Hola! 😊 Te quiero contar un poco de mi historia, y el motivo por el que publico mis comidas, mi nombre es Ariana, tengo 30 años, soy Caraqueña, Venezolana, latinoamericana, estoy aquí para enseñarte mi camino, que puede ser parecido al tuyo, nunca igual, he ido a miles de nutricionistas, médicos, he tomado pastillas, me he realizado cuanto invento ha creado el humano para reducir mi peso, tengo una manga gástrica, dentro de toda mi ignorancia y mi desespero por quitarme los kilos de más, siempre he sido la gordita para todo el mundo, un apodo que es en teoría cariñoso pero que retumba en la mente, de corazón te digo lo que estoy haciendo desde hace 1 año aproximadamente, eliminé el azúcar de mi vida, el gluten, los alimentos procesados (aprender a leer la lista de ingredientes de todo lo que compró), estoy iniciando nuevamente mi rutina en el gimnasio (abandoné por una lesión en mi brazo), todo el 2019 hice alimentación paleo, para poder realizar la transición a keto, tengo una semana haciendo keto total y no he tenido ansiedad, ni hambre, realmente cuando experimentas contigo y con los alimentos, aprendes a escuchar tu alma y a no llenar vacíos con comida empiezas a sanar de adentro hacía afuera, hay que brillar con intensidad, con amor y con respeto, queremos salud? Pues vamos a llenar nuestro cuerpo y nuestros platos de nutrientes y no de basura y chatarra, seamos curiosos, vamos a estudiar, a leer y aprender, pero sobre todas las cosas vamos a escuchar a nuestro cuerpo. 1 tbsp butter for frying.

Most of my mom clients ask me about easy kid-friendly recipes they can prepare especially during school days. Here’s one of my favorites, Gluten-free Chicken Strips with Creamy Avocado Dip 🥑

During my meal prep days (which is during weekends), I make a small batch of this and freeze it. I simply take it out from the freezer and bake or pan-fry. Perfect for those busy nights too when you need a quick meal without a hassle. 👌🏼

A Sandwich is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as; "Two slices of bread enclosing a filling". In this case a filling of peanut butter.

In The Game Changers (a recent doco) they make the point that protein can also come from plants. -
Fortunately, many people have tried to "debunk" this fact (and many others). -
But when they mention peanut butter sandwiches they forget that there is bread in a sandwich, thus meaning you only need less than 2 tablespoons of peanut butter; rather than the 4 tablespoons which they were crying about when calculated on their own without taking into account the bread. -
So my question to you; Can you really trust someone for nutrition advice when they don't even know what a sandwich is?

Jokes aside, you can see the comparison above, not only do you get more protein, but you also get less saturated fat which is linked with heart disease and type 2 diabetes risk but also a lot more fibre which is linked with reduced risk of certain cancers and a longer life expectancy. -
But of course this is a very narrow way of thinking. And rather think this way, I encourage you to think about the big picture . This is what I do with my clients. If they have a goal, I look at everything they eat as a whole (and the amounts) to envoke change. -
One salad won't make you thin, and one donut won't make you fat.

6. Cook the tomatoes down for 5-10 minutes on a low heat.
7. Next, make 6 dips / holes in the sauce.
8. Then crack the eggs into the holes.
9. Cover the pan or put pan in oven. Cook for 5-10 minutes until eggs are set.
10. Remove from pan. Garnish with parsley or coriander, season with salt.

After surviving the 1.5 hour commute home during #snowpocalypse2020 , the last thing I wanted to do was come up with a compliant meal. My fridge is bare, my leftovers are depleted... but I was able to throw together this BLT Burger salad that was just filling enough. Now I can spend my evening snuggling these cute critters and avoiding the inches of snow that are piling up outside my window. Meal 48... complete.

BANANA CASHEW BUTTER PANCAKES 🥞. A beaten egg white elevates these cakes from flat to fluffy (totally optional but encouraged). I've been making them on repeat the past few weeks and don't see myself stopping anytime soon 🙌🏻. Leftovers can be stored in ziplog bags in the fridge for a couple days or in the freezer for a few months (just pop 'em in the toaster to reheat!).

peanut butter chocolate chip mug cake 😛🤤🥜🍫 haven’t made a mug cake in awhile so thought it was time to try out a new combo !! whenever your craving something sweet but don’t feel like making a whole batch of anything make thisssss also in takes probably 5 mins in total 💯
recipe - 2tbsp maple syrup, 1 flax egg, 1tbsp peanut butter (or other nut butter), 1tsp baking powder, 2.5tbsp all purpose flour, chocolate chips. add everything to mug / small bowl and stir till combined. add chocolate chips on top , microwave 45 sec and i drizzled some peanut butter on top 😋 •

peanut butter chocolate chip mug cake 😛🤤🥜🍫 haven’t made a mug cake in awhile so thought it was time to try out a new combo !! whenever your craving something sweet but don’t feel like making a whole batch of anything make thisssss also in takes probably 5 mins in total 💯 
recipe - 2tbsp maple syrup, 1 flax egg, 1tbsp peanut butter (or other nut butter), 1tsp baking powder, 2.5tbsp all purpose flour, chocolate chips. add everything to mug / small bowl and stir till combined. add chocolate chips on top , microwave 45 sec and i drizzled some peanut butter on top 😋 •

BLUEBERRY BANANA CASHEW BUTTER BLENDER MUFFINS -
One blender. Zero mixing bowls. Minimal time requirement. Maximum looooove. Let me know if you try ‘em!

1 cup creamy cashew butter
2 large, super spotty ripe bananas
2 eggs
2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup fresh blueberries -
1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease a muffin tin with butter or coconut oil; set aside.
2. Combine all ingredients in a blender, except blueberries (or food processor); blend until smooth, approximately 1 minute. Gently fold in blueberries. Pour batter into prepared muffin tin and top with additional blueberries, if desired. Bake for 15 minute, or until set.

Easy breezy dinner brought to you by BAKED LEMON GARLIC BUTTER TILAPIA 🍋🌱🥰 Made this tender + flaky fish for the fam while I was in Boise and wish I was going for a round two tonight because it was *that* good 👏🏻.

BAKED LEMON GARLIC BUTTER TILAPIA
I prefer Colombian tilapia because it’s ethically, responsibly, and sustainably raised 💯. It can be found at Costco and BJ’s!
2-3 tablespoons, ghee or butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice, or more, to taste
Zest of 1 lemon
3-4 tilapia fillets
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly oil an 8x8  baking dish or coat with nonstick spray. In a small bowl, whisk together ghee, garlic, lemon juice and lemon zest; set aside. Season tilapia with salt and pepper and place onto the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with ghee/butter mixture. Place into oven and bake until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 10-12 minutes. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley. #AsExcitingAsItsOrigin #ColombianTilapia @procolombiaco

In other news, I stopped at Trader Joe’s earlier and came home with a box of their brand new almond flour chocolate chip cookie mix. Considering cancelling my wine date tonight in favor of a date with cookies + couch (seriously) 🤔. Happy almost Friday! ❤️
