January 2019 vs December 2019. Almost a years difference between now and the last time I put on this class A. Same girl, same pose, just 60 lbs lighter and a WHOLE lot wiser. I have been slacking off the last 2 months and the ease of these pants going on, and having to add an extra hole to make my belt tighter has relit a fire in me. Used to I would feel like I could hardly breathe in this, today I'm comfortable and dont feel like I'm dying. 😂😂😂 I've lost a lot this year but what I've lost will never compare to what I've gained. #Keto locomoco with mustard gravy.

Ingredients- 1 lbs ground pork, salt, pepper, 1/3 cup finely diced onion, 2/3 cup chop onion. (I use one large onion) arrow root or keto thickener, 2 tbsp spicy mustard, 2 tbsp mayo, horseradish to taste, 1 cup beef broth, cheese slices of your choice, 1/2 sour cream, eggs, butter lettuce or whatever you like.
Mix your meat with finely diced onion, mayo and salt and pepper as you prefer. Form patties and cook. In same pan add onions to drippings and sauté. Once soft and arrow root or thickener. Then add beef broth. Cook until bubbling. Ass sour cream, mustard and horseradish to taste. If adjust thickness by adding more arrow root if needed. Set aside. Melt butter in pan and cook eggs to desired result (Ima over easy girl) place a hand full of your lettuce on a plate, put cooked patties on top. Place cheese on top and spoon gravy over cheese. Place eggs on top of that and a little more gravy.
This is a play on a Hawaiian favorite that I find lovely on cooler days and very satisfying. Makes three plates of two patties each.

If you know me, you know that I sit in the car of parking lots for several several minutes even perhaps an hour occasionally, until I’m ready to go inside of course.
We are holiday shopping and the kids are almost done, why does time seem like it’s going by so fast?
I wanted to stop and reflect on what I have accomplished in this entire year. THOUGH, it does not seem like a lot I know that it is a lot to my children and my family.

Yesterday I tried the Chicken Cantina Power Bowl from @tacobell (sans rice) and it was reallllllly good! I also didn’t feel like I was “cheating” since it’s you know kinda healthy 😉 Next time I’ll get it without the sour cream and avocado ranch because really, it’s not needed it’s that good ♥️

Pork belly Saturday looks set to be a thing in my household from now on after 2 consecutive Saturdays. I pop one in the oven on a Friday evening and we eat it cold for brunch on the go on Saturday. Easy. Tastes like crusty bread with soft lard and meat. 😋

📋 INGREDIENTS:

Shredded Cheese
Taco Seasoning
Ground Beef
Guacamole + Sour Cream (for dipping)

👨🏼🍳 INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cook ground beef with taco seasoning. Set aside.
2. Layer a small amount of shredded cheese in the bottom of large cupcake tin moulds, about 1cm thick.
3. Melt the cheese in oven until it starts to bubble on top.
4. Add cooked taco filling to each cheese taco shell, filling it only on my one side.
5. Fold over other side, and wah-lah! You have mini tacos! Filling can be changed to suit whatever you crave!
6. Enjoy with guacamole and sour cream dipping bowls!

I really focus on my fats during this period. Fats are so so important on keto. They keep us fuller for longer and help curb the sugar and carb cravings. It also helps give us energy, is good for our skin and helps absorb fat-soluble vitamins.

As much as I love pork belly and bacon, there's some healthier fat choices out there. .
Saturated fats -

🌲 Cheese (in moderation)

Went to London and Barcelona for a week and I didn’t stress about food while on vacation and gave myself a little break. Since I got back I haven’t had time to get to the grocery store which I finally did today. Meal prepped today so I can jump back into my diet tomorrow. Made beef stroganoff with asparagus for lunch next week. I sautéed mushrooms with garlic in butter and added some heavy cream, cream cheese, sour cream, pink Himalayan salt and pepper. Cooked 2lbs beef stew meat and added to the sauce and simmered for a few minutes to get the flavor locked in. Very excited to get back on track. Even my step son said it was delicious. #keto #ketomeals #ketomealprep

What are my thoughts on supplements?

I think your goal should be to use as little as possible. I'm not against supplements. Many have benefits but many many more are just garbage. Everyone is different but my recommendation is to try to get everything you can from food and if you feel it's still necessary than supplement if it makes sense for you and there is Science to back up what you are taking.

To be fair... For many years I tried many things so I don't want to sound like I'm preaching. I just feel that I've changed my mindset on them and feel that we just don't know enough about a lot of the stuff that is being sold. That is just me opinion and my perspective...... If you like them... Then do you. I won't judge

Here is what I take

Creatine 5 grams a day ( I do eat a fair amount of red meat but I still feel better taking this and knowing I'm saturated)

Electrolytes ( this I only take on fasting days and it's a real game changer for me)

And finally

Vitamin D.... Even in the summer months as it keeps my levels right in the sweet spot

I don't take protein or anything else at this stage of the game. Once I stopped taking whey my gut issues and bloating all went away

