This is not the best Tarantino film ever, but man, this is fucking amazing.
Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in the same film is crazy. The two had dynamic chemistry, really entertaining both of their performances. Can't ask for a better film to see these two act together.
Since the film is loosely based on the real and sad events surrounding the Manson murders, I was scared that the film might be disrespectful or tasteless. Thankfully, Tarantino did not do such thing and was still very respectful to the memory of Sharon Tate, played by Margot Robbie, which was also excellent in the film.
Overall, this film is a love letter to old Hollywood, it's a love letter to film making and film production. It's very entertaining, witty, funny, and so fucking unique. You will be hard-pressed to find a film so nuanced and unconventional like Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

Although universally loved by almost anyone who has seen this film, I don’t particularly like it. This Tarantino film sits only above Jackie Brown and Death Proof for me in my overall rankings as I found the narrative to be too basic and drawn out for such a runtime as it’s 165 minutes. As you can see above, it does look stunning, and the film has its fair share of superb performances and thrilling action sequences... However, the strange soundtrack mixed with the mediocre plot really doesn’t do it for me. Maybe all I need is rewatch. .

Most Influential (Top Frame): Pulp Fiction, sure it's literally a movie made from influences, but Tarantino as a pastiche filmmaker essentially created a genre of its own with his chronology and iconic dialogue style. Overhyped, maybe, but incredible nonetheless.
