Retour du gratin de pommes de terre. Repas réconfort par excellence. En plus j’adore les pommes de terre, encore mieux celles de mon jardin.

Rien à voir mais j’ai fait quelques folies pour noël ce soir avec une collègue. Je me suis achetée le parfum que je voulais depuis un an et demi alors j’ai fini par craquer.... pour ma défense j’avais 60% dessus alors ça valait le coup !

Bref qui a commencé ses cadeaux de noël d’ailleurs ?

🌸Recette du gratin de pommes de terre (2 portions) 🌸
.
.
Pour les macros pour une portion : G : 48g / L: 26g / P: 27g soit 539 calories .
.
1. Pelez, lavez et coupez 450 g de pommes de terre en tranches.
2. Faites-les cuire 10 minutes dans de l'eau bouillante.
3. Pendant ce temps, mélangez 15 gr de maïzena avec 200 ml de lait de soja @markal_bio  100 ml d'eau, sel et poivre dans une casserole.
4. Faites cuire à feu vif tout en mélangeant jusqu'à épaississement. Puis ajouter 10cl de crème liquide .
5. Etalez 1 couche de sauce dans un plat allant au four, puis 1 couche de pommes de terre et répétez le processus. J’ai aussi rajouté 40 g de mozzarella en tranches. 
6. Ajoutez 70 grammes de fromage râpé mélangés à 20g de parmesan sur le dessus puis enfournez à 200 degrés pendant 20minutes environ. 
7. Servir chaud et n'oubliez pas de me montrer vos réalisations (#lesrecettesdemariediary) 😉

    Pumpkin Samosas (Samsa) with Cilantro Mint Chutney by  @naturallyzuzu 💚

Makes 14-15 samosas 
Note: I used Store bought vegan Empanada Wrappers for quick version. (1 pack) 
Skip the dough making part if you’re using pre-made wrappers as well. 
Homemade Dough
2 cups all purpose flour 
1 teaspoon Salt
2-3 tablespoons avocado oil 
1/2 cup hot Water
3 tbps of non dairy yogurt 
one handful Sesame Seeds
Filling
1 medium size Butternut Squash (about 2 cups) 
1 large red onion
5-6 fresh curry leaves (optional) 
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Cumin 
2 tsp of coconut or date sugar 
3 tablespoons Avocado Oil
Method: 
Preheat oven to 380 degrees F.
In a stand mixer, combine flour, hot water, non dairy yogurt, and salt and kneed dough for 5 minutes until dough is smooth. cover and rest for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, mince onion and pumpkin. I used my food processor to mince all the filling ingredients coarsely. Mix with salt, pepper, cumin, sugar and oil. 
Divide the dough into 12-15 pieces. Make a ball, dust the surface lightly with flour and roll out each dough ball into 4-5 inch diameter. Repeat the process with each dough pieces. They don’t have to be perfectly round. Fill each dough with. 2 tbsp of pumpkin mixture and fold it in triangle. Watch my highlights for step step instructions. Fill all dough wrappers with the pumpkin filling. 
Line cookie trays with some parchment paper. Place the samosas with folder side down on the cookie tray. Brush each samosa with some almond or soy milk, sprinkle with some black sesame seeds and bake them for 30 min until top is golden brown.  Enjoy with some mint chutney.     im always so thankful I GET to train 🏋🏼‍♀️ on days I don’t feel like it, I remind myself that a ton of people aren’t able to and it gets me to the gym with a good attitude. Fitness has forever saved and changed my life & I’ve been so lucky to able to change other people’s lives through fitness .

Now this product I only get for a treat. 😋Innocent smoothies are full of nutrients and can be super healthy... BUT, because it’s mostly crushed fruit, the sugar levels are immensely high. 🙃You would never eat 7 strawberries 🍓 and 2 🍌 in one go, 🤨but drinking it, and bam it’s gone. 😲So be careful of those hidden sugars! 
Before I was diagnosed 🤒I was craving sugar, and often remember having these at uni to satisfy my cravings and not feel so guilty about it (compared to sweets 🍬 and chocolate 🍫 ). So this brought back come memories, even though I struggled to drink more than a few sips at a time as it was so sweet 😂
Anyways these now come with hats 🎩which have been knitted for to raise money for age uk - and I have to admit, seeing this crazy hat 🦆I was like I’m gonna get it since I would never normally buy these drinks since they are so sweet. So yeah, I got the drink for a duck hat🐤... coolio

S'il y a un produit bio à acheter ici c'est la salade ! Pourquoi ? Car les pesticides sont directement sur la feuille (et on ne peut pas peler une feuille haha)⁣
Je l'ai acheté à la vie claire personnellement et elle m'a coûté... 1 euro.⁣
Pour 1 euro, j'avais de quoi faire 3 salades ! ⁣
En plus de ça, on évite aussi l'emballage plastique qui pollue (on ne le répétera jamais assez)⁣

    🌟Dinner🌟

Okay so this was hands down a win all round! Chicken and mushroom pie with mash & corn on the cob 🌽 🥧 🍗 🍄 made this from scratch (minus the pastry obviously) 🤪 and it was unreal. Going to put ingredients below ❤️
Alfie loved it and ate about 3/4 of his Portion which isn’t bad considering the size lol. Made enough for left overs tomorrow 😍 on reflection wish I had added more veg. 
Ingredients:
Puff pastry
Chicken breast or thighs
Mushrooms (about 300g)
1 onion
2-3 garlic gloves 
Chicken stock - I used about 350 mls
Double cream - 150mls
Butter - 50g
Thyme - 2-3 teaspoons 
Flour - okay I really don’t know how much in grams but about two heaped tablespoons.

So quick simple method as it’s not that hard...
1. Melt butter and add onion, garlic, thyme and mushrooms then simmer.
2. Add the flour, mix well then add the stock.
3.add cooked chicken and double cream
