This little guy always has my back.. A lot of my days exist out of coping with my struggles, the anxiety taking over my head.. Even a normal task as cleaning the house is exhausting.. I can start my day feeling like I can conquer the world but just 20 minutes into the routine I'm drained or even panicking.. Getting upset over nothing. It's strange and so not me but it sure helps talking to people who can relate and even give some awesome advise! Although I'm on a waiting list I'm trying real hard to fight and keep fighting cause I will get over this and learn how to yet again manage my thoughts not let my head take control. #burnout #mentalhealth #willbeatthis #gettingfit #girlswhoworkout #gettinghelp #thoughts #talking #therapy #wellbeing #conquer #getbackontrack #fighter

Because whilst I love and entirely support the #bekind movement, it can’t be relied upon. How many people have you seen preaching ‘be kind’ that you know full well haven’t been anything of the sort, either to you or someone you know. Can you yourself say that you have always been and always will be kind? We might all genuinely feel we do our best to act with kindness, that would be a wonderful world to live in, but ultimately we are human. Humans are complex. Humans make mistakes. Humans cannot be relied upon to always be kind. Most aren’t even kind to themselves, so how can they promise that to anyone else?
That’s where I believe something actually more important, maybe the most important, is to talk. Talk when someone hasn’t been kind to you. Talk when you haven’t been as kind as you wish you could have been. Talk about a rough day, week, month. Talk about something from years ago you thought you’d dealt with but you just haven’t. Talk about your worries for the future. Talk about that thing that seems so stupid to be upset about but you are. Just talk.
We can’t control other people’s standards of behaviour and sometimes questionable ideas of ‘being kind’. We can’t always control our reaction. What we can do, is talk. It’s not always easy, but when there’s nothing harder than feeling the way you might already feel, chances are it will be easier and feel better than you think!
Please talk, don’t leave people wondering why you didn’t and wishing so much that you had.
My job is about so many things, but ultimately, for me, it’s about people. My clients, some that feel more like friends. Future clients that I haven’t met yet. Every single one, I am here to listen to. Confidentially. Genuinely. Whole heartedly.
It doesn’t matter who you speak to, just try your best to do it. We should all try our best to #bekind but when reality and humans happen, make sure you #talk .

In the past, I didn't know that the right path to get out of my depression was to aware and declare my emotions. It is first and important step which we cannot skip (lesson learnt 😊). Back then, I jumped to the phase where I made conclusion what I needed to do to be happy without analyzing the cause which made me feeling sad and miserable.

By aware of our emotions, we learn to identify our feeling, and the cause why we are feeling that way so that we understand and finally we know what to do in the future if we face same situation. Besides, this can help us make boundaries in our life. Until we aware of our emotions then we finally can let go of the emotion.

If you do love a good, hearty gym workout, keep going. But if you don't, just getting off the couch and moving for a little while can help. Ideally, to prevent depression you should do at least 15 minutes a day of higher-intensity exercise, such as running, or at least an hour of lower-intensity exercise, such as walking or housework. The rucking school bus is always educational, and today’s lesson was an exciting one!
Today’s discussion focused on animals, and which ones are the fastest.
We did a little googling as we walked (but only when we weren’t on the road) and discovered that the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal overall, and can reach speeds of over 320km/hr when it is diving for prey!

The fastest ocean animal is the sailfish, which can reach speeds of up to 110km/hr.
On land, the fastest animal is the cheetah, which can reach speeds of up to 120km/hr when hunting.
We also found out that elephants can run at speeds of up to 40km/hr, however, technically, they don’t actually run because they always have at least one foot on the ground.

The rucking school bus is always educational, and today’s lesson was an exciting one! 
Today’s discussion focused on animals, and which ones are the fastest. 
We did a little googling as we walked (but only when we weren’t on the road) and discovered that the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal overall, and can reach speeds of over 320km/hr when it is diving for prey!

The fastest ocean animal is the sailfish, which can reach speeds of up to 110km/hr. 
On land, the fastest animal is the cheetah, which can reach speeds of up to 120km/hr when hunting. 
We also found out that elephants can run at speeds of up to 40km/hr, however, technically, they don’t actually run because they always have at least one foot on the ground.

Anger is a natural emotion. As humans it is integral that we experience anger. It shows us that a boundary has been broken, that we are hurt, that we feel rejection or abandonment. It shows us that we are human and we experience emotions. However, we need to feel the emotion, process it and not hold it inside. There are healthy ways to process anger, yet many of us have not experienced this in our early years. No caregiver held the space for us or showed us how to let out our anger in a way that is safe. The person we are hurting the most when we hold it in, blame others, hold grudges or blow up is ourselves. .

I needed to see this today.
I always end up wishing for something I don’t have and get jealous seeing others with what I truly want, whether it is a house or someone’s figure it eats me inside to not have those things.

I am working on myself, I am working on my future, on our future and we will get there.
The weight will go, the focus will replace it.
The dream home will happen, but these things take time.

I need to stop wishing my life away and start living in the present. One step at a time I will learn to be content with the now and focus on the day - not the milestone.

