I decided 2020 would be a year where I dedicate my efforts to seeing how fast I can be at 54 years old as a triathlete again. I’ve NEVER raced with gadgets (heart monitors, power meters etc.) because I firmly believe by FEEL - “rhythm & pace” is the best way to get the best results race day. I also believe a $12,000 bike does NOT make you faster unless you have the 4% ability to make that bike move fast like they are designed for. Therefore I’m excited to dust of the 2007 @kuotacycle Kalibur 😂🤷🏽‍♂️ Laugh all you want, but here’s a interesting fact. @normann.stadler went 4:18:23 on his way to wining the 2006 @ironmantri World Championship title on the exact same frame. That bike course record stood for years until @cjwurf broke it two years ago. @normann.stadler bike split would still be considered good at this years IMH. Looking forward to passing a few $12k bikes this year and if there are any wheel companies that want to dress her up with a good pair of race wheels DM me 😜 #OldSchool ✊
