Have limited gym equipment but need an effective workout? Here are some moves you can do with dumbbells and a pull up bar.
Due to limited equipment at my hotel gym, I could not lift as heavy as I would have liked to. No barbell and no dumbbells over 50 lbs. Usually I front squat ~155 lbs but today I used a 50 lbs dumbbell and did gobblet squats WITH a 4 second pause at the bottom. .

This was a great way to increase intensity without adding more weight. You can add a pause to most moves to increase intensity. For example pull-ups, hold/pause your position at the top of the bar, back squat, hold your position at the bottom of the squat, chest press, hold your position on the bottom of the lift. Hold to maintain tension, do not rest. You will feel the difference! .

When I travel and hotel gym equipment is limited I often include body movements like push ups, pull ups, handstand push ups, jump squats, and walking lunges. Be creative and don’t reduce your I intensity just because your equipment is limited. .

Had a good day yesterday did some light #deadlifts and #squats did some touch and go and deadlifts with 405 and went to 415 on squats. Two years ago before I got patellar tendinitis. One thing I’ve learned with injuries or tendon/joint problems is you set yourself back a lot further by not resting even though you think missing the gym or not hitting it with the same intensity for a few weeks will make you “lose your gains”, but studies show that muscle atrophy doesn’t even begin until a minimum of two weeks of no exercise so don’t fret giving yourself a proper recovery 🙌🏽 ⁣

This is an exercise you don’t have to go super heavy on because you want to focus on form and good consist reps. Try a rep range of 15-20 and feel the burn. About to clean this house and work out. When I bought this outfit I had imagined I would already be back to my prepregnancy weight. It’s been one year since I had my fourth baby. But I still have an extra 20 pounds that I am carrying. Which is OK. I’m going to try and do better with my clean eating. Since that seems to be my biggest struggle. It’s hard being a mother to four small children. Working full-time. While also being in college full-time. "Truly a raw lifter" SOUND ON!
For everyone asking. My meet was amazing! I hit a 590kg/1300lb total which I didn't think I was going to get. I PR'd all of my lifts.
This is the video from my final squat, 205kg/452lbs!

So as you’ve probably guessed, ya girl loves her caffeine! ☕️🤍 During a cut however, it’s important to make sure that you’re not adding too many empty calories into your diet (ie creamers and sugar in your coffee). •

While cleaning up my diet and limiting caffeine intake during a cut, I still enjoy 1-2 cups of black coffee each day 💕 •
Here’s what I like to add to my coffee to enjoy it even more: •
🤍 Stevia 🤍 Cinnamon 🤍 Coconut oil (not during prep though 🥰) What are your healthy coffee choices?? ☕️ 🤍
