    Neymar 🇧🇷 Dribbling & skills game.

Players play 1 vs 1 trying to beat each other with dribbling techniques and samba skills. The aim is to score in the mini goal the opposite end of the pitch. If a player gets scored past then they are out the game. New player joining the pitch always starts with the ball so they have the advantage. It’s winner stays on till only 1 player is remaining ⚽️

    FC Barcelona shooting drill ⚽️ Start with 12 players. Players work in groups of 3 so 3 players behinds the 3 cones, 2 feeders, 1 goalkeeper. The feeders need a supply of balls and 2 groups of the attackers need a ball each. Play starts with the middle attacker taking 1 touch to set himself then shooting on goal from distance. The attacker to the right then plays a one two give an go pass with him before taking a first touch shot on goal. The central player then spins to the right to receive a pass from the feeder and crosses the ball into the box for the arriving 2 other attackers to challenge the goalkeeper for the header on goal. The second feeder then plays the ball out to the wide player to make a second cross for the 2 players to again attempt an attack on goal with the header or volley.

The players then reset joining the back of the line and switch positions by moving one place to the right so all players get to try out the 3 phases of the play, the second group of 3 players then start their attack sequence. Main coaching points are to strike the ball with power and accuracy from distance, good movement and communication off the ball and good crosses ensuring you avoid the goalkeeper ⚽️

Main aims are accurate good weighted short and long passes, when receiving long pass one touch lay off if possible or good control to lay off with second touch. Session can then be repeated the opposite way to practice use of the left foot.

If the player misses by either shooting wide or the goalkeeper saving it then that player goes into goal and the goalkeeper rejoins the back of the line. As soon as the player takes the shot the coach can pass the next ball into play so players must be aware and ready to move quick into the next phase of play. Players must always go back up the field past the cones to start their next turn. The coach keeps passing balls into play until only 1 player is left standing the winner ⚽️
