So someone told me I couldn't improve my run time without running for my APFT/ACFT. Well my last APFT I dropped a little over a minute on my run time and I didn't run at all, just increased my lifts and the intensity I lifted. Got my heart rate up, brought it down, and got it back up. Cardio doesn't have to be running, if that's not your thing, there are plenty of other methods. Adding more super sets and shorter rest periods worked well for me! 💪💪💪

Misschien heb jij het gevoel dat het een ver van je bed show is, maar het klimaat heeft ook impact op jou. Gelukkig kun jij al heel gemakkelijk wat stappen ondernemen om wat milieubewuster te leven. Dit hoeft echt niet moeilijk te zijn. Koop bijvoorbeeld eens wat minder vaak plastic tasjes, maar neem je eigen tasje mee, scheid je plastic en karton van de rest van je afval of laat je stukje vlees eens wat vaker staan.

Ik heb wat tips voor je hoe je dat stukje vlees vervangt door iets anders, zodat je nog steeds heerlijk kan blijven genieten van je maaltijd, maar dan net iets bewuster. - RPE ist eine Abkürzung für "rated perceived exertion" und bedeutet übersetzt "bewertete wahrgenommene Anstrengung". Diese zeigt uns, wie der Name schon sagt, die subjektive Wahrnehmung des Trainingsgewichtes/ Wiederholung, während eines Satzes (Intensität).

- Folglich ergibt sich diese bewährte Tabelle:
. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
RPE 1-4 = sehr leicht
RPE 5-6 = noch 4-6 mögliche reps
RPE 7 = noch 3 mögliche reps
RPE 8 = noch 2 mögliche reps
RPE 9 = noch 1 mögliche rep
RPE 10 = keine weitere rep
. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
▪️Beispiel:
- RPE 7,5 = noch 2 mögliche reps + etwas mehr Gewicht

It takes away peace from ur daily life to friendships, relationships and yourself. It’s a daily fight inside your head. And sometimes it gets exhausting..constantly fighting. Good morning. Starting a new chapter today with a #snakediet style approach to eating my usual carnivorous food. I’m going for a huge ribeye and lots of juicy belly pork eaten around 9:30am with protein coming in around 180g. I’m NOT sticking to keto macros anymore and keeping additional fats to a minimum. I will now fast for 48 hours and eat again on Friday morning around 9:30am. Then repeat for as long as I need to. I may even throw in a 72 hour fast at some point or even a dry fast in between. See how I feel as it goes. I’m doing this as I am aiming to get super lean in the least time possible without messing myself up. I will be training on all of the feeding days about 3 hours after eating. The fasting will have a shed load of benefits besides the fat loss including, improving sleep, mood, digestion, blood sugar, insulin sensitivity, inflammation, joint pain, skin issues, increasing lifespan (longevity) to make a few. I was gradually moving in this direction myself without study but then was confirmed the power of this way of eating by @snake_diet_wizard on @shawnbaker1967 and @zachbitter ‘s Human performance outliers podcast. Confirmed: there’s nothing a solid leg day can’t fix.
I walked into the gym today literally feeling like jello. I was EXPECTING to have a bad workout because I was so tired, and I just kind of said “meh” and figured I’d just get it over with.
-
One set into squats and I felt amazing.
Weight was going up easy, my music was good, I felt strong, and all of the sudden my energy was through the roof.
-
Sometimes all it takes is doing the damn thing, even when you reallyyyy don’t want to or don’t feel like it. I am not always positive going into the gym, but I do it anyways because I pretty much always walk out feeling like a new woman.
-
Stick to your routine, get your booty in the gym, and whatever happens, happens. But at least you did the damn thing.
