BENCH PRESS 💪🏼

Eine typische „Männerübung“?!
.
Nein, erstmal einfach nur eine der Übungen, die mich extrem motivieren. Nicht nur, weil man hier auch konstant etwas verbessern kann, sondern weil ich ganz am Anfang, mir nicht mal die Stange alleine zu getraut hätte. Einmal ist sie mir auch tatsächlich auf der Brust liegen geblieben. Es waren damals glaube ich 5kg pro Seite extra drauf, nicht mehr, aber es hat sich schwerer angefühlt!😄 Aber vielleicht musste es sein, denn mit der Zeit habe ich verstanden, dass mein Arm, meine Brust oder Schulter eben nicht einfach so, ohne Vorwarnung versagt. Und daraufhin habe ich das Gewicht gesteigert. Stück für Stück. Irgendwann tat mir hier und da etwas weh und ich habe vernünftigerweise auch meine Technik verbessert, davor war sie nicht schlecht, aber es war eben noch Luft nach oben da. Selbst jetzt, aber das liebe ich. Jeden Tag neu herausgefordert zu werden.💪🏼 Gewichte zu bewegen, die sonst nur Männer für sich beanspruchen und damit die Message an Frauen weitergeben zu können:
WENN DU ES NICHT PROBIERST, WIRST DU NIE WISSEN, OB ES FUNKTIONIEREN KANN!🔥 Und das gilt für so viele Bereiche! Nicht nur für die, die Stärke, Disziplin, Regelmäßigkeit, etc. fordern, sondern für so viel mehr! Aber wenn du schon aufgibst, bevor du es probierst, wirst du nie wissen, ob du vielleicht doch gewonnen hättest...

In diesem Sinne, wünsche ich euch ein super Wochenende! Macht was daraus und schöpft Kraft! Nichts ist unmöglich!💫

Leider gibt es bzgl. Training viele Halbwahrheiten und Trainierende, die sich durch mangelnde Anleitung manchmal mehr weh, als gut tun. Daher bin ich so froh, dass ich in einem Studio arbeite, wo ich Zeit bekomme, auch die Betreuung, die Einführung an die Geräte und die Trainingspläne ordentlich machen zu können.🙏🏼 Meine Ausbildung dafür habe ich über @safsbeta gemacht und bilde mich auch dieses Jahr über sie weiter! Ich bin so froh darüber, immer mehr zu wissen und noch besser zu werden, in dem was ich mache. Mit jedem Wissen, macht mir meine Arbeit mehr Spaß! The #1 reason I hear for not working out is “I don’t have time.” The truth is, we make the time for the things that are important to us. Make yourself a priority and start small. This full body circuit can be done at home with just a set of medium weights in less than 20 minutes. Go through each slide and then repeat, doing 10-20 reps of each exercise depending on how heavy your weights are (go until you can’t do another). Stop making excuses and start lifting 💪.

🏃‍♂️I took it easy today and only went for 10km. My knee is still not 100%, (maybe 98%) even if this run went well, I did not feel for pushing to hard.
I’m certain within a few days my knee will be all good again. I do workout to strengthen my knee and it seems to really work.👍

🏃‍♂️I took it easy today and only went for 10km. My knee is still not 100%, (maybe 98%) even if this run went well, I did not feel for pushing to hard.
I’m certain within a few days my knee will be all good again. I do workout to strengthen my knee and it seems to really work.👍

This week I ran at Mackenzie Park and Lubbock Lake Landmark and I absolutely LOVED it! I learned that I can’t run more than 4 miles on campus otherwise I will go absolutely insane.
If you have any other good places to run, let me know!
BUT, I am so happy because my pace for 7 miles was UNDER 11 MINUTES!!! Ahhhhh!!! Like I’ve said before, I don’t have a goal as far as my pace, but it is so exciting to see my pace get faster!!! Happy Friday, and I hope to see you at Women’s Night tonight!!!

When I’m traveling, I typically don’t have a lot of time to workout. AND even if I did, I’m not tryin to spend it in the gym when I could be experiencing other things. That’s why I’m a big fan of full body HIIT workouts. They are quick & effective & allow me to get on with other things I love to do. 🤗

Grab 2 heavy dumbbells (I used 40s) & give this one a try! 👊

Today’s plans include: testing the final workout from my guide🏃🏽‍♀️, homework/studying, and going on a fraternity ice skating date night even though i haven’t ice skated since i was 10 ⛸🙃 I also might be on an oatmeal kick now... pre-run breakfast is: 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of @califiafarms almond milk, 2 tbs maple syrup, 1 scoop @nuzest_usa vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon that i let sit overnight. This morning I put the oats in a bowl, microwaved them for 1 minute and then for 30 seconds, then I added @earthbalance peanut butter, banana slices, and a strawberry cut up! Nothing better than warm peanut butter on oats 😍💕 Happy Friday!

Muscles *incoming* 🤞🏽
I’ve definitely been off my game recently so it feels good to finally be getting back on track and motivated. I’m training 4-5 times a week plus any spin classes I teach and usually getting 10-15k steps a day. I have 8 weeks til the end of my goal so I’m in a small calorie deficit to lean down a bit but focusing on good nutrition dense food, green smoothies, high volume of fruit and veg in general, lots of good fats and enough protein 💪🏽
Working on my core strength too but omg my abs have the worst doms 😱 I’d quite like to film a 30 day ab challenge and do 10 mins a day and compare in 30 days. What do you guys think? Would you wanna see that? My abs will be dying 😂 but it’ll be worth as they’re quite weak atm.
Anyway it’s FriYAY 🎉🥰 so I’ve got to teach spin + 3 more classes and 2 clients and maybe try and squeeze a leg session in if I can 🤞🏽 The only thing getting me through the day is the thought of a hot bath and pijamas later 🛀 🤤

I’m training 4-5 times a week plus any spin classes I teach and usually getting 10-15k steps a day. I have 8 weeks til the end of my goal so I’m in a small calorie deficit to lean down a bit but focusing on good nutrition dense food, green smoothies, high volume of fruit and veg in general, lots of good fats and enough protein 💪🏽
Working on my core strength too but omg my abs have the worst doms 😱 I’d quite like to film a 30 day ab challenge and do 10 mins a day and compare in 30 days. What do you guys think? Would you wanna see that? My abs will be dying 😂 but it’ll be worth as they’re quite weak atm.
Anyway it’s FriYAY 🎉🥰 so I’ve got to teach spin + 3 more classes and 2 clients and maybe try and squeeze a leg session in if I can 🤞🏽 The only thing getting me through the day is the thought of a hot bath and pijamas later 🛀 🤤
