    5 FACTS about me 🤓⠀
1️⃣ I come from a small village in Lower Saxony 🇩🇪 ⠀
I grew up in a very calm and beautiful countryside, met my friends on the football field after school because that’s what we did in the nineties. I was able to develop myself completely and I truly appreciate that, especially when I first experienced on my own the standards of living in third world countries. ⠀
⠀
2️⃣ I am willing to be a (realistic) optimist 👍🏼 ⠀
I’m living my third decade on this planet now and I already reached a point in life where I caught myself doubting a dozens of time. The last time was at the end of my studies 👨🏽‍🎓 In these moments there was always a little voice in my head asking me: ”Do you think you got what it takes?” 🤔
But beside this blurry voice there was another much clearer and louder voice telling me: ”Push through it, you got this!”
So I did and the blurry voice is getting quieter from time to time. ⠀
⠀
3️⃣ I care about other people’s opinion 💭 ⠀
But it does not affect me in my actions and progress.⠀
That was probably one of the toughest lectures in my life, to realize that I’m in charge of myself, not my family nor my friends or anyone else. ⠀
⠀
4️⃣ Spoken words still got value for me 💬 ⠀
Even if this seems to get out of style. ⠀
⠀
5️⃣ I’m a harmonious person ☯️ ⠀
I place great value in trust, kindness and honesty. It feels good giving it and everyone receives the same chance by me, but you better don’t fool me twice 😏 ⠀
⠀
Do you identify yourself in one of my facts? ⠀
⠀
See my story to get to that outfit ☝🏽 ⠀

Bez zadawnionych waśni i urazów?

🇺🇸📷 Today it will be a bit more serious, because during a trip to the #city  #harbor of #wroclaw I was still thinking about one thing - do we, as humanity, still need historical memory? From the Polish point of view, this question seems even absurd, especially in a place where the inscriptions of Russian occupants still appear on the walls of former German buildings... But maybe these 80 years of peace is enough to leave the #past behind? Maybe it is time to forget the harm, fill up the bunkers and start to build an agreement based on what the post-war generations know? Without old feuds and injuries? I do not know. Sometimes I would like it to be so, but I know that too much harm has happened in the past. One thing I'm sure is that we should use history to build, not divide!