For years, and years, and years, I took out my anger, frustration, sadness, guilt, loneliness, exhaustion and emotional overwhelm on my myself.
I don’t know why I chose this as my method to ‘cope’ with life. But I do know that it became very addictive. I didn’t learn any healthy coping mechanisms as I grew up, I just used this one for everything.
I’ve been clean for four and a half years now. It’s funny, but when you take away an unhealthy coping mechanism you have no choice but to find HEALTHY coping mechanisms to get you through.
These days I practice listening to my body, if I feel upset or angry I talk about it. I don’t let it sit under my skin. I also use the word ‘NO’ a lot more now. Back in the day, I would say ‘yes’ to everyone and everything but feel angry and sad inside as I really wanted to scream NO. Nowadays, I don’t let it get to that point, I say ‘no’ straight away when I feel uncomfortable or disagree. This has lead me to live a much more authentic life as I can actually be my self!
I think as young women ( less so these days, thank god) we are taught to sit prettily and say ‘yes’, not to cause a fuss and be agreeable. I think this is hugely detrimental to our mental health.
Someone once said to me: “If you say yes to everything, what does it make your yes’s worth?’ It completely devalues your yes’s! I hope that make sense..👱🏻‍♀️🖖🏼🙂🐿 #womeninrecovery

An inquest into the late Love Island star Caroline Flack's death has confirmed she died by hanging on Wednesday 19 February.

Caroline, 40, was found hanged at her home in east London on Saturday 15 February, a coroner confirmed in at Poplar Coroner’s Court today.

Police had attempted to resuscitate the former Love Island presenter. The efforts were then continued by paramedics, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Personal results of berry capsules
It took about 3 or 4 days for my sleep to improve dramatically, I normally wake several times a night, to me this was ‘normal’ 😳 but since taking these, I’m definitely in a deeper & undisturbed sleep.
My skin is so much brighter and clearer, I used the capsules to make a face mask which left my skin feeling amazing too 🥰
My hair is softer, I can’t comment on growth as it’s only been a week or two so far.
I caught a cold off my dear darling son, and luckily I only felt the symptoms for a day or two, usually I’d be rough for at least a week with a common cold, but my immune system has definitely been boosted since taking these!

These last few weeks I have been tackling some of my more challenging and long standing food rules. It leaves me feeling extremely anxious and uncomfortable but with every single challenge I have faced in recovery, I know if I can sit through the discomfort and face the challenge again and again then it will become normal for me and no longer something that leaves me feeling so horrible. Recovery is not easy and if you aren’t feeling any discomfort then you are settling with what is comfortable rather than progressing through recovery and one day reaching true freedom from the eating disorder.

I AM FINALLY SEEING PROGRESS ITS CRAZY!!! I’ve lost 10lbs in the last month, my clothes are fitting so much better, I am staying consistent with my food choices, my mental health has been at its PRIME, & I’m just so so happy with my discipline skills lately!!

I don’t have a 6 pack, I’m not the strongest girl in the gym, I eat unhealthy food sometimes.. BUT that’s meee :) it’s not my goal to be at my goal ASAP. I love this journey. It’s been 2 years and I’ve learned so much about myself!

Until we share it with someone outside of our fishbowl, who can see the situation from the outside looking in, only then can we have significant revelations of what or who we need to let go of or distance ourself from, in order to reach our highest self. A girl at Starbucks today recognized me from the gym and asked me if I ever get tired. I want to share my answer to her as I know it will help those beginning their fitness journey or even those well experienced.
I forget that I was once a beginner, because its become innate through practice to fight through every challenge. The truth is, I don’t ever “not get tired”. I’m tired everyday. Its hard for me as well, but I prefer hard over easy any day. Tough times condition my character. I know what it feels like to not give it your all. I’ve been there, but I chose to not stay there. I chose to feel discomfort over defeat. I chose to give myself a chance rather than quit. So many people didn’t believe in me and I refused to be one of them. I believed in myself then and I still believe in how much more I can achieve. That’s where my mind is at. Moral of the story: I know it looks easy but remember to look beyond the surface. It’s taken me years and I’m still devoting the same work ethic. Hope this puts things into perspective. Love you guys♥️ Save this message for when you need it and share it with a friend.

My husband and I have decided to divorce after 9 years together.

At first, I fought it.

Total meltdown status.

Today, I embraced it!

It is not for lack of love that I want to leave my husband.

I want to leave him because I love him infinitely, unconditionally, forever, no matter what, and I deeply desire for him to live his best life.

Even if it’s not with me.

I know it’s best for both of us.

It took us both a lot of growth, self love, and acceptance to get to the point where we are ready to stop being codependent, and start growing and thriving beyond our wildest dreams.

I couldn’t be more proud of us for that.

I release all hurt, and choose to see the good.

Our relationship will never end, it is only changing form.

Like a bird soaring from a cage across an open sky, I am free.

I feel peaceful, blissful, and more inspired than ever.

During conversation with some dear friends last night, I discovered that this experience has given me a gift to share.

. ⚡️Shocking news: Emotional eating can be NORMAL! 😲Sometimes, if I am having a crummy day a brownie is just what i need to give me a mood boost. 🤷‍♀️BUT, I know it won’t fix the cause of my crummy mood.

I think this is really important to note. You CAN eat for other reasons than just hunger and fullness. Heck, having birthday cake🍰 at a birthday party to celebrate the joy of another year is an example of emotional eating! You might not be hungry, but you can still enjoy the cake!🙌🏻

But, like I said, we can’t expect emotional eating to cure our problems. 🙈Being aware of this is key. If you find yourself eating emotionally ask yourself, what would help me to address the emotions? 📝Journaling is something I usually recommend- it’s such a powerful and effective tool!

The next time you find yourself gravitating towards food when you’re feeling emotional (stressed, angry, anxious, happy, etc!) remind yourself that it’s okay to eat and don’t beat yourself up, but recognize that it won’t fix the problem. 💜Then do something that will: grab a journal, call a friend, take a walk to clear your head, etc.
