua, no demasiada...tienen que verse las puntas de los trozos de calabaza y salpimentar a gusto. Exprimir el zumo de una Mandarina (pon la mano debajo para que no te caigan las semillas) 🍊 y ralla un poco de su piel (con mucho cuidado de no llegar a la parte blanca ya que puede amargar un poco)
🔸️Deja cocer unos 15 minutos y triturar.
🔸️Servir calentita con los topings que quieras, échale imaginación, yo tosté una rebanada de pan de centeno integral con un chorrito de Aove y cilantro picado, y a disfrutaarrr 😋😋😋

Futurelife waffles😍

I ran out of protein this week and because January has been 27097 days long I had to improvise with breakfast! These flapjacks were super yummy and i was so happy eating them in the staff room this morning!

50g @futurelifeza
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking bowder
1/4 cup of water
1/2 tsp of sweetner (I used xylitol)

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Heat up the waffle iron and spray with Spray and cook! Pour about a spoonful of mix into the waffle iron and let it cook for 2 minutes.

I topped mine with fat free yoghurt, peanut butter and @eatnakednudefood Raw Honey.

Ingredients ⁣
1 onion, diced ⁣
3 tsp olive oil⁣
2 tsp crushed garlic⁣
1/2 tsp ginger, ground or 2 tsp fresh grated ⁣
2 tsp Garam masala⁣
1 tsp cumin⁣
1/2 tsp coriander ⁣
1/2 tsp chili powder⁣
1/2 tsp turmeric ⁣
1 tsp salt⁣
1/2 tsp black pepper⁣
1 medium head cauliflower ⁣
1 can chickpeas, drained ⁣
1 can tomatoes, diced ⁣
3/4 cup Greek yoghurt (substitute with coconut milk if you’re going vegan)⁣

Method⁣
Heat up a pot with olive oil and fry onion for about 5 minutes until soft. ⁣

Add in garlic and spices and fry for about 3 minutes. Splash in some water if it starts sticking to the bottom. Add in cauliflower florets, chickpeas and chopped tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes with the lid on. ⁣

Add yogurt and simmer for another 10 minutes with the lid off. Garnish with coriander or herbs of your choice and serve with basmati rice 😋⁣

Crispy Cauliflower
1 head of cauliflower, broken into florets [around 650-700g]
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs [45g]
6 tbsp (about 1/3 cup) fine breadcrumbs [60g]
*if you want to just use 1 kind of breadcrumbs you can use 1 and 1/4 cups
1/2 cup chickpea flour [60g]
3/4 cup water
Sauce
3 tbsp soy sauce, low sodium [45ml]
1 tbsp rice vinegar [15 ml]
1/4 cup grade A maple syrup [60ml]
1 tbsp sesame oil [15ml}
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
1 cup water
Cornstarch slurry: 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
2-3 stalks of green onion, chopped
Sesame seeds for garnish

METHOD

Preheat oven to 425F (218C). Cut the cauliflower in half and cut the green bottom off.

Break the cauliflower into medium sized florets. Then cut the stems off. The florets should all be around the same size.

Prepare chickpea flour “egg” wash by adding chickpea flour and water into a bowl and mix together until smooth.

Add the breadcrumbs into a big bowl.

Using one hand add a floret into the chickpea flour “egg” wash and drip off excess.

Then using the other hand coat the floret in the breadcrumbs. I also like to sometimes shake the bowl to coat it. Using a wet hand and dry hand will help make the process more efficient.

Place the cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Crispy Cauliflower
1 head of cauliflower, broken into florets [around 650-700g]
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs [45g]
6 tbsp (about 1/3 cup) fine breadcrumbs [60g]
*if you want to just use 1 kind of breadcrumbs you can use 1 and 1/4 cups
1/2 cup chickpea flour [60g]
3/4 cup water
Sauce
3 tbsp soy sauce, low sodium [45ml]
1 tbsp rice vinegar [15 ml]
1/4 cup grade A maple syrup [60ml]
1 tbsp sesame oil [15ml}
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
1 cup water
Cornstarch slurry: 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
2-3 stalks of green onion, chopped
Sesame seeds for garnish

METHOD

Preheat oven to 425F (218C). Cut the cauliflower in half and cut the green bottom off.

Break the cauliflower into medium sized florets. Then cut the stems off. The florets should all be around the same size.

Prepare chickpea flour “egg” wash by adding chickpea flour and water into a bowl and mix together until smooth.

Add the breadcrumbs into a big bowl.

Using one hand add a floret into the chickpea flour “egg” wash and drip off excess.

Then using the other hand coat the floret in the breadcrumbs. I also like to sometimes shake the bowl to coat it. Using a wet hand and dry hand will help make the process more efficient.

These are red potatoes that I sliced with my crinkle cutter, added some salt & pepper and baked at 400°F until crispy, turning once (took about 30 minutes).🥔 The rest of my bowl has steamed broccoli, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, pumpkin seeds, radish sprouts and a yummy roasted red pepper & garlic sauce.

Sauce: 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup almond milk yogurt, 2-3 teaspoons curry powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric (optional), 1/3 cup pumpkin purée, squeeze of lemon and a tablespoon coconut aminos with salt to taste. Add more yogurt if it’s not creamy enough. Chick peas: peel canned chick peas, toss in olive oil, spices and almond flour and roast on 400 for about 15 minutes until crispy.

Crispy Herbs Roasted Potatoes by @foodpassionical 😋 We love an easy roasted potatoes recipe!

Recipe:
4 potatoes
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp mix herbs basil, thyme, rosemary and parsley
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
2 tbsp coconut oil
Kosher salt .

-Wash the potatoes and cut into wedges.
-Preheat the oven to 200°c
-Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and drizzle with the coconut oil, garlic powder, mix herbs, chilli flakes .
- Coat well and bake for 25 to 35 minutes or till brown, tender and crispy.
- sprinkle with kosher salt - Serve with chilli sauce.

Recipe: (Serves 1) 
1 cup button mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped baby tomatoes
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/3 tsp chili
Salt to taste
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
Bunch of parsley - minced
If you want you can add 1 garlic clove
1 portion spelt spaghetti
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp ume su (optional)

Method:
1. Cook the spaghetti
2. On olive oil warm the spices and then add mushrooms(and minced garlic if using), season with salt
3. Sauté until slightly browned and fragrant, then add tomatoes and shoyu. Keep sautéing for 2-3 minutes until veggies are soft.
4. Add toasted sesame oil (for the added smokiness) and parsley. Mix in spaghetti. At this point I like adding a little bit more of olive oil for the taste.

The dough is super simple, made with 400g semolina and 180ml warm water. After 10 exhausting minutes of kneading the dough is smooth and has to rest for another 30 minutes before you can make your favorite shape with it in a pasta machine.
The pasta then only takes 3-4 minutes in hot (not boiling) water🍝
The filling is made out of vegan mascarpone, cooked and drained spinach, a pinch of nutmeg, rosemary and salt and pepper.

Toss 1 pound quartered yukon gold potatoes in 1 tablespoon olive oil; season with salt and pepper 2) arrange potatoes on a large baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes; remove from oven •• SALMON & ASPARAGUS: while the potatoes are roasting, combine 3 tablespoons @fourthandheart garlic ghee (or butter) + 2 cloves minced garlic + a splash of lemon juice in a small bowl; microwave for 30 seconds, or until melted. Season salmon and asparagus with sea salt + black pepper. Once the potatoes are removed from the oven, push them to one side of the baking sheet (they’re not finished cooking yet), and arrange salmon and asparagus as seen in the photo.
