Cracking heavy deadlift session last Friday @gladiator_barbell.
Another 2.5kg added on making it 287.5kg for this weeks max effort. (Vid 1)A little slower than I would have liked but it wasn’t quite sitting right in my right hand.
Last video is the 9th and last set. Which was 240kg for 6 reps.

Switched back to sumo.
Having fun with training recently. I was on a proper #powerbuilding programme since Jan and decided to mix things up. Same as in my personal life, I'm stopping putting pressure on myself unnecessarily and not thinking everything has to be 'perfect'. I don't have to have perfect hair and a tan. I can leave that dish on the side overnight and I dont have to Hoover the whole house as soon as there is a crumb on the floor. I was draining myself. So I've done it with training too. Getting to the gym when I can, training what I feel like but still with a goal in mind to keep me on track. I'm currently in a 'cut' loosely but if I'm craving chocolate, I'll have a little bit. Anyone else always feel this pressure? A common error when doing lifts from the hang, especially when starting from knee-height, is to get into the power position much too soon. In the setup for both of these lifts the shoulders are in good position over the bar and the shins are vertical, as they should be. At the initiation of the first lift the rebend of the knees happens immediately and the shoulders begin moving behind the bar. In the second lift as the bar comes up off the blocks the shoulders stay over the bar longer and the rebend of the knees is delayed. The bar travels up to mid-thigh before the transition into the power position begins instead of starting as soon as the bar passes the knees. The benefits to staying over the bar longer like this is that the bar generally stays closer and the turnover into the receiving position is quicker

Holy Quads!

Today, I worked on Quads. I want them to grow for absolutely no reason other than squashing a watermelon with my thighs🍑😂🍉! So far, I think I can do it, but I haven't tried it yet. I will soon!

The workout: 5 sets x 15-12 reps.
》Narrow Leg Press. Superset w/ DB Fron Squats.
》Low Leg Press.
》Single Leg Extension. Superset w/ Leg Extension. Do 15! It will burn, but that's where the good stuff is at.
》1 minute Wall Sit.

Women: your quads will not get bulky if you go heavy. You don't get jacked unless that is your goal. Getting "big" requires more work than just going heavy.

I want my legs to get big, I want big biceps... honestly, I want to be the mini version of @therock, but one can only dream😂! So, gals, go lift those weight if you want to get "toned," aka gain muscle definition.

After a long recovery process on a knee dislocation in my last game as a senior. Im finally able to get back into squatting with even hip position!
Dynamic lower on Friday morning✅

5X5 on safety squat bar
The weight is a lot lower than my regular 50%, because of the injury.

- Full grip on the rings

Movement:
- Start with arms and legs extended
- Pull elbows back until rings touch sides of chest
- Arms move close to the body
