    If you are currently struggling with or recovering from an injury, it can be really difficult to find ways to incorporate exercise back into your routine. One of the MOST common requests I get are for exercises which are easy on the wrists, so, here are some wrist-friendly options to help minimise pressure on the area!! ⁣

✅Push Up (Dumbbells) - 10 reps⁣
✅Seated Row - 12 reps ⁣
✅Lat Pulldown - 12 reps ⁣
✅Tricep Pushdown - 15 reps ⁣
⁣
Tip: Often the most pressure is applied to the wrists when they are in an extension position (when the roof of your hand is bent upward, or towards you). To combat this, try keeping your wrists in a neutral position (with a clenched fist with minimal flexion or extension 👊🏼) to offset the pressure.⁣

    В прошлое воскресенье, мы з братом поехали к дому где прошло наше детство. 
Обошли все дворики, там по прежнему те же разбитые ступеньки, и мне показалось, я помню каждый камешек. 
Все казалось уже не таким большим и величавым, но запахи, запахи тех улиц остались теми же.
Парк, где мы гроздьями весели на деревьях шелковицы, и где была случайно съедена не одна американская вонючка 🥴 
Мы выпили чай просто сидя на лавочке. И мне даже показалось, вот оно мое место силы.

    The Garudasana is all about stability, balance and alignment of all your chakras. It’s one of the toughest asanas for me as I get all twisty and scared that I will loose balance. My sir @vikash_yoga says I do it really well 😊

    How spontaneous are you? Does your heart leap and truly go with the flow? Are you free spirited ! I realize that I tend to be generally more cautious as I determine every action with its consequence unfolding like a dramatic story in the chambers of the mind😂. However these past few days in Montenegro encouraged me to be more spontaneous and playful 💕 With the patient encouragement of @ashvinder_kaur and @dblexander , I managed to swim in the dark waters of the Kotor bay at 2am under a full moon starlit sky- something that I have never ventured to do! So I ask the question- how freely do we all live and love? How spontaneous can we be to live life a little! Of course most of us organized folks will find this quite difficult and challenging. I realize everyday that it can actually be a lot of fun, not to plan, not to over think of every move, not to build high walls! Given that every choice comes with consequences, here’s to living life to the fullest and making wiser choices and having a little spark of unexpected joy on the way. What about you? Are you a naturally spontaneous person. Leave some advice, a comment perhaps on how I can be more impromptu and unrestricted in my daily choices ? 📸 @dimasfrolov Outfit @lululemonme

    Today is Day 9 of #releasetheinnerlion with a pose that makes me feel power in being flexible. .
Handstands were THE pose that really shifted the view I had of myself from “I will always be a weak girl” to “I am strong.” I’ve always naturally been more on the flexible side rather than the strength side, and I love how handstands have shown me I can be both. 💪🏽

    A story 💛

I was lying awake at 3am. Which is pretty normal for me. I usually roll over and click the light on my alarm to find 3... something flashing on there. But 3am is a good thing, any earlier and I know I’m in  for a long night

As I was lying there I thought, 
I don’t want to be and old woman who is living with brittle bones disease because she spent life eating a little too less, who can’t quite think right because for years she only slept 4 or 5 hours maximum, who doesn’t have stories to tell her grandchildren because the most important thing felt like it was to be thin, and because being permanently hungry meant she was always a bit distracted - never really there

I was lying there thinking, it’s time for change 
Because 
What I want is health, and purpose, and magic. And that is not found in dedicating your life to staying small
