Patricia has been coming out a lot this week! The struggle has been real! Anybody else? 💁🏻 Oh well! The difference between the old me and the new me is now we pick right back up! Don’t let 1 meal turn into a month! I told myself at the beginning of this that I would find balance! That’s what I’m doing! Finding the balance! #keto #lowcarb #vsg

I’ve worked too hard on myself for too long. As hard as it is to walk away from certain situations, sometimes you just need to realize that some paths are not meant for you.

    ✨The glow up I’ve always wished for✨
I struggled for 16 years of my life being overweight/obese. Now at the age of 25 I finally feel in control of my health ♥️ & I don’t plan on ever going back! #transformationtuesday #vsg #bodypositive

“Take before pictures of everything,” they said. Now I see why. I can’t believe I’m posting this but it was just too mind blowing not to share. I noticed my feet being less swollen a long time ago and my shoe size went down a half size. But I didn’t remember taking this picture on the left. I came across it on accident looking for a different picture from last summer. My feet were always a huge problem for me. I had heel spurs on both feet and plantar faciatis. All I drank was Diet Coke and the only shoes I could wear to prevent pain were Sketchers Go Walks. Very rarely I still feel that a tiny bit if I’ve walked a long distance in unsupportive shoes...but I never have regular foot pain anymore like I used to. I can wear flat sandals to work all day now and be perfectly fine. The difference in my ankle and leg are crazy, too. I am forever grateful for this second chance at my health.

One of which is my friendship with @totallysleevingitoverthere. We had a total #NSV yesterday just messing around at the mall. We have NEVER been able to go into just any store and try on anything we wanted...but yesterday we tried on some extra AF dresses and just LIVED!! •

This may not be a big deal for you... but it is FOR ME! 😍 I haven’t seen this number since high school, at least 15 years I have weighed over 200lbs, I have struggled with every number in between. Being 232pounds the day I found out I was pregnant with mason, seeing the scale go all the way up to 273 the day I delivered. I sat at about 250 for a couple years after that. I got down to 217 a few summers ago after a divorce and depression, and that depression led me to get on antidepressants that helped in that weight gain-along with emotional eating. My heaviest was 264 last year around Christmas time. I was still going through my process for insurance for surgery, and although I wanted to, I didn’t change my eating habits because I knew I could never eat this way again, and I have a true addiction to food! My weight before surgery fluctuated between 252 from trying to eat healthier and 264. I was 262 on surgery day. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs, had a plateau at 230 for a few weeks and I thought for sure the surgery wasn’t working, I thought it was just my body and I’d have to live with it. I gave myself a goal of 180lbs after surgery. )cause I don’t want to be a twig, I want to still be a woman!!!) That is only 20 pounds away! And it will be 5 months tomorrow since surgery! Thanks for reading my story :) had to share my scale victory after a few tears were shed! 💕 #bariatricsurgery #gastricsleeve #gastricsleevebeforeandafter #vsg #scalevictory #positiveenergy #weightlosstransformation #onederland