That's it ... That's my stash
And my old man thighs regarding this stuff ,😁👊 BTW.. The best advice I ever read when it comes to supplements is this... Be a late adopter. Don't jump on every trend. The Best Chicken Parmesan - Ingredients
Marinara Sauce  1 Tbsp olive oil  1/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion  2 garlic cloves, minced (2 tsp)  1 (28 oz) can crushed Roma tomatoes  1/4 tsp dried oregano  2 fresh basil sprigs*  salt and freshly ground black pepper
Chicken  2 (8 oz) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed, halved horizontally*, and pounded to 1/2-
inch thick  2 oz whole-milk mozzarella cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)  2 oz provolone cheese, shredded (1/2 cup) (I just bought a very thick slice from the deli counter,
then grated it)  1 large egg  1 Tbsp all-purpose flour  1 1/2 oz Parmesan cheese, finely shredded (1/2 cup)  1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs  1/2 tsp garlic powder  1/4 tsp dried oregano  1/3 cup olive oil  1/4 cup torn fresh basil - Instructions
1. For the sauce, heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
2. Add in onions and saute for 2 minutes then add garlic, and saute 30 seconds longer.
3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, 1/4 tsp salt, oregano, and 2 fresh basil sprigs, then season with salt
and pepper to taste.
4. Bring mixture to a simmer then reduce heat to low and allow to simmer 20 minutes, stirring
occasionally, until thickened. Remove basil, remove from heat and cover saucepan with lid.
5. For the chicken, while sauce is simmering, sprinkle each side of the chicken cutlet lightly with
salt, let stand at room temperature 10 minutes.
6. Adjust oven rack 4-inches from broiler element and preheat broiler.
7. In a shallow dish, whisk together flour and egg until smooth. In a separate shallow dish, toss
together Parmesan cheese, Panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, oregano and 1/4 tsp pepper.
8. Pat chicken dry with paper towels then working with 1 chicken cutlet at a time, dredge chicken in
egg mixture coating both sides and allowing excess to run off, then immediately transfer to
Parmesan mixture and coat both sides with mixture, while pressing to allow crumbs to adhere.
9. Transfer chicken to a plate and repeat process with remaining chicken cutlets. Pour olive oil into
a 10-inch non-stick skillet and heat over medium-high heat.

How did I get started? I started out keeping it very simple- cut out sugar, sodas (even diet), breads, chips, rice and pastas. I stuck to simple recipes and made sure I had food prepped and ready to go so I didn’t go scavenging for food. I took baby steps guys. I didn’t dive right into Keto because quite honestly I didn’t understand everything behind it so I needed to research more on it. I didn’t start out fasting🤷🏻‍♀️ I let my body go into it naturally. My point: how do you start losing weight?- you just start taking baby steps to your goal. Don’t wait until you have all the answers on what you’re suppose to do for this journey, you can figure all that out along the way. Non of us knew everything we know now before we started. Every person you follow for inspiration started at square one and were just as lost as you. The thing we all have in common is we just started one day and didn’t quit. We didn’t know everything about Keto or whatever way of eating or exercise program got us to our goals. We learned it along the way. Don’t think you need to know it all to get to the goal. Just start. Take it one day at a time and figure out the small stuff along the way. Fuel yourself with research and try to understand what’s going on in your body🖤🖤you don’t need to know it all, all you need to know is that you want this and you aren’t going to quit this time! One thing I hadn't mentioned is that I've been gradually working through those two boxes of hard seltzer I bought a while back. It hasn't been every night, it hasn't been more than two cans a night, and most nights I have any, it's usually one can.

I'm gonna GUESS this is the primary culprit. I've heard alcohol can bork weight loss on keto, and maybe I'm more susceptible than average. But I'm also not wasting this money. So what I'mma do is finish up this coming week (it's maybe 3 or 4 cans left at this point anyway) and then lay off the booze for a while and see what happens.

I'm still IN the 230s and not going back to the 240s so it's just a matter of tinkering really.

Here’s what you need:
6 slices zucchini
4 oz ground beef, divide into 3 portions
1 tbsp Sharp Cheddar spreadable cheese, divided into 3
Heat air fryer at 400F for 4 minutes. Next season your zucchini with salt and pepper and spray with avocado spray. Cook for 2 minutes on each side in the air fryer. Set aside
For each slider take half a portion of beef, press down, and add 1 tsp of our Sharp Cheddar cheese in the middle, take the other half of the portion of beef and seal the burger. Do this for the remaining 2 burgers.
Cook in skillet for 6 minutes over medium high heat and flip after 3 minutes
To plate: Zucchini slice on bottom, burger, tiny bit of mustard (or more of our cheese 🤫 we won’t tell 😉) and top with zucchini.

This Keto friendly recipe makes more than a mug full of cake - it’s actually a small dish full - and it’s WAY easier than actually making keto cinnamon rolls.

PRO-TIP: Always err on the side of LESS COOK TIME when you make a mug cake. This will make sure you get the perfect cake consistency to your mug cake, and that you don’t dry your cake out. Which can happen easily with them....So start with something like 30 seconds, and add time (10ish seconds at-a-time) until the center is just ever so slightly undercooked. It will keep cooking as it cools.

KETO CHOCO PANCAKES 🥞🍫🍽💃🏼 #sinharinas #singluten #lowcarb AIaiiiiaaiaiia hace cuánto que no preparaba pancakes no?? Cada vez que los hago me pregunto porqué no los preparo más seguidos si son tan ricos, saciantes y podes ponerle distintos toppings cada día 🤘🏻. Les dejo la receta para una porción pero pueden duplicar, triplicar o hacer la cantidad que quieran y stockear:
👉🏻2 cucharadas harina de almendras (o el bagazo de la leche de almendras)
👉🏻2 cucharadas cacao amargo en polvo @drcacaochocolates 👉🏻3 claras @eggcellencearg 👉🏻2 sobres de stevia @beepureoficial 👉🏻licuar para que quede bien esponjoso.
👉🏻en una olla o sartén (yo usé la Essen de @essenbyase que les mostré por stories: no necesita NADA de aceite) van volcando de a una cucharada generosa, cocinar unos mins hasta que solidifique y dar vuelta y cocinar unos segundos más. Repetir hasta terminar la mezcla. El tamaño lo pueden definir uds 👌🏻.
👉🏻agregar los toppings que prefieran!! Yo usé yogur de coco, frambuesas, banana y mini damascos de @fruvexdeli .
