PF: Kelly Olynyk 10 ppg 4.7 rpg 1.8 apg 46.3% FG 35.4% 3-FG
Olynyk’s 3-point percentage dipped last season, but he’s still a virtual lock to score in double figures and grab a few rebounds. His 3-point ability is big for the Heat to be able to spread the floor and that’ll allow Jimmy Butler the space to operate. Defensively, he gives his best effort so there’s that. #miami #heat #kellyolynyk #playerprofiles #NBA #Gettinbuckets

Is Miami a contender? Is Miami rebuilding? The Heat are coming into this season as one of the less-talked teams, but they had some surprisingly good moves during the offseason. After Wade danced for the last time, Miami went on to draft Tyler Herro from Kentucky and KZ Okpala from Stanford, two good prospects who'll certainly have a positive impact on the team's second unit. A few days later, Miami traded for Jimmy 'Buckets' Butler, who will be the Heat's star player, someone who can close out games. Then the Heat decided to deal Hassan Whiteside to Portland in exchange for Meyers Leonard, to get rid of some of the bad energy present in their locker room. Miami is also counting with Bam Adebayo, Dion Waiters, Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow, Kelly Olynyk, James Johnson and Derrick Jones Jr, who are a great group of role players that already have lots of minutes played together, which implies lots of team chemistry.
What do you expect from the Heat this season? 🤔 // #ball
