@HodoFoods launched chainwide in @Publix last month and can now be found in the plant-based case located in the store’s produce section. With the addition of Publix, Hodo is now available in 5,500 retail locations nationwide, including Whole Foods, Target and Natural Grocers.

The brand previewed its new plant-based Cajun Burger at #ExpoWest last year, and launched it in retailers in October.

Rice mixed sauteed veggies and rice. A staple in our house. This one was a little Asian with some brown sugar, soy, sriracha, and some fresh orange juice. So so simple and so tasty! All these veggies were frozen by the way. Two different bags of veggies from aldi.

Today we are going to be making a “Simple Massaged Kale Salad”

All you need is:
•1 large bunch curly kale
•2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
•Juice of 1 lemon
•1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
•Freshly ground black pepper to taste
•1/4 cup nutritional yeast
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Only 2 steps and yummy dinner is ready:

I love making these tacos because they take so little time and they are so rewarding (especially after a gruelling workout!)⁠

They also work great as a post-workout meal as they are high in protein and carbs which help facilitate fast recovery after your workouts.⁠

So, here’s what you’re going to need for these mouth-watering east-to-make tacos:⁠

✅ 4 oz Tempeh⁠
✅ 4 Corn Tortillas⁠
✅ 1/2 Cup Lettuce⁠
✅ 1/2 Cup Mango⁠
✅ 1/2 Cup Tomatoes⁠
✅ 1/4 Cup Onions⁠

+ Cilantro & Lime juice to flavor⁠

Once you have cooked the Tempeh with the Onions, add in the tomatoes, lettuce and mango plus the cilantro/lime juice.⁠

Then once everything is mixed together, add them to the corn tortillas and enjoy!⁠ ⁠

Well, helloooooo there 👋🏽 ⠀

It’s been a while! I know nobody cares about my food, but I’ve recently decided to start eating a more plant-based diet 🌱 LOL I feel soooo lame writing about this, but any who, I’m just proud of how friggin NUTRIENT DENSE 🥗 🍊 🥒🥦🍓🥝 my food was today!⠀

I am a self-proclaimed JUNK FOOD JUNKIE 🍕 🍟 🍔 🍪 🍦...I lovessss it lol but I knew I needed to make a change. Even when I eat healthier, my food is rather bland in color, and I felt like my body really needed a more colorful palette 🎨 ⠀

My morning smoothie:⠀
Blueberries ⠀
Strawberries⠀
Banana⠀
Spinach⠀
Maca powder⠀
Unsweetened almond milk⠀

Lunch was a Mediterranean veggie sandwich from Panera Bread, and I was pleasantly surprised 😋 ⠀

Dinner was a salad with kale, cabbage, carrots, green onion...basically it was the Asian Chopped Salad from HEB, broccoli, avocado, chickpeas, and ginger sesame dressing + SWEET POTATO fries made in the air fryer 😋 😋 😋 ⠀

I also snacked on a clementine, habanero almonds (BOMB BOMB BOMB...you must try these), and a little bit of granola ⠀

Hello everybody, tomorrow is grocery day so I didn't waste anything and cook all the veggies in one dish as you can see. We have cauliflower in a sauce and sauteed veggies and rice😋😋😋 tasty and plantbased 🌱🌱
For the sauce: we sauteed half onion , half leeks, 2 gloves of garlic in 3tbsp of olive oil for 5 min then we add one diced tomatoe 3tbsp of tomato ragu sauce, half cup of chikpeas and for the spices we use half tsp of ( paprika, coriander powder, cumin) salt and pepper we mix everything together and then we add water and let it cook for around 25 min.
For the cauliflower: we boil them don't make them mushy then we dip them in almond milk and then in bread crumbs then we fry them.

It’s my hump day, and here’s to throwBACK Thursday (get it? 😅) — I’m definitely missing the stage and these shreds, but since December, I’ve added 5lbs of lean mass and that’s only a few months into this improvement season. The next time I step on stage, it’s going to be a whole new package and I can’t wait to see what’s hiding under all this bulk 😜

Make ahead kale salad and avocado with creamy garlicky cashew dressing. I love to massage the dressing real well in my kale salad and let it sit in the fridge for a little bit before I eat them. I made a big bowl that will last me for several meals.👌🏼 I used @traderjoes cruciferous crunch salad on this recipe.😍

Vegan Sweet Potato Casserole! Every day is a Holiday when you’re Vegan 😉 This recipe is inspired by @nora_cooks_vegan_ , however I changed quite a few things to make it much healthier, but it still turned out delicious! Ingredients:
About 8-9 cups peeled, cooked sweet potatoes (about 5 large potatoes)
1 package of silken tofu (blend in blender with 1 tbsp maple syrup until a thick liquid forms, about 15-20 seconds)
1/4 coconut sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Pecan Topping:
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/2 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup finely chopped pecans (I didn’t have any, so had to use walnuts, but worked just fine!)
Instructions:
Put cooked, skin-less sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl. (Mine were right out of fridge and cooked a few days prior, so if they’re not warm or room temp, then increase cooking time by 10 minutes). Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl with the cooked sweet potatoes, add the blended silken tofu, 1/4 cup coconut sugar, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, and gently mash with a potato masher until well combined.
Spread the potato mixture in the prepared casserole-style dish (roughly 9 x 13 in) and smooth it out evenly with a spatula.
Make the topping: In a medium bowl, stir all the topping ingredients together with a spoon, except the pecans (or walnuts). Use your hands if necessary. Then mix in the pecans (or walnuts). Evenly spread the topping on the sweet potato filling and bake for 45-50 minutes, until bubbly on the edges and the topping is golden brown. I was skeptical. Very skeptical
I was unsure.
I was pretty sure it wouldn’t work.
But I took a chance anyways.

