Almost 8lb lost in 2 week's.
No real diet as such. Just cut out most (not all) snacks in between meals and maximum of 45 minute workouts either cardio or weights in the gym 4 times a week (more if I can). Can't really complain at that 🤷🏻‍♂️ Keep this up and I'll be like a Greek God by the time my holidays/wedding comes around 💪🏼😂 217 days until we jet off and 222 days until we get married.
Just need to keep this motivation going.

Tired to do the CTC again and I really struggled. Felt like it was on df200, actually was df132, and I couldn't generate any more power.

It was a rapid decline in confidence during the rest and even quicker in the second rep, even though I dropped drag to 124. I desperately need a confidence boost and soon as EIRC is too close now to feel like I'm stuck in third gear.
.

As punishment I programmed in a 5k almost straight away which soon ramped up as I got into it. This felt quite good and tough and equal measure.
.

I have two comments about this. 1) I'm getting too comfy at lower rates. I used to thrive at r28/30 now it feels like a bit of a challenge, which is something I need to quickly change. 2) maybe I now do need to warm up. I never used to benefit from it, but now I'm getting older I am wondering if not warming up is holding me back.

Slow and controlled or heavier with more jerky movement. Personally I prefer the slower movements as I can really feel the muscle working. But the heavier movements are also essential in building up strength and power.

Today was crazy 8’s at my bootcamp class. 8 rounds of 8 each of burpees, snatch and press per arm, slam balls, kettlebell weighted squats, push ups, reverse lunges per leg, wall ball sit ups, 200m run/row/ski erg. I made it with a minute to spare. It was tough! But I did it and it felt good despite the knee giving me issues.

Wide Grip Rows. A properly preformed wide grip row will focus more on the upper back and include more of the trapezoid, rhomboid and rear deltoid muscles. It of course works the latissimus dorsi as well, but incorporates other muscles to a larger degree than the narrow grip row.

Row, Row, Row your boat.......

Here's a quick tip for rowing on the cable machine. Watch the angle of your body when performing this exercise, you'll get a lot more range of motion if you lean slightly forward believe it or not. .
.
If it's so heavy that you have to lean so far back that your heads in line with your ass, give yourself an ego check and drop the weight. .
.
Keep a good posture and technique you'll give yourself the best opportunity to get stronger and avoid injury! . .

♾Grab a pair of dumbbells for this fun 4 exercise circuit... if today’s a rest day for you - save it for later! .

💪🏼The focus is upper body ...and a little core work of course 😁:
1️⃣Bear row to renegade #row.
To modify lower your knees on both movements.
2️⃣Tricep press to leg raise.. keep your arms off the ground at the bottom of the press. Be sure to press your back into the ground. To modify this one bend your knees.
3️⃣Half kneeling press. Keep your back leg engaged; knee of off the ground. To modify lower your knee.
4️⃣Reverse fly, tricep kickback to curl. In the bent over position be sure to engage your #core and stabilize by squeezing your #glutes. When returning to standing for the curl, drive through your heels and use your hips 🍑. #hiphinge .
▶️Try 30-45 seconds each 3-5 rounds. Adjust it to your body and have fun with them! .

How can I get started on a healthy lifestyle? I got some questions about that around New Year... perhaps their are some out their making New Year’s resolutions. Well... here are three tips I found pretty workable and good to think about.
-
1, Set goals that you can reach pretty easy. Don't fall into the trap of going from 0 to 100 - with six days a week of training and some extreme diet, for example
Maybe it's about taking a walk once a week. And when that feels good, take two, and so one. We don’t need that much to see results.
If we, on the other hand, start to heavy there is always a big risk that we will quit.
-
2, Find something fun. Perhaps the gym is not for you, and far from everyone loves to run (I hate it 🙂). Dare to give it some time, and test different things. If you don't like what you do it will be harder, especially those days when your motivation isen’t on top.

3, Start from yourself, your body, your mind. Remind yourself that it's okay to do what you can. Do not define yourself based on the ideals that the world sets, or people you follow on social medias. Be you! ——————————————
And some will of course say that this is some crapy advice... and thats ok 👍. If you have anything else thats works for you... follow that! What ever works....
