When Noddy learnt walking, little did I know that it would mean the end of my casual outings to restaurants. Planning a dinner meet up with friends seems like an impossible task now. So much so that I have turned down so many invitations from friends I haven't met since a long time .
From poop leaking out of the diaper and the clothes, to running around and picking up things from the floor to eat, spilling water on the table, running and paying peek a boo with curtains and getting hurt in the process, greeting random strangers.. we've had it all. 🤣
.
Honestly, I do get irritated and the entire purpose of an outing for a break gets defeated. But that doesn't mean we stop living the way we do . Sure we have meltdowns but we have our fun moments too and Noddy also loves meeting new people. .
It's a phase and it will pass. What will remain is the memories.. sometimes beautiful and sometimes funny. So I am busy soaking it all up. What about you?! .

Those who follow my stories know that we had been to a water park today....it was Raisha's first time in a pool and my first after pregnancy..😂
I wanted her to experience water as early as possible...we were a little late introducing it to her. Anyways, as expected she loved it and we had a lot of fun..she was mostly cared for by her papa and I was revising my swimmining ( read 'not to drown' 🤣😂) skills.
Here are a few basic tips which you check follow while taking your toddler to a pool or water park:
1. Sunscreen : please use a good sunscreen, our skin gets affected so badly by Sun, imagine the state of a baby's skin. I used @mamaearth.in, I will be able to judge better how it worked tomorrow, for now I don't see her tanned much.
2. Lots of wetbags : carry at least 4 for towels and wet clothes. These were a saviour from all the mess. I used @bumpadum and @superbottoms
3. Carry something to eat for the toddler. Mine did not eat anything at all..only survived on milk which I had carried for her. She was super hungry though after wards.
4. Carry water : very essential to be hydrated.
5. Swimming costume : a pocket diaper without insert will also work good as a swim diaper.
6. Clean the kids as soon as you are home. Give them a nice warm bath.
7. Apply a good moisturiser after bath. I use @sebamedindia

Will post more photos.. right now..I am exhausted by all the circus we did in the water 😂