I did it because I didn't want to be #tired forever.
I did it because I wanted a better quality of #life.
I did it because I was tired of having to think about how quickly I moved every time I got up so I wouldn’t black out.
I did it because I didn’t want to be miserable and bloated forever.
I did it because my #health matters.
I did it because B’s health matters.
I did it because my family’s lives matter.
I did it for #freedom.
I did it for #ME.

•Copaiba, Frankincense & Lavender are our go toos!!! And then a heavy sleep time blend to help keep her settled during the night. ⠀

NOW I still give her Panadol & Nurofen because hey I don’t want to see my baby in pain BUT I make sure everything I pop on her gums and use on her body is chemical free!!! ⠀

Well, nothin says lovin’ like a box of Plant Based cheeses at your doorstep! Cheddar, pepper jack, mozzarellas, and let me tell you they are GOOD! I honestly haven’t even bothered with anything other the one I tried last week because I’ve heard they all taste like hot garbage. But these?! Even Ella likes them. Don’t even ask me where to get them cause they aren’t even out on the market yet! Today I am sick.

My body hurts. My head aches. I am trying to stay away from my kiddos so no one else gets sick.

I could not have gone into a job today. But guess what I did?

Chatted with my MPs, watched TV, answered messages about products, slept off and on, and sent someone a cart who wanted to sign up as a VIP.

My hair is crazy (thanks to my hoody) and once again, I have on no makeup.

That’s what I love about this job. I don’t have to change my life or convince others to change theirs.

I am just helping you get better, healthier hair and skin.

Sometimes I do that from my bed, my dining room table, on my phone, or at Starbucks.

MONAT works with my life, and subsequently has changed my life in such a positive way.

If you are looking for something to work with your way of life, let’s chat. As always, I am an open book!! (I am also stuck in bed, so there’s that too.😆)

🍝😋 Spaghetti in a rich, creamy tomato sauce! 📷 by @earthofmariaa 🍝👉Recipe: 150g gluten-free spaghetti
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 can chopped tomatoes
3 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 cup plant based milk
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
Sea salt to taste
Black pepper to taste

Cook the spaghetti according to packaging instructions. Meanwhile, add the garlic to a non-stick frying pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened. Then, add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, plant based milk, paprika, cumin and tamari. Stir for 4-5 minutes, then drain the spaghetti and stir into the sauce. Serve with black pepper on top.

half baked, half not...sign me up for VEGAN PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE DOUGH BROWNIES. they’re fudgy, a much better for you treat & the best tasting thing EVER. you can definitely sub with another nut or seed butter. run to your kitchen to make your vegan dessert dreams come true 💕
for the brownie, in a bowl, mix:

2 cups almond flour
1 tbsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp olive oil or liquid coconut oil
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
one flax egg (1 tbsp flax meal + 3 tbsp water)
1/3 cup cacao powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
3 tbsp maple syrup
evenly distribute in an 8x8 or small baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.
cool completely and add the cookie dough layer
in a bowl, mix:

Stir-fry Hokkien Noodles 😍
This delicious lunch literally took me 15 minutes to whip up! 👌🏼 I don’t have the exact measurements for this recipe, but I’ve popped the rough recipe down below if you want to give it a go. 😌✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Fill a saucepan up with water and bring it to the boil. Add in 500g fresh hokkien noodles and gently separate all the noodle strands. After about 1min strain and set aside.
2️⃣ Fry your choice of vegan protein (I used firm tofu & vegan chicken) until golden and crispy. Set aside.
3️⃣ In a large wok, heat up 1 tbsp oil on high heat. Add in 1 sliced onion, 1 large peeled carrot (thinly sliced) and 1 clove garlic (roughly chopped). Add in 1-2 tbsp of water to help it cook and stir-fry for 2 mins.
4️⃣ Add in your noodles, 1 bunch broccoli or 1 cup broccoli florets and 1 cup of sliced cabbage. Stir-fry for 2 mins and toss together.
5️⃣ Time to season! No measurements here, so adjust to taste. I used a mix of dark soy sauce (for colour), light soy sauce (for saltiness), vegan mushroom oyster sauce, coconut sugar and a pinch of ground black pepper. Add in a small splash of water, toss everything together to coat in the sauce and pop the lid on and cook for 1-2 min.
6️⃣ Remove lid, add in a big handful of finely sliced spring onions, fry for another 30 sec then turn the heat off. Finish it off with 1 tbsp of toasted sesame oil, sesame seeds and more spring onions. Enjoy!!!! 🤤🤤 #ThrivingOnPlants 🌱
