“There are so many things to be scared of in this world: blooms of jellies. A sixth extinction. A middle school dance. But maybe we can stop feeling so afraid. Maybe instead of feeling like a mote of dust, we can remember that all the creatures of the Earth are made from stardust. And we are the only ones who get to know it. That’s the thing about jellyfish: They’ll never understand that. All they can do is drift along, unaware. Humans may be the newcomers to this planet. We may be plenty fragile. But we’re also the only ones who can decide to change.” || From The Thing About Jellyfish by Ali Benjamin. If you haven’t read that book, I fully recommend it.

Had the opportunity today to visit the Hill of Crosses just outside the city of Šiauliai in Lithuania 🇱🇹, What an incredibly unique place that makes even this atheist feel the presence of the big girl upstairs.👸✝️

If not now, then when ?

Time goes by too fast to wait for life to happen.. the years arent waiting for you. They’ll fly right by and eventuelly you’ll look back, confused as to how u let all these years go by without doing the things you wanted to do.
If you want something, go after that something now. Stop waiting. Stop thinking its not the right time.
The time will never just be right... Have that in mind ✨

The General Staff building is also another important building that makes up Palace Square. Today, it displays Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artworks from many famous artist 😍 The sculpture sitting above the arch depicts the Goddess of Glory in her chariot of victory, to commemorate Russia’s triumph over Napoleon in 1812 🤩 If you’re visiting the Hermitage, depending which ticket you purchase, entry is included here! Who’s visited here before? 😃🙋🏼‍♀️🇷🇺

The past week has consisted of whale watching along the coast, snacking on wild blueberries that dot along the trails, lots of beautiful Irish songs (and accents), and lighthouses in every direction. A bit of an understatement here, but Newfoundland has cast a spell on me✨🌊
