Hopping between different diets and workout routines seen on social media is like swiping aimlessly on tinder - you are wasting tons of your time and it just won’t work.

What diet should I try this time? What products should I take to lose belly fat? What cream should I use to get rid of my cellulites?...

Do you know how much that “fitness influencer” is getting paid posting that particular product she claimed that does wonders to her body but in fact she hasn’t even touched the product herself?

I have been there. I was confused, I have followed “fitness professionals”, models, influencers online and I trusted them. I thought they were posting for the best of my interest, not for numbers in their bank account.

I have tried everything to lose weight: pills, detox tea, anti-cellulite slimming gels (is that even a thing?!), ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting, egg fast and the list goes on… .

I have tried keto for 4 months, lost some weight, but the cost was hair loss, dry skin, missing my period (losing my primary function as being a female - to reproduce).

Progressive overload. It’s the foundation of any weightlifting program or at least the good ones. But progressive overload comes in many forms, most people think of adding weight each time they workout . Which is great but not sustainable forever. Another great way is to increase reps. I like a program with a rep range say 8-12 this allows you to have flexibility increasing your reps for a few workouts before increasing in weight again. I did this today with my deadlifts, I wasn’t ready to go up in weight yet but I could muster an extra rep or two. Progressive overload. It’s the foundation of any weightlifting program or at least the good ones. But progressive overload comes in many forms, most people think of adding weight each time they workout . Which is great but not sustainable forever. Another great way is to increase reps. I like a program with a rep range say 8-12 this allows you to have flexibility increasing your reps for a few workouts before increasing in weight again. I did this today with my deadlifts, I wasn’t ready to go up in weight yet but I could muster an extra rep or two. I haven’t been too active lately mostly because I just finished a deload week. I noticed a major jump in my strength. Then, the following week, I noticed a constant decrease in my strength which is when I decided to deload. If you’re really pushing yourself and working out frequently your body will need to deload to maintain a gain in strength. Your body will build up fatigue and you should notice an increase in strength followed by a decrease in strength and overall being more fatigued. This is a clear sign your body is over-fatigued and needs to deload. To deload, I did resistance training four times a week but I cut my usual weight in half and did less volume. So, if I usually do four sets, I did two or three instead. A week should be enough time for your body to recover. After my deload I wanted to test my strength, so I maxed out my bench and deadlift. It’s good to push yourself but every now and then our bodies need a break, so make sure to let yourself recover.

Hit a great leg workout without my belt or olys. Recorded here are 3 sets of 3 squats; 3 at 265LBS, 3 at 275LBS and 3 at 285LBS. Then did a super set of barbell lunges and squats using the same weight; used 95LBS, sped this video up to get it to fit into a minute.

Embora isso não seja verdade, há muitas pessoas que imaginam que ambos sejam sinônimos.
O aquecimento envolve a preparação corporal, aprontando os músculos, tendões e articulações para prática de exercícios físicos.
O aquecimento está diretamente relacionado à diminuição do número de lesões, bem como à melhora do rendimento físico, quando realizado de forma pouco intensa e global.
No entanto, a realização dos alongamentos é bastante controversa: existem estudos que apresentam informações contrárias à prática do alongamento, mas existem estudos que apontam a importância de sua prática como coadjuvante do processo de preparação para a realização de exercícios físicos e esportivos, devendo durar entre 20 e 30 segundos cada ação muscular.
Porém, o alongamento não substitui o aquecimento, sendo ambos diferentes entre si.
Enquanto o aquecimento envolve o corpo de uma forma global, aquecendo sistemas musculares, nervosos e fluxo sanguíneo, o alongamento tem uma importância mais localizada na região que é mobilizada.

Een must in je fullbody workout! Je hebt 2 varianten waarbij je bij de 1 de kb zwaait tot oog hoogte en bij de ander tot boven je hoofd! Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar het zwaaien tot ooghoogte omdat deze veiliger is met een hoog gewicht. ⁣

✅ Houd met 2 handen de KB goed vast. ⁣
✅Zwaai vanuit je heupen de KB omhoog. Beweeg deze van achter naar voor.⁣
✅ Houd je rug goed recht en overeind.⁣
✅ Hoe meer tempo des te makkelijker de swing. ⁣
⁣
❌ Buig niet je rug. Span je buikspieren aan.⁣
❌ Laat de KB niet door je benen gaan maar stop hem net ervoor. ⁣
❌ Maak geen diepe squat beweging, maar gebruik je heupen. ⁣
