The only bad workout is the one you didn’t do.

Sometimes you just need to take that first step and do it. I did not want to workout tonight. I did not wake up this morning in time to do it and all day I knew I needed to do it.

So after dinner, I drank my energize, got my workout clothes on and got it done. And I’m damn proud of myself for doing it. The kids may have interrupted me a few times but that’s okay! Madison even joined me for a few minutes, which I love.
I’m not gonna reach my goals from the couch. I have to take the steps I know I need to do. That means moving my body and following my ultimate portion fix meal plan.

Set a goal for yourself to do the same! Move your body this weekend! And if your ready to join me just reach out! I’m always here pushing play! 💪🏻

I can’t believe it’s Friday already, the week flys by when you’re busy 🥰

Speaking of being busy. Lately one thing I’ve noticed about myself is how much I stress over literally every little thing.

I let things bother me that shouldn’t.

As we all know, stress can literally affect your entire mood, sleep, mental clarity, energy levels, appetite & just overall your well being.

What I try to do lately when I feel myself becoming overwhelmed or my mood being off I try to take a step back. Recognize my stressors and acknowledging why I feel that way.

I make sure to have “me time” to relax my mind which for me is usually going to the beach, going on a walk with my pup, having a glass of wine, reading a book, taking a bath, cleaning, working out, anything that makes me feel better after.

Point being is we all deal with stress & emotions differently. Finding the root cause of things & having your escape when you need it is so helpful and needed.

Understand your feelings & find your outlets. Your “you” time. ✨❤️

Made it!!! A huge goal accomplished by completing my 1000th Peloton milestone ride and joining the Millennium Club! May have upped the number of classes a bit per day between 900 to 1000 but I just couldn't wait!

Special thanks to @codyrigsby for always being a huge motivator and giving me THREE shout outs today! Saved 1000 for you Boo and so glad I did!

Thank you to all my Pelo family who joined me and your high fives throughout the ride....Especially to my amazing trainer @mheliker for being with me for 1000!

Was it cold this morning? -yes

Did I wish I was wearing about 1,000 more layers? -yes

Did I have fun? -YES

Sometimes you have to make some small sacrifices to see some truly amazing things. Today we say 17 whooping cranes in the wild (compared to 3 last year). The whooping crane population once got all the way down to ~15 birds total! The fact that we were able to see any at all today is because so many people came together to save this specirs. Theirs still a long way to go, but I know with the support of zoos and people like you, well continue to see this bird and many other species for years to come.

Having a bit of fun with my environment. I was awake before my alarm which was set for 5 am. I just finished the book the 5 Second Rule and I may not of used that right when I woke up but something in the book really stuck with me. It mentions how your sleep cycles are 90-120 minutes. If you fall back asleep for less then that when you push snooze or in this case before the alarm goes off you mess up that cycle. So I made sure I did fall back asleep and got up about 10 minutes after I woke up. Guess what I haven’t been tired at all today! .

Leg day!

First time with weights in almost two weeks! My thigh is no longer hurting, soooo yay that’s a plus. After low impact cardio warm up yesterday, I found that it is most likely my knee that was the root of this injury because it started hurting yesterday.

So today was my first lower body strength workout since February 10th and I used a lot less weight for my squats and curtsy lunges and didn’t go down nearly as low as I usually do. I’m easing my way back into lifting heavy and moving lower.

Also. Those who wanted to see the barbell, I absolutely LOVED it for deadlifts! I had 27.5lbs on each side. Deadlifts are great if you have knee problems because they don’t put a lot of stress on your knee like a squat does. I’m going to love, LOVE adding heavier weight for the deadlifts!

Also. Those who wanted to see the barbell, I absolutely LOVED it for deadlifts! I had 27.5lbs on each side. Deadlifts are great if you have knee problems because they don’t put a lot of stress on your knee like a squat does. I’m going to love, LOVE adding heavier weight for the deadlifts!

Grab a family member, your workout buddy, your significant other because it’s time for a PARTNER WORKOUT!! ❤️ •
Grab a partner, your water bottle and a positive attitude to do this fun partner workout! Working out with a partner is always more fun so why not start the day out sweating together and then maybe grabbing a healthy breakfast or lunch together afterwards?!

3 Rounds of the Following Exercises:
1️⃣Partner 1 Holds an Isometric Squat while Partner 2 does High Knees for 30 seconds (switch at the 30 second mark so you and your partner are doing both exercises for 30 seconds each)
2️⃣Partner 1 Holds a Plank while Partner 2 runs over their legs, 2 feet inside and 2 feet outside on each side for 30 seconds total
3️⃣Partner Push-Up/ High Fives x 12 Total Reps
4️⃣Ab Roll up with 4 Punches x 12 Total Reps

Have fun with your workout buddy, jam to some music and encourage each other to keep working for the entire circuit! Continue to focus on proper form but this workout is meant for you to push through with a partner and to HAVE FUN!
